Chapter 234 - Resolved this matter

After searching around the entire school building, Jinhee hadn't found Min Hyunbin yet, and currently it was the time for lunch. Rooftop is the only place Jinhee hadn't searched at yet.

Walking over to the door of the roof, Jinhee turned the knob and pushed the door open. Behind her was Shin Soyeon, and as Taehyun was called by a teacher, he couldn't follow her.

Noticing that Min Hyunbin was laying down on the ground, a small smile spread across Jinhee's face. She was relieved to see that Hyunbin hadn't done anything dangerous.

With his hands on his forehead, Hyunbin stared at the clouds swimming across the sky. The sunlight peeked through the clouds, and the air around them was quite warm.

Rushing over to Hyunbin, Jinhee had worry filling her at what happened, and sitting down beside him, she vocalised, "What had happened, Hyunbin-ah?"

Finally deciding to acknowledge Jinhee's presence, Hyunbin turned to look towards her and shrugged his shoulders.

He then said, "Nothing much. Just got suspended until the exams are over. That old man can't do anything else other than suspending me. He always uses the same trick. He is too much of a coward to try out other methods."

Noticing the carefree expression on Hyunbin's face, Jinhee felt herself being annoyed, and her eyes glared upon Min Hyunbin. How was he this casual about it.

"That's all you are going to do?" Jinhee asked whilst raising one of her eyebrows.

Staring at Hyunbin in front of her, she felt quite disappointed. The least she thought he would do was find out those who framed him and beat them up.

"Yes," Hyunbin vocalised, "After this is a great opportunity for me! I didn't want to take those ridiculous exams, and now I have an absolutely perfect excuse."

Staring at Hyunbin in front of her, Jinhee said, "You're indeed a loser, Min Hyunbin. Someone is trying to frame you, and you're not even trying to find out who framed you. You are absolutely pathetic at this moment."

Lee Jinhee's words triggered something within Hyunbin; He did not like the tone Jinhee had used with him. Sitting up, Min Hyunbin stared at Jinhee straight in her eyes.

He then questioned, "Why should I go and chase those people now when I am happy with the results?"

"Hold on! Are you really Min Hyunbin? You are really not going to punch or beat up those people who decided to frame you?" Jinhee questioned whilst raising one of her eyebrows.

She had a hard time absorbing the situation in front of her. Seeing Hyunbin being cool headed in this situation clearly managed to shock her, and that shock reflected upon her face.

Hyunbin scoffed and pointed out, "I never said that I wouldn't be beating them up. I'll break each pieces of their body after this bloody exams are over.

Because of them, I am able to take these exams now. Isn't this an incredible thing? There is no way I am going to make a foolish decision such as finding them now."

Hearing Min Hyunbin's words, Jinhee started to grow more annoyed, and staring at him, she expressed, "Whether or not you approve of it, Min Hyunbin, I will make you take all of the exams. You can have my word for that."

°°°

Taking in a deep breath, Jinhee knocked on to the wooden door and waited for the permission to enter into the room. Han Taehyun— who insisted about following her— stood behind Jinhee.

"Come in."

Hearing those words, Jinhee pulled open the door and stepped into the room. Wearing a wide smile, Taehyun entered the room.

Noticing Han Taehyun, the Principal's eyes widened, and he stood up. The Principal continued staring at Taehyun whilst Taehyun's eyes were upon Jinhee.

"What may I help you with?" The Principal questioned in a formal tone.

Jinhee wasn't entirely sure on what happened. The entire details were not exposed, and Hyunbin was not willing to say anything on this matter. Even Taehyun was clueless on the entire thing.

So far, the only thing Jinhee had understood was that almost the entire school thinks that Hyunbin had stolen their upcoming exam's paper from an evidence.

Han Taehyun casually stepped towards the couch and sat upon it. Jinhee walked closer to the Principal's desk.

She then vocalised, "Principal, I want to know about what happened with Min Hyunbin earlier."

"He was caught stealing papers, and he isn't allowed to give exams now," The Principal voiced out.

"Is there any sort of evidence for that?" Jinhee asked whilst raising one of her eyebrows.

The Principal coughed and said, "There is a CCTV footage which confirms it, and if you're done inquiring, it would be best for you to return to your class now, Student."

"The CCTV footage— I want to see it," Jinhee voiced out— resolution noticeable in her tone.

The Principal was specifically told by the higher-ups to not reveal the evidence to anyone other than mentioned few, and although Jinhee was Taehyun's fiancée, the higher-ups held more power than her currently. The Principal was too afraid of getting on their bad side.

"Look, Student, the CCTV footage isn't something which can be shown that easily upon request, and it would be better for you to return to class now. The day for today is not over yet," The Principal voiced out in a strict tone.

"I want to see it, and check whether or not it is fairly judged. If the CCTV footage was enough evidence to withdraw Hyunbin from the exams, then you wouldn't have any problems in showing it to us, right?" Jinhee arched her eyebrows.

Feeling frustrated at Jinhee's persistence, the Principal vocalised, "Student, Min Hyunbin did not have any problems with this, so why are you insisting further? This doesn't concern you in any way."

Jinhee scoffed and voiced out, "So, you resolved this matter with merely confirmation from that Min Hyunbin? That boy is definitely happy with the outcome as he wants to skip the exams!"
