Chapter 204 - Date you

Concern sat on Jinhee's face when she saw that Han Taehyun was close to winning. Jinhee knew that she could not let Taehyun get that bunny or else she will be the one who is humiliated.

Lee Jinhee had to do something fast.

Looking all around her, Lee Jinhee tried to search for something that would be able to help her, and that was when an idea came to her mind. Although Jinhee was not sure how it would work, she decided to give it a try.

"I think I have feelings for you and want to try dating you," Lee Jinhee confessed whilst mentally praying that this would cause Taehyun to lose control.

A smile formed on Jinhee's face she saw that Taehyun's was staring at her with a shocked expression, and his grip on the control button loosened, causing the bunny to slip out of the claw.

"W-What did you just say?" Taehyun questioned.

Lee Jinhee clapped both of her hands together and exclaimed, "Heol! I did not expect this to work so well! Taehyun-ah, you've just been fooled!"

Lee Jinhee stuck her tongue out towards Taehyun whilst laughing. The noises from her laughter spread throughout the arcade, while Taehyun's eyes glared at Jinhee. A pout sat on Taehyun's face.

"You're really mean, Jinhee-ah! Do you know that?" Taehyun grumbled.

"Oops! You're the one to be blamed for getting distracted that easily," Jinhee said whilst winking.

"Woah! Jinhee-ah, you're the real cheater here," Taehyun stated.

"But you still love me." Jinhee shrugged her shoulders.

"That I do," Taehyun voiced out, causing a light pink blush to cover Jinhee's cheeks.

"Aish! Let's just try the next game, alright? I want to try the basketball one," Jinhee, wearing s bright smile on her face, said, "This one ended in a draw— zero to zero."

"Currently, you look like the most enthusiastic one. Seeing you happy makes me feel good," Taehyun expressed.

"Stop being this greasy, okay? It is gross at times," Jinhee voiced out.

°°°

"Hoop World," Lee Jinhee read the name in English.

"Wow! Jinhee-ah, your pronunciation in English has improved significantly. You just need to fix your accent slightly," Taehyun stated.

Jinhee smiled at him and said, "Of course! This is me we're talking about."

Han Taehyun patted Jinhee's head, and after a squeal, he exclaimed, "How can one person be this cute!?"

Lee Jinhee scoffed and said, "Stop being this greasy, and let's start playing, alright?"

"Sure, but do you know how to play basketball?" Taehyun questioned.

Pulling her sleeves up to her arm length, Jinhee vocalised, "I don't know. I will just try I suppose."

"Jinhee-ah, no cheating this time around, alright? You don't want to gain the reputation of someone who always cheats, right?" Taehyun asked.

"I don't know. Depends on how I feel when I watch you play. I suppose you can just blame everything on your luck," Lee Jinhee voiced out.

Extending his hand towards Jinhee, Taehyun pinched her nose and said, "Such a fox you're turning into."

Lee Jinhee sighed.

"In order to live with a fox, I have to turn into one. It's all part of adaptation," Jinhee stated.

"A sly wife sounds hot. Han Taehyun approves," Taehyun voiced out whilst winking.

"Why are you this weird?" Jinhee questioned.

Lee Jinhee then added, "It makes me creeped out sometimes and, at other times, urges me to throw up. Stop it, alright?"

Cupping his face with his hand, Han Taehyun blinked his eyes multiple times, and using a cute tone, he questioned, "What do you think about a cute Hyunnie then?"

A laugh left Jinhee's mouth, and with her lips  curving up to form a smile, Jinhee pushed Taehyun's forehead away with her index finger.

"What is wrong with that head of yours? Just play the game, okay?"

"Cute Hyunnie will teach you how to play, alright?" Taehyun voiced out while making a heart with his fingers.

"Cute Hyunnie is giving me the creeps, so please, I beg you to stop it," Jinhee commented.

Taehyun pouted and folded his arms over his chest. Taehyun then voiced out, "You're calling cute Hyunnie creepy? You're such a meanie."

Lee Jinhee said, "I am going to beat you up for real now, Taehyun-ah. Stop it."

Protruding his bottom lip further, Taehyun, whilst wearing a despondent expression, voiced out, "You're going to beat up cute Hyunnie?"

Unable to control herself, Lee Jinhee burst out into laughter. Han Taehyun's attempt to sound cute and his expression made her unable to hold in her laughs.

With his hand, Taehyun made a gun and shot it towards Jinhee. Taehyun then said, "Cute Hyunnie has made it to your heart."

"Since cute Hyunnie is not going first, Meanie Jinnie will go first," Lee Jinhee vocalised.

Moving towards the game, Jinhee inserted the coin and watched as the toy lit up. The scintillating  equipment looked amazing to Jinhee.

"I am going forward," Jinhee declared formally.

Picking up one of the basketballs, Lee Jinhee looked at the hoop and tried to position the ball perfectly before throwing it. Jinhee did not have much experience playing basketball, so she took  a deep breath and threw the basketball.

As the basketball rotated around the hoop, Jinhee felt her heart beating rapidly in her chest and prayed desperately that the ball goes through it. A groan of frustration left Jinhee's mouth when the ball fell down.

Han Taehyun just smiled at Jinhee and said, "Cute Hyunnie will allow you to throw as much as you want until you can get the ball in for your first round as you're inexperienced."

Turning towards Han Taehyun, Jinhee bowed, and in a formal tone, Jinhee said, "I appreciate cute Hyunnie for doing this. I would like it better if cute Hyunnie could keep his mouth shut."

"Meanie Jinnie," Taehyun commented, "Saying such rude words after cute Hyunnie was sweet to you. May karma hit you."

Lee Jinhee simply chuckled and picked up another ball to throw into the hoop.
