Chapter 188 - Invitation card

After getting scolded for an entire period, both of them were finally permitted to go to the classroom. The two of them were assigned to clean the classroom after everyone left for a week, and if they had any problems against it, they could call their parents to school.

Stepping into the classroom, Jinhee and Hyunbin sat down upon their seats. Their teacher for this class was running late. Remembering about something, Jinhee opened her bag and searched for something.

After finding what she was searching for, Jinhee took it out, and it was two invitation cards. Turning back, Jinhee smiled at Ahn Chaewon and placed down the invitation card on her table.

"What is this, Jinhee?" Chaewon questioned.

"Invitation card for a party at the Han Mansion. Please be there, and I will get someone to pick you," Jinhee said.

"Sure," Chaewon voiced out whilst picking up the invitation card from the table and smiling back at Jinhee.

"Thanks," Jinhee voiced out before she turned to the front.

Tapping on Min Hyunbin's shoulder, Jinhee waited for him to turn back, and when he did, Jinhee held tbe invitation card in front of his face.

Seeing the card, Hyunbin answered, "I am not attending."

Jinhee rolled her eyes and said, "I was not giving this to you either. This is for Ahjusshi and Ahjumma. The party will be ruined if you go there, so it will be better if you don't show up."

Min Hyunbin scoffed and snatched the card from Lee Jinhee's hand. Whilst glaring at Jinhee, Hyunbin vocalised, "Then, I will definitely come in order to ruin this party of yours."

Jinhee chuckled and reminded, "Didn't you say that you won't be attending?"

Lee Jinhee raised one of her eyebrows.

"I said that before. Now, I said that I am attending, so that means I will be attending," Hyunbin voiced out.

"Geez! So arrogant," Jinhee vocalised before her lips curved to a smile.

After sticking his tongue out at Jinhee, Hyunbin was about to turn to the front when Jinhee said, "Don't forget to give this to Ahjumma and Ahjusshi, Hyunbin-ah!"

°°°

Entering into the Han Mansion, Lee Jinhee could see how everyone was busy, arranging things around the mansion, and a bright smile formed on her face. Jinhee had an inkling that the final product would look absolutely marvellous.

Before Jinhee could take a step forward, she felt her hand being pulled by someone, and turning to her left, Jinhee saw Han Jihye. Seeing the pleasant lady, Jinhee bowed.

"Jihye-ssi, everything is looking so beautiful already," Jinhee voiced out.

"I am glad you like it, Jinhee-ah. Now, hurry up. We have to try out lots of dresses," Jihye said.

Although trying out multiple dresses was not something Jinhee fancied, she could not say no to the lovely lady in front of her, and Jinhee nodded. Feeling a sharp pain go through her right leg, Jinhee slowly walked behind Jihye.

"Jihye-ssi, what happened to Taehyun?" Lee Jinhee questioned, "Shouldn't this be an important event for the Han Family?"

Han Jihye stopped, and turning back, Jihye smiled at Jinhee. Jihye then voiced out, "As much as Taehyun wanted to attend this, the situation did not allow him to. Even we can not do anything about this, but don't be disheartened by this."

Lee Jinhee smiled at Han Jihye and said nothing more.

°°°

Entering into the room, Lee Jinhee was astounded by the amount of dresses in the room, and each one of the dresses were more beautiful than the other. Staring across the room, Jinhee could not exactly find which one she was most fond of.

A mirror stood against the light pink wall whilst two maids was present in the room. As Jinhee and Jihye stepped in, both of them politely bowed. On the wall opposite to mirror had number of mannequins standing, and the mannequins were dressed in beautiful clothing.

"Jinhee Dear, choose the one you prefer," Han Jihye vocalised.

Lee Jinhee nodded, and staring at all the dresses around her, Jinhee decided to go with something simple yet elegant. The lilac dress present at the end attracted her attention the most, and Jinhee stepped towards the dress.

The dress had golden roses embellished at the top right corner, and the bottom of the dress had similar golden rose drawn on it as well. The dress had a three quarter sleeve, and a belt sat at the centre of the dress.

"I think I will be going with this, Jihye-ssi," Lee Jinhee voiced out.

Walking towards Jinhee, Han Jihye scanned the dress Jinhee chose and nodded her head in approval. Wearing a smile on her face, Jihye said, "You have a good taste! You can try the dress on now, Jinhee-ah."

"Thank you about it, Jihye-ssi," Lee Jinhee voiced out before she bowed at Han Jihye.

"Don't call me Jihye. Now that you will be my Taeho's fiancée, call me Mother," Han Jihye voiced out.

"Mother?"

°°°

Sitting inside of her room, Lee Jinhee patted her chest slowly in order to calm down her rapid heart beats and sucked in the warm air.

"Hwaiting, Lee Jinhee! You know you can do it! Don't be nervous and faint as a result!" Jinhee mumbled to herself.

That's when Lee Jinhee heard her phone ring, and turning towards her right, Jinhee tried to pick up her phone with her right hand when a sharp pain went through it. In the midst of her anxiousness, Jinhee had forgotten that she had hurt her right hand.

This time, Jinhee picked the phone up with her left hand, and seeing that it was a call from Han Taehyun, a wide smile spread over Jinhee's face. The nervousness was now replaced with an unexplainable joy.

Receiving the call, Jinhee said, "What are you calling me about?"

"No hello? No how are you? Wow! Jinhee-ah, it seems that I really need to teach you," Taehyun vocalised from the other side.

"Well, you see I am absolutely busy at this moment can not bother to waste time in such trivial matters," Jinhee vocalised as she crossed her legs.

Han Taehyun laughed and said, "Is that so? Why do I have an inkling that you're walking around your room whilst being nervous on what to do?"

"I am not walking around," Jinhee voiced out.

"That means I was right about the other part. Anyway, Jinhee-ah, don't be too nervous about it. Just tackle it normally. What can even go wrong? If you don't want to see so many people, just close your eyes or run away. As you're Taeho's soon to be fiancée, no one would dare say anything."

Lee Jinhee laughed and said, "Have you gone crazy, Taehyun? I don't want to turn into a joke."

"I will make sure no one jokes about you then," Taehyun said, "Is that fine?"

"I think I'll be just fine without closing my eyes or running away. I can't have you calling me a coward after all," Jinhee voiced out.

"I am glad to know that my words matter to you. Believe it or not, I know you will do just fine, Jinhee-ah, because it is you," Taehyun stated.

"What type of reasoning is that?" Jinhee asked whilst a light pink blush covered her cheeks.

Taehyun laughed and voiced out, "Enough about that. Now send me a picture of how you look in that beautiful dress of yours."

"I am not doing any such thing," Lee Jinhee replied.

"I'll curse you with bad luck if you don't send me a picture of you now," Taehyun threatened.

Trying to sound scary, Taehyun added, "Trust me, my curses really work."
