Chapter 181 - Demise

Hearing Lee Jinhee's words, Han Taehyun began to laugh, and everyone turned to look at Han Taehyun. Not bothered by other's gazes, Taehyun continued to stare at Lee Jinhee. Truly his Little Squirrel was getting more and more fierce.

One of the male classmates slammed his hand on the table and stood up. As his eyes stared daggers at Lee Jinhee, he protested, "That's not true! Behaviour matters the most for us. We all prefer Kwon Youngmi because of how polite and sweet she is."

Facing the Male Student, Lee Jinhee arched her eyebrows and voiced out, "Oh! Really? Then, why do you all bully Ahn Chaewon when she had not done anything wrong?"

The Male Student stuttered, "A-About t-that, uhm…"

"See? You have no answer. I don't even feel like cursing at such sorry excuse of human beings such as you all," Lee Jinhee said before letting out a scoff.

Then, Lee Jinhee turned towards Kwon Youngmi and said, "Youngmi-ssi, you don't have to worry. As long as you have the status as the President's daughter, no one would dare touch you. If that's all, I'll be leaving."

As Lee Jinhee was about to turn her back on Kwon Youngmi and walk away, a tear fell down Jinhee's eyes, and she questioned, "Jinhee-ssi, what have I done to make you hate me like this?"

Kwon Youngmi then began to bow and said, "If I had done something that had offended you, I am sorry. I am really sorry."

Curving her lips into a mocking smile, Lee Jinhee turned back and said, "Are you planning to turn into a waterfall, Youngmi-ssi? Yes, you're right. I am not fond of people like you, so keep your distance from me."

Wiping away the tears from the corner of her eyes, Kwon Youngmi asked, "Then, what can I do to make you like me?"

Lee Jinhee put on a wide smile and questioned, "You want for me to like you?"

Kwon Youngmi nodded and said, "Although I don't understand what is it about me that makes you hate me, I will try my best to please you and change that quality of mine. So, please give me a chance, Jinhee-ssi."

"This is the method you should have taken as well, Han Taehee. Maybe then I would have accepted you," Jinhee whispered whilst leaning her head back.

Straightening her neck, Lee Jinhee voiced out, "That doesn't sound like a bad idea. But are you willing to do anything to gain my approval?"

Kwon Youngmi nodded and said, "If it makes you happy and is nothing that goes against my morals, I am willing to do it for you."

"Kwon Youngmi is such an angel!" One of the students in the classroom voiced out.

"Lee Jinhee is such a bully," Another one stated.

"You're right! Youngmi did not do anything wrong yet she apologized. Even then, Jinhee is being so heartless."

"I always did not like Lee Jinhee."

Hearing the whisperings of her classmates, Lee Jinhee wanted to scoff at each one of them. Her classmates were truly hypocrites.

'Angel? Are you all that naive? And a bully? Heol! That sounds funny coming from you, You Bastard!'

"Kwon Youngmi, just ignore her. Lee Jinhee is not as important as you in the first place," One of the female students said.

Facing the female student that uttered those words, Lee Jinhee smiled and voiced out, "Cool! That's an amazing idea! You should ignore all those who are not as important as you, which will lead you to have three friends— if everyone of those people wants to be your friend."

Placing his hand on Jinhee's shoulder, Han Taehyun voiced out, "Go easy on them. Can't you see that Kwon Youngmi is about to cry?"

Lee Jinhee looked at the tears that were forming at the corner of Youngmi's eyes. Extending her left hand, Jinhee wiped away the tears from the corner of her eyes and said, "Aigoo! You shouldn't cry that easily or else you'll be called crybaby by the others."

Kwon Youngmi immediately sat down on the ground and repeatedly bowed at Jinhee. Lee Jinhee rolled her eyes at Youngmi's actions. Rage increased within some students in the classroom.

However, after looking at Han Taehyun's stern eyes, they did not dare interfere. Their life was more important to them than Kwon Youngmi after all.

"What are you doing, Youngmi-ssi?" Lee Jinhee questioned— awkwardness noticeable in her tone.

"I am really sorry. I am sorry for everything, but please don't fight with other students because of me. I am really sorry. I am willing to do anything you want in order to be your friend, Jinhee-ssi," Youngmi spoke out.

Lee Jinhee smirked.

"Don't worry about that. You're not worth that much so that I would fight with the other students," Jinhee said.

Then, she continued, "You can stand up now. I can not talk to you with you kneeling on the ground like this."

Hearing her words, Kwon Youngmi stood up immediately and placed a soft smile on her face. Jinhee held in her urge to roll her eyes at Youngmi's pretense. What does Youngmi think she will be earning from this?

"Sure, I can be your friend," Jinhee voiced out, "But only after when you agree to be my errand girl for a month."

Many had their jaws dropped after listening to Lee Jinhee's words. With Lee Jinhee's status, they were stupified at how Jinhee got the courage to utter those words out. In their opinion, Lee Jinhee was either too foolish or brave. The former one sounded a better choice to them.

Only Han Taehyun was the one who clapped at Lee Jinhee's words. Min Hyunbin found himself being impressed at Lee Jinhee and bit his lips in order to stop them from curving into a smile.

"Moreover, you can not cry or say sorry unless or until I order you to do so. Same goes for bowing to me. After all, I don't want others to say that I'm bullying you," Jinhee voiced out.

Leaning closer to Kwon Youngmi, Lee Jinhee asked, "Did you get that?"

Kwon Youngmi's nails dug into her palm as she tried to control the anger within her. How could someone like Lee Jinhee order her around? Nonetheless, in order for her plans to be successful, Youngmi held it in.

Moving back from Youngmi, Jinhee said, "Or if you wish, you can simply reject it— not that it matters to me."

Youngmi enthusiastically said, "I agree! I completely agree to doing so. So, please agree be my friend."

"That depends on your acting," Jinhee said.

Extending her hand towards Kwon Youngmi, Jinhee waited for Youngmi to accept it. Wearing a bright smile on her face, Youngmi accepted Jinhee's hand and shook it.

Multiple of the students eyes glowered at Lee Jinhee. How could Lee Jinhee do such a heartless thing to their angel? Lee Jinhee was truly a devil in their opinion!

Drawing her hand back, Lee Jinhee was about to walk towards the door when a realization came up to her. Turning her head back— while a smile played upon her face— Jinhee said, "Ah! I almost forgot. Remind your lackeys to create no trouble for me, and you can not absolutely create any rumours for me."

"Okay, Jinhee-ssi," Youngmi answered obediently.

'Lee Jinhee, you must be excited now, but it will last for a short time. Your actions today will lead you to your demise, Lee Jinhee.'

Turning her head, Lee Jinhee walked away from the classroom with Han Taehyun following behind of her. Even though Jinhee had made an enemy out of lot in the class, they would not dare touch her once she is announced at Taeho's fiancée.
