Chapter 171 - Stalker

As Lee Jinhee was about to sleep, she heard phone ringing, and sitting up, Jinhee grabbed her phone from the nightstand. Noticing Han Taeho's name on the screen, Jinhee received the call and wondered on about why would he be calling her this late at night.

"Taeho, what's the matter?" Jinhee asked whilst placing the phone close to her ear.

"I am afraid that Kwon Youngmi will be attending school from tomorrow onwards," Taeho voiced out, "Don't be afraid though. I'll be sending one of my best bodyguards for you."

"Hmm," Jinhee replied, "Thanks. This was bound to happen sooner or later."

°°°

Lee Jinhee yawned as she got up from the bed. Today was the day she will be attending school, and although Jinhee willing to go to the school, Jinhee did not feel an ounce of enthusiasm within her.

Going to school meant bearing others' judgemental stares, listening to gossips on her, and probably dealing with fellow classmates' bullying as well— nothing Lee Jinhee wasn't used to.

Moreover, Kwon Youngmi would be attending, and the mention of her name was enough to make Lee Jinhee shudder. Jinhee had no idea on what she could be planning on the first day of school, and if it was like her last life— on Youngmi's first day of school— then Jinhee had a way to avoid it.

Removing the blanket off her leg, Lee Jinhee sat at the edge of the bed, and glancing at the clock, Jinhee read the time on the clock. It seemed as if she woke up too early for school.

At that moment, Jinhee recalled that she did not have her school uniform, and before going to classes, she needed to stop by the dorms to get her uniform.

That's when, Lee Jinhee heard a knock on the door, and she voiced out, "You can enter in."

The door to the room opened, and a maid stepped into the room. The maid was dressed in the black maids' uniform and bowed after entering into the room. Held within her hand was a school uniform, and looking at it, Jinhee realized that it was the uniform for Starlight Highschool.

"Young Miss Taehee has prepared this uniform for you, Miss Jinhee," The maid voiced out politely.

Lee Jinhee nodded and spoke out, "Thanks."

The maid closed the door behind her and walked towards Lee Jinhee's bed. She then placed the uniform on top of the bed, and moving away from the bed, she stood in the middle of the room.

"You'll be staying here?" Jinhee asked whilst raising one of her eyes.

"Young Miss Taehee said that you might need help and ordered me to stay here. She also told that even if you refuse me, I should not obey and stay here," The maid stated.

Lee Jinhee sighed.

°°°

With the help of the maid from earlier, Lee Jinhee head downstairs and walked towards the direction of the dining room. Han Jihye and Jinyoung was present in the dining room, and it seemed both of them were engrossed in a world of theirs. Jinhee found it pleasant to look at such a loving couple.

As the maid pulled the chair open, Lee Jinhee took the seat beside Han Taehyun whilst her eyes stared at the couple. Taehyun noticed where Lee Jinhee's eyes were, and his lips curved to a playful smile.

"Good morning, Jinhee-ah! Don't be sad. It won't be long before we are like them. In fact, we will be more romantic than them," Han Taehyun commented.

Before Lee Jinhee could retort, Han Jihye rolled her eyes and spoke out, "Only an idiot would want to choose you and suffer."

Then turning towards Lee Jinhee, Han Jihye pulled on a bright smile and exclaimed, "Good morning, Jinhee-ah!"

"Good morning," Han Jinyoung voiced out with a slight smile on his face.

"Good morning, Jihye-ssi, Jinyoung-ssi," Lee Jinhee spoke out politely.

Looking at the variety of dishes in front of her, Jinhee felt her appetite increase. Each of the dishes exuded a wonderful scent, and they looked equally delicious.

"No good morning for me?" Han Taehyun voiced out.

Looking at Han Taehyun's attempt to do a aegyo, Lee Jinhee burst out into laughter. Nonetheless, she had to admit that Taehyun looked extremely cute, and raising her head, she patted Han Taehyun's head.

Since his parents were present, Lee Jinhee did not dare insult Han Taehyun, and smiling at him, she mumbled, "I want your day to go bad."

Hearing Lee Jinhee's words, Han Taehyun began to laugh, and instead of exposing Jinhee, he, loudly, voiced out, "It's just as you say, Jinhee-ah! With you by my side, how can my day go bad?"

Noticing that both Han Jinyoung and Jihye was staring at them, Jinhee felt embarrassment fill her, and she kicked Han Taehyun under the table. Nonetheless, Han Taehyun continued to smile as if nothing had happened.

°°°

Sitting inside the car beside Han Taehyun, Lee Jinhee continued to stare down at her lap. Ever since the morning, Jinhee had an ominous feeling brewing up within her, and Jinhee tried her best to quell the anxiety within her.

"Are you alright? Your face looks pale," Han Taehyun pointed out— concern noticeable in his tone.

"Yes, I am just nervous on how things would go at school," Lee Jinhee voiced out.

Han Taehyun placed his hand on Jinhee's shoulder and smiled at her. The warm smile of Han Taehyun provided somewhat comfort to Lee Jinhee and let her know that Taehyun was beside her regardless of the situation.

"If I am there beside you, what do you need to be nervous of, My Silly Little Squirrel?" Han Taehyun spoke out whilst raising his head to pat Jinhee's head.

"Such arrogance and confidence is not good," Jinhee commented.

Han Taehyun pinched Jinhee's nose and said, "Regardless of it is good or bad, it is the truth. I may have slipped the last time, but this time I'll be like your shadow."

"You stalker," Lee Jinhee said.

Han Taehyun laughed and voiced out, "It's difficul to get such a handsome stalker so treasure me."

Lee Jinhee rolled her eyes.

"I prefer to be without a stalker regardless of how that person looks."
