"Try this dish, Taehee, dear. It is our chef's speciality," Jiyoung vocalised.
Jinhee was getting tired of how some members of the Lee Family were trying very hard to make a good impression on Taehyun. Staring at her food boredly, she picked up her chopsticks and placed the kimchi inside her mouth.
Han Taehyun sat beside Jinhee, and on his other side was Jiyoung, who was trying her very best to please her. Shin Soyeon sat at one corner of the dining table, and Jinhee introduced her as one of her friends.
Noticing Taehyun's expression, Jinhee could see that he was very close to being annoyed, and that made her feel somewhat pleased.
"Jinhee," Lee Dowon called, who was seated on Jinhee's other side, and hearing his voice, she turned towards him.
"Yes, Grandfather Dowon?" Jinhee vocalised.
"What brings you here today? Wasn't your stay at Han Mansion pleasant?" Dowon questioned.
Her Grandfather Dowon wasn't truly scared of anyone. It somewhat surprised Jinhee how he asked such a question in front of Taehyun. Nonetheless, a small smile formed on her lips at that. Holding his pair of chopsticks, Taehyun turned to look towards Jinhee.
Jinhee shook her head and said, "It is nothing like that, Grandfather Dowon. The deadline for the competition is soon, and I thought that I should be serious about it. I hope you could guide me, and that's why I am here. I want to try out the position for heir of Moonstone Enterprise."
Hearing Jinhee's words, multiple eyes narrowed at her. Nonetheless, appearing unbothered about it, Jinhee stared straight at Dowon. She had to let Minjoon think that she was a threat to him for the plans to succeed.
"Is that so?" Dowon questioned. Jinhee could sense the happiness in his voice, and she felt guilty for that. Nevertheless, this had to be done.
Jinhee took in a deep breath, and after shooting a glance towards Minjoon, she said, "Yes, after all, I am the real heiress to Moonstone Enterprise."
Following her words were a loud sound, and Jinhee could guess that she had astounded them without looking back. Jiyoung and Minjoon had their eyes widened in horror, as the metal spoon had fallen down from Jiyoung's hand.
"What do you mean by those words of yours, Jinhee?" Minjoon asked whilst staring at her sternly.
Looking towards Minjoon, Jinhee smiled at him and said, "Maybe it is something you're most scared of."
"W-What?" Jiyoung stuttered.
"Father, Mother, why do you appear so pale and shaken up? Did I say something scary?" Jinhee questioned whilst feigning obliviousness.
Before any one of them could answer, Yeeun looked towards Jinhee and said, "Jinhee, since you're now Taeho's fiancée, you don't need anything as measly as Moonstone Enterprise. Give it to my Hyunki."
Lee Daeho said, "Hyunki wouldn't do business! He will grow up to be like me and have fun with the ladies! Ladies are more fun than business."
Slapping Daeho's hand, Yeeun vocalised, "How can you say such a thing? My son won't be as useless as you!"
"Aunt, don't worry. After I inherit the business, I will give Hyunki a position that would enable him to earn a lot," Jinhee voiced out.
Minjoon clenched his hand into a tight fist. He hated how Jinhee was referring Moonstone Enterprise as something that belonged to her; He wouldn't let it belong to her.
"Jinhee, if you want the Moonstone Enterprise, you need to get better at studying and improve in other fields as well. Inheriting a business isn't that easy," Minjoon voiced out.
Showing a wide smile towards Minjoon, Jinhee questioned, "Father, do you think that's a hard thing with Taeho's help being present?"
Gritting his teeth and holding in his temper, Minjoon said, "But, Jinhee, you need to think about the welfare of everyone, and a reckless decision can ruin the lives of many people."
Raising one of her eyebrows, Jinhee let out a chuckle and said, "That sounds fancy coming from someone who is really bad when it comes to fashion designing."
"Jinhee, do you hate your father?" Minjoon asked. If Dowon and Taeho weren't present, Minjoon would have lashed out at her and teach her a lesson.
"Father, do you think you deserve my hate? After all, I am the fiance of Taeho, and I have too much on my schedule. I don't have time to hate on insignificant people," Jinhee voiced out.
Extending his hand, Lee Dowon patted Jinhee's head and said, "Eat up now. No need to destroy your mood over such things. You must be really hungry."
Feeling warmth from Dowon's actions, she nodded and looked down at her meals. Seeing how Minjoon's expression darkened, Jinhee had a smirk forming on her face. She was getting under Minjoon's skin. Sooner or later, Minjoon would attack her.

"Are you trying to purposely anger your father?" Taehyun asked.
Both of them sat in front of Jinhee's study table, and currently at this moment, he was teaching her. Looking up, Jinhee stared at Taehyun and nodded in reply to him.
Lee Jinhee found herself trusting him and saw nothing wrong with telling him the truth. Moreover, if Taehyun was involved, maybe she could do everything more smoothly, and Taeho did not say anything against informing him about all this .
"I want to remove Lee Minjoon from his position," Jinhee vocalised.
"So, that's why you are trying to plot against him?" Taehyun raised one of his eyebrows.
Extending his hand towards her, Taehyun patted her head and vocalised, "Good job, My Little Squirrel!"
Shooting Taehyun a confused glance, Jinhee expressed, "You wouldn't ask me why I am doing such a thing? After all, he is my father and—"
Before Jinhee could continue, Taehyun brought his face closer to Jinhee's face and placed a kiss on top of her forehead, surprising her and causing her to shut up. Jinhee's eyes widened.
"Even if you're doing something wrong, I will help you correct it, Jinhee-ah. So, continue doing whatever you want, and treat this as your playground," Taehyun vocalised.
Taehyun's words made a deep red blush form on Jinhee's cheeks, raising her head, Jinhee stared at him. Her heart beat rapidly within her chest and butterflies began fluttering within her stomach.
It felt warm, and Jinhee liked this feeling.
"Aren't you spoiling me way too much? What if I do something that you would really hate one day?" Jinhee asked whilst arching her eyebrows.
"How can I ever hate you, Jinhee? Taehyun wouldn't exist without you," Taehyun vocalised.
"Greasy Taehyun, are you done? Let's study now," Jinhee said whilst staring at the floor and curling up her toes.
Taehyun chuckled and vocalised, "Alright. That's enough for now. I'll shower you with more love once studying is over. Happy?"
Jinhee scoffed and said, "What's there to be happy about? As I said before, too many people want to shower me with love."
"But I am the only one who managed to enter your heart, right? I know my Jinhee isn't that frivolous," Taehyun voiced out.
"Why? My heart is big, and I can share love with many. There's a misconception you have there though. You did not manage to enter my—"
"I was your first kiss, right?" Taehyun questioned.
Jinhee began coughing. She did not know how to answer that question. In this life of hers, he was her first kiss. However, if her previous life was counted then, Taehyun was not her first kiss.
"I have no idea. I keep no count," Jinhee answered. A part within her did not want to answer with 'no' towards Taehyun.
