"I'll take a look at it tonight then; Bring it to my office," Lee Dowon vocalised, causing the smile on Jinhee's face to widen.
Glancing towards Lee Minjoon, Jinhee smirked at him for a second, which was not missed by Minjoon and reminded him of the urgency of the situation once again.
Then, looking towards Lee Hyunki, Jinhee asked, "What about you, Hyunki? How far have you gone with the design?"
Before Lee Hyunki could say anything, his mother, Lee Yeeun, said, "Of course, my son had finished the entire thing, and not only one, he had done five of them— each one being more beautiful than the other. I am sure he will be beating everyone with his talent."
Lee Hyunki seemed to embarrassed at Lee Yeeun's words, and staring at Jinhee, he answered, "Noona, I have done some, but none of them are satisfactory yet to submit."
"You should put your best into it then, Hyunki, and don't be in hurry! After all, this is an important thing, and good luck!" Lee Jinhee raised her thumb towards Hyunki to which Hyunki nodded.
"I am pretty sure Noona has done well," Hyunki said as a shy smile sat on his face.
Lee Jinhee said nothing to those words of his and continued eating her food whilst thinking of ideas on how to provoke Lee Minjoon further. Should she directly say him on how she knows about everything?
She had indirectly pointed out to him on how he knows that multiple number of times, and by now, he must have guessed about it. Nevertheless, Jinhee was clueless on how to make Minjoon take a move against her.
Then, looking towards Lee Dowon, Jinhee smiled at him and said, "About letting me have a position after the exams are over, what is your opinion on it, Grandfather Dowon?
Taeho works hard from this age, and in order to match up with him, I need to do the same. That's why, I can help out in the business at times and learn some things."
"It is too soon for you to do so," Minjoon vocalised, "You need to enjoy highschool before thinking about working. Since your parents are here, you don't need to worry on such matters, and with Han Taeho, it is different. He is in a different level from us so you don't have to compare to him."
Feigning a sweet tone, Jinhee stared at Minjoon innocently and said, "Father, I am his fiancée now, so that makes me on a similar level as him. But I guess it could be a different matter for you."
Lee Jinhee was clearly pointing out where Lee Minjoon stood, and that was very much far away and below from Jinhee. Noticing the smug expression in Jinhee's eyes intensified the anger within Minjoon.
Under his eyes, this girl had grown to change this much, and he was not able to notice what influenced that. This made him feel more irritated.
"Y-Yes, I suppose that is the case, but I just want you to relax and not pressure you," Lee Minjoon voiced out.
"Is that so, Father?" Lee Jinhee asked.
Lee Jinkyung did not want to start working at such a young age, and after how she had boasted on how the Moonstone Enterprise belonged to her, this would just embarrass her further.
Moreover, she did not exactly care about the company; She merely wanted Kim Junghyun. Nonetheless, knowing his mother, she knew that she would not be approved of unless or until she becomes the heiress to the Moonstone Enterprise.
Therefore, if Jinhee had to go, Jinkyung had to follow by as well when she could perfectly use her time to make Kim Jaehyun fall for her. After what happened the last time, she still felt humiliated.
"Of course, your father and I care for you a lot, Dear," Lee Jiyoung said, "I apologise if I made you think otherwise."
Widening her smile, Jinhee propped her face upon her hand and questioned, "Then, can I get some shares of the Moonstone Enterprise as an early birthday present?"
Although this was a lie, Jinhee added, "Grandfather Dowon already promised to hand me some of his shares. What about you, Father, Mother? I wouldn't need to go working if I get some shares."
Lee Dowon's words made him narrow his eyes on Jinhee. Nonetheless, he spoke out nothing against her words for he was aware that Jinhee had something in her mind; He could simply discuss about it with her later on.
In addition to that, he would not mind handing down some shares to him. If she had showed interest in his business, this would mean a great thing to him.
Nonetheless, her words did not please Lee Minjoon, Jiyoung, or Jinkyung as it did to Lee Dowon. Surprised, they had their eyes widened.
"Shares? Isn't it too early for you to be concerned with that? Lee Jinhee, it is better for you to concentrate at school at this point," Minjoon vocalised.
Shrugging her shoulders, Jinhee vocalised, "Well, if you don't want to give them to me, it doesn't matter to me. Taeho could easily buy them for me, and since I am the rightful heiress, it is never too early for me."
The smile on Minjoon's face disappeared, and his displeasure could easily be seen on his face. Jinhee had finally managed to get him to reveal his true self from that tough exterior he put up, and she was confident that she would be able to do more.
"Lee Jinhee, don't talk about such nonsense during breakfast, and concentrate on studying. If you are a failure at school, you can not be a good heiress. So, currently, pay attention to studies," Minjoon vocalised.
Minjoon's words caused a chuckle to leave Jinhee's mouth, and raising one of her eyebrows whilst an amused expression sat within her eyes, she questioned, "Father, could it be that you're panicking at this moment?"
She then added, "Judging from your voice, that seems to be the case at this moment."
