Han Taehyun and Lee Jinhee were seated at the library inside the Han Mansion. Bookshelves were placed both sides of them, and the table was circular. Four chairs were placed around the table.
A big smile formed on Lee Jinhee's face. It appeared that she wasn't as much as unintelligent she thought she was. When she accepted Han Taehyun's challenge, Lee Jinhee had a nagging feeling that she would lose.
However, looking through the notes, she found them looking familiar and recalled what was taught in her last life. A wide, victorious smile formed on her face.
Turning towards Han Taehyun, Jinhee voiced out, "See, I understand all of them. You can leave now."
Han Taehyun clapped both of her hands together, and with a joyful smile on her face, Taehyun said, "That's great! I don't understand any one of them and needed someone to explain them to me."
"W-What?" Lee Jinhee stuttered out.
'Han Taehyun, the top student at Starlight Highschool, who attended the classes, wants help from me, who is at the bottom of the class and did not attend the classes. What a joke!'
"I didn't understand the teacher's explanation, so I need someone to explain this to me. I swear, I tried to go through the notes yet remained clueless in the end," Taehyun stated.
This boy was getting too irritating, and Lee Jinhee was getting exhausted of thinking of ideas in order to get rid of him. Lee Jinhee thought that by answering everything clearly, Taehyun would admit defeat and leave her alone.
However, instead of Taehyun teaching her, it turned to her teaching Han Taehyun. How absurd is this! If Han Taehyun didn't hear the teacher's explanation, why did he volunteer to teach her in the first place?
How much big of a joke she was to him?
"No, I don't want to explain these notes to you," Jinhee said, "It's your fault for not properly paying attention in classes, and if you didn't understand, you could've asked the teacher to explain the entire thing to you once more."
Lee Jinhee then added, "After all, the teachers won't dare to reject you."
"I asked them to explain to me," Han Taehyun spoke out.
With a sigh, Han Taehyun continued, "However, during the entire class and even when the teacher was explaining me, my thoughts were filled with you. It's your fault for capturing my mind."
Lee Jinhee scoffed.
"Han Taehyun, do you actually take me for a five years old or is it you who has a mentality of a five years old? I have studies to do, and I would be extremely grateful if you left me alone," Lee Jinhee said.
Flipping the pages of her notebook, Lee Jinhee turned away from Han Taehyun and began looking through the notebook. Creases formed between both of her eyebrows.
Taehyun placed his hand in front of her notebook, and when Lee Jinhee turned her head to look at him, an irritated expression sat upon her face. What was it this time around?
"What? What? What? What do you want?" Lee Jinhee questioned.
"Jinhee-ah, didn't you say that you owe to me?" Han Taehyun spoke out— a cheeky smile playing on her face. Han Taehyun used his hidden card.
Lee Jinhee let out a groan. She couldn't retaliate against him when he used this card, and with her eyes glaring at him, she questioned, "What the hell do you even need help with, Han Taehee!?"
After listening to Lee Jinhee, Han Taehyun's face turned serious all of a sudden, and noticing that, Lee Jinhee grew alarmed. What was the sudden shift of emotions about?
"Lee Jinhee-ah," Han Taehyun enunciated.
His voice sounded deeper than usual, and the way her name rolled off his tongue sounded euphonious to her. A dangerous glint appeared in Han Taehyun's eyes, and Lee Jinhee's treacherous heart started beating faster. Nervousness within Lee Jinhee increased.
'Stop beating so fast, You Heart! It's just a handsome male with charms! Just a handsome male, and you'll meet more of them in the future! You can't beat this fast over all of them or I'll get some heart disease.'
Lee Jinhee didn't realize when she subconsciously stopped breathing, and her eyes widened when she noticed Han Taehyun's face nearing to hers. She had to do something fast. However, she couldn't move herself.
Raising his hand, Han Taehyun flicked her forehead, and wincing at the pain that went through her forehead, Lee Jinhee closed her eyes. She rubbed the spot Han Taehyun flicked at. It seemed that the tense air around her had eased down considerably, and she was out of the trance.
Han Taehyun voiced out, "Next time you call me Taehee, it won't be a simple flick on the forehead. I'll repeat it once more. My name is Han Taehyun, and it is the name of your future boyfriend."
With her left leg, Lee Jinhee stomped on Han Taehyun's feet, and feeling satisfied when he let out a groan, Jinhee, mimicking his voice, said, "Next time you repeat those words, it won't be just stomping on the foot."
Han Taehyun licked his lips.
"Feisty," He commented, "I like that."
"Geez! You pervert! Now, which part do you actually need help with?" Lee Jinhee asked whilst being irked.
