Chapter 128 - Really Helpful

Watching the time move slowly on the clock, Jinhee let out a deep sigh. That's when, the door to the room opened.

"Jinhee-ah! I'm back!" Taehee exclaimed excitedly as she walked into the room.

'Most definitely because I'm bored out of my mind here alone, I'm happy to see Taehee.'

Closing the door behind her, Taehee walked towards the chair beside Jinhee's bed and took a seat there. Without realizing it, a smile formed on Jinhee's face.

"How was the exam?" Jinhee questioned.

"Piece of cake," Taehee answered, "After all, I am a genius!"

Jinhee simply rolled her eyes.

"Anyways, guess what, Jieun was embarrassed greatly today," Taehee voiced out— joy noticeable in her tone.

Jinhee gave Taehee a stern stare.

"I wasn't behind it! Really!" Taehee exclaimed defensively.

Jinhee looked at Taehee dubiously. Most definitely, there was Taehee's hand behind it.

"It's just that a mere glance from me was enough to petrify her." Taehee shrugged her shoulders.

Jinhee just shook her head at Taehee. No matter what she says, Taehee wouldn't exactly listen to her, and surprisingly, she did not dislike this action of Taehee.

"What were taught in the class today?" Jinhee questioned.

Taehee was someone with a smart brain, and surely, she remembered most of the materials— if not, then all— from the classes.

"And then, the hot coffee spilt on Miss Shin's shirt. Instead of looking seductive, she ended up being a fool at the end."

Taehee laughed loudly.

'Yeah, she definitely remembered everything, which is the gossips.'

Jinhee rolled her eyes.

For almost an hour, Taehee had been filling her ears with gossips from unknown sources, and no matter on what were taught left her mouth.

Many times, Jinhee tried to interfere by asking questions on the subjects whilst maintaining patience. But Taehee managed to effectively redirect the topic to some new gossips.

Jinhee decided to try for the one last time.

"Did you learn any new topic for mathematics today?" Jinhee asked— irritation visible in her tone.

"Mathematics? Yeah! There were two," Taehee voiced out.

"I remembered something. When the math teacher was explaining functions, Im Jieun stood up and wanted to ask him a question when—"

"Stop! Han Taehee, stop!" Jinhee exclaimed.

"I think I had heard enough gossips for now, and if you don't have anything to tell related to studies, the don't talk."

"Heol!" Taehee voiced out, "You're so rude! But didn't you say you enjoyed my chattering?"

"I take it back! Han Taehee, I take that back," Jinhee vocalised.

Taehee winked and playfully, vocalised, "Nope, you're allowed to. Now, let me continue this."

"No! No! No!" Jinhee repeated whilst shaking her head. She definitely did not want to listen to more.

Standing up, Taehee bent down and held her hand against Jinhee's mouth to silence her. Realizing what Taehee did, Jinhee's eyes widened, and she scowled at Taehee.

Jinhee started cursing and shooting at Taehee. However, her words came out muffled, and Taehee began to laugh. Tears formed at the corner of her eyes as she noticed Jinhee's intensifying gaze.

Opening her mouth, Jinhee successfully bit into the meaty part of Taehee's palm, and seeing that Taehee was not moving her hand in spite of that, Jinhee dug in her teeth more.

The metallic taste of blood entered into Jinhee's mouth, and she immediately stopped biting Taehee.

A smug smirk sat upon Taehee's face whilst she took her hand back. The intensity of Jinhee's glare did not diminish.

"Wow! Jinhee, those are some strong teeth."

Whilst being careful so that the blood is not swallowed down, Jinhee spoke out, "Tissue."

Turning towards the table into her side, Taehee took out a piece of tissue and handed it over to Jinhee.

Accepting the piece of tissue from Taehee's hand, Jinhee removed the remains of blood from her mouth.

"Jinhee, you're really heartless. Look what you have done to my hand."

Taehee showed her palm to Jinhee, and staring at her teeth mark on it, Jinhee felt satisfied.

"I should take a picture of this," Jinhee expressed, "Looking at this, my mood cheers up instantly."

"Jinhee-ah, you're turning into a sadist gradually," Taehee spoke out.

'That's funny coming from you.'

Before Jinhee could retort, she heard knocks on the door, and turning her attention towards the direction of the door, Jinhee spoke out, "You can come in."

The bouquet of flower was held by Chaewon as she walked into the room. Seeing Chaewon here bought a bright smile upon Jinhee's face.

"Chaewon," Jinhee voiced out, "You're here!"

"I heard about the incident earlier and wanted to check up on your health. How are you doing now?" Chaewon questioned.

The concern in Chaewon's tone made Jinhee feel happy for this meant that Chaewon started to care for her as a friend.

"I'm feeling alright. There are just some wounds on my body that would take few days to get healed," Jinhee vocalised.

"Alright then. I have written the notes for you on what was taught in the class," Chaewon vocalised as she stepped towards Jinhee's bed.

"Really? Thank you a lot about it," Jinhee voiced out, "But it must have been a trouble for you since you had to write for Jaehyun as well."

"I treat it as practice," Chaewon spoke out.

Opening her bag, Chaewon took out a thin, blue notebook and placed it down on the table.

"Once again, thanks," Jinhee expressed, "You're really helpful unlike someone."

"Hey! I can be helpful as well," Taehee vocalised, "I'll write the notes tomorrow for you instead of Chaewon, and I'll show you that I can do it better than her."
