Chapter 186 - Write better

The classes for today were over, and Jinhee was packing her bag when someone walked towards her direction. Raising her head, Jinhee saw Kwon Youngmi standing beside her whilst holding on to Jinhee's notebooks.

Accepting the notebooks from Youngmi's hand using her left hand, Lee Jinhee placed them in her table and flipped through the pages. She was somewhat surprised when she saw everything was written neatly and in an organized manner.

"Write better next time," Jinhee spoke out as she looked at Kwon Youngmi. Nonchalance sat upon her face.

Her words attracted the attention of her fellow classmates, and many of them stared at Jinhee in displeasure. Nonetheless, she did not mind about it. Her classmates hated her in the first place after all.

"Sorry," Youngmi said, "From next time, I will really write nicely."

Lee Jinhee said, "Kwon Youngmi, are you really going against my words? Didn't I say that you can not apologise to me?"

"Look at Lee Jinhee being so arrogant!"

"I can't wait for that bitch to meet her downfall!"

"Youngmi paid so much effort into writing those notes for her yet not a word of thanks left her mouth."

"I have not met anyone as ungrateful as her."

"Youngmi is truly an angel for trying to be friends with her."

"Yes, if it was me, I would have puked at her sight. After all, Lee Jinhee disgusts me."

Jinhee internally scoffed at them for being such hypocrites. Many of their classmates made the easily bullied students write their homeworks for them, and still they dare to say such words. Nonetheless, Lee Jinhee did not expose them.

"So— I won't apologise to you again. Forgive me this time," Youngmi vocalised.

Lee Jinhee nodded as she slowly placed the books in her bag. Han Taehyun wore a smile and held Jinhee's right hand to comfort her the entire time. After Lee Jinhee had packed her bag, Taehyun and Jinhee walked out of the class with Shin Soyeon following after them.

As they were walking on the hallway, Han Taehyun said, "Jinhee-ah, for two to three days, I will have to go somewhere due to some important matters. Don't be too lonely without me."

Han Taehyun raised his hand to pat Jinhee's forehead. Turning towards Han Taehyun, Jinhee asked, "So, you will not be there for the party tomorrow?"

Han Taehyun shook his head, and pinching Jinhee's nose, he said, "As much as I want to be there, sadly, I can not attend. But don't worry. With Shin Soyeon accompanying you, you wouldn't be hurt."

The thought of being without Han Taehyun made Lee Jinhee feel a strangely hollow within herself. Nonetheless, Jinhee would not vocally admit it and nodded her head towards Han Taehyun.

"Be safe," Jinhee said.

Wearing a smile on his face, Taehyun stated, "I will be, and when I return, give me the name of all those who bullied you so that I can bully them back."

Laughing, Jinhee said, "There is no need for you to do that. I can bully others back just fine."

"Aigoo! It seems that my Little Squirrel is turning into a villainness," Taehyun commented.

"Me? A Villainness? I am too sweet to be one. Don't you think I am more suited to be a Female Lead?" Lee Jinhee questioned as she blinked her eyes repeatedly and attempted to do an aegyo towards Taehyun.

Han Taehyun laughed and said, "Aren't female lead supposed to be much more gentler and less harsher towards their admirers?"

"They know how to stand up for themselves when their admirer is bully," Jinhee retorted before sticking her tongue out towards Taehyun.

Taehyun let out a chuckle.

Hearing the knocks on the door, Lee Jinhee stood up and walked towards the door without the crutches. The injury on her right leg was almost healed, and although it hurt slightly, she could walk couple of metres with her right leg.

Whilst wondering who it could be, Lee Jinhee turned the knob and pulled open the door. A surprised gasp left her mouth, and Jinhee wore a wide smile on her face.

"Grandpa Dowon!" Lee Jinhee exclaimed.

Wearing a slight smile on his face, Lee Dowon nodded.

Lee Jinhee said, "Come in, Grandpa Dowon."

Moving away from the door, Lee Jinhee made space for Lee Dowon so that he could enter into the room. Lee Dowon stepped into the room whilst Jinhee closed the door behind him.

"How have you been?" Lee Dowon questioned.

"Completely healthy, and the Han Family is treating me well," Lee Jinhee voiced out as she stood in front of Dowon.

A sharp pain went through Jinhee's right leg. Nonetheless, afraid that Dowon would worry, Lee Jinhee did not let that show upon her face.

"Sit down, Grandfather Dowon," Jinhee said while pointing at the couches in her bedroom.

Lee Dowon sat upon one of the couch, and walking towards him, Jinhee sat down on the couch beside the one Dowon had seated upon.

"Why are you here suddenly, Grandpa Dowon?" Lee Jinhee asked whilst staring at Dowon with curious eyes.

Raising one of his eyebrows, Dowon asked, "Can't I visit my granddaughter?"

"Of course you're allowed to, Grandpa," Jinhee replied after letting out a small chuckle.

"Grandpa Dowon, weren't you supposed to be in abroad?" Jinhee asked, "Did you handle your business over there that fast?"

"No," Dowon replied.

"Then why did you return, Grandfather Dowon? You don't leave your work half completed," Jinhee vocalised.

Lee Dowon said, "My granddaughter is becoming someone's fiancée, and you don't expect me to come? Lee Jinhee, how much cold-hearted do you take me to be?

Folding his arms over his chest, Lee Dowon stared at Jinhee with displeasure being noticeable in his eyes. Rubbing the back of her head, Lee Jinhee let out an awkward laugh before wearing a wide smile on her face.

Holding tightly on to Dowon's arm, Jinhee said, "Of course, I knew that, Grandpa Dowon. I was just teasing you. Don't be angry now, alright?"

Looking at Lee Dowon, Jinhee attempted to do an aegyo, and patting the top of Jinhee's head, Dowon said, "Is that so? Then, why did you not call me and ask for me to be here?"

Putting on a cute expression, Lee Jinhee said, "I really wanted to be here, but, Grandpa Dowon, I thought that you will be busy and, therefore, did not disturb you."

Lee Dowon smiled and said, "Silly Girl, never would I be too busy for you."

Happiness spread through Jinhee, and staring at Lee Dowon with bright eyes, Jinhee asked, "Really?"

Lee Dowon nodded and said, "Of course. After all, you're the only granddaughter I have."

"That makes me happy then. I am lucky to have no other siblings," Jinhee voiced out whilst Lee Dowon shook his head at her words.

"Grandpa Dowon, for how long will you be at South Korea?" Lee Jinhee asked.

"I will be leaving the day after tomorrow. I just came to see how you're doing and to attend the party," Dowon vocalised.

"Now that you've seen me, how do you think I am doing?" Jinhee questioned as she wore a big smile on her face.

"You look just fine, and it seems that you have gained a lot of weight as well," Dowon voiced out.

"Is that so?" Jinhee voiced out whilst pulling away from Lee Dowon.

'It is because that Taehyun is trying his best to fatten me up!'

"It is because of the lack of exercise. I should start on them," Jinhee voiced out.

"At Han Mansion, you look better and much happier. It gives me joy to see you in this way," Dowon voiced out.
