Stretching her arms, Jinhee walked towards the direction of the dining table, and a small smile sat on her face. She was determined to let that smile stay on that face; There was no way she was going to let that be wiped away from her mouth.
Pulling her chair back, Jinhee took a seat next to Taehyun. Lee Jinhee had sent Soyeon back for there was barely any use for her, and although Taehyun had insisted on it, Jinhee could not agree about it.
She was sure that it was not proper for her to keep Soyeon here, and she might have important things to handle at Taeho's place. When it came to Jinkyung, Jinhee knew that she will be able to go past them without a bodyguard.
Moreover, Taehyun was there beside her, and although she would never admit it in front of him, that man had a lot of skills as well. Taehyun alone would be enough to keep her protected.
Jinhee saw the smiling expression on Jiyoung's, Jinkyung's, and Youngchul's face, and she could definitely guess the reason behind it. Her second uncle's family went to a trip.
Lee Jinkyung was invited to go to a ball with Taeho, and although Jinhee was not interested in that part, she was curious on what Taeho had in mind for Jinkyung.
Even though Jinhee should hate Taeho with passion, she had neutral feeling when it came to him, and at times, she thought that Taeho was quite pathetic.
He did all of this things for a girl yet until the end, she did not give a care towards him. Now, because of how unfair he had found it, he wanted to destroy Jinkyung.
Regardless of how twisted this was, it did not bother Jinhee for as long as she got her part of the deal perfectly, other things were not any of her business. Taeho could do anything he wanted for revenge.
After all, this was his second chance, and second chances are not given out on regular basis. He should live it to the fullest and make it so that he is not remained with any regrets.
Taehyun nudged at her, and turning her head to look at him, he noticed that he was giving her a questioning look. Jinhee shook her head at him.
Holding her pair of chopsticks, Jinhee picked up a piece of meat, and after dipping it in some type of sauce, she placed the meat inside her mouth. The meat was delicious and soft, and Jinhee had a difficult time holding in a m.o.a.n.
Turning towards Han Taehyun, she smiled at him and vocalised, "Heol, Taehee! You should be giving the meat a try! I swear this is really good!"
Hearing Jinhee's enthusiasm in her voice, a chuckle left Taehyun's mouth, and he questioned, "Is that so?"
Jinhee nodded and said, "Of course, it is. Are you actually doubting me?"
Lee Jinhee's goal for today was to keep smiling through the entire time, and regardless of how the Lee family will be acting towards her, she was resolute to keep that smile upon her face.
Shaking his head, Taehyun vocalised, "That's not it, Jinhee-ah. If it is that good, keep on eating more. You look really adorable when you are eating food."
Scrunching up her nose towards Taehyun, Lee Jinhee let out a giggle, and she vocalised, "What is with those sudden words of yours? Eat up fast. We have to go outside, and there are lots of things to do."
Taehyun nodded his head.
"Will you be attending the party tonight?" Jiyoung questioned, causing Jinhee to whip her head towards her direction.
Shrugging her shoulders, Jinhee said, "You will be figuring out about it once you are there."
"I am warning you, Lee Jinhee," Jiyoung threatened, "If dare to create any trouble for Jinkyung, then—"
"You will not be sparing me?" Jinhee raised one of her eyebrows.
She then added, "I have noted that. Thanks. Now, please do not ruin my pleasant morning or else au I might ruin the night for your daughter, Jiyoung-ssi."
Lee Jinkyung scoffed and said, "Are you jealous that Taeho chose me instead of you? Taking in how you are, it is not surprising that he was fed up with you."
Lee Jinhee chuckled, and looking towards Han Taeho, Jinhee asked, "Can you ask the idiot to shut herself up?"
She then continued, "I will be losing my rationality if I continue to talk to such idiots, and also remind her to leave credits after those sentences. It seems to me as if she was impersonating some other idiot like her."
Lee Jinhee's words made Jinkyung feel annoyed, and this was not the type of reaction Jinkyung expected from Jinkyung. Pulling her hand into a tight fist, Jinkyung tried her best to hold in her temper.
Although Youngmi was defeated, it was because if how foolish Youngmi, and Jinkyung had Taeho with her. Jinkyung had an inkling on how Taehyun was going to humiliate Jinhee tremendously today, and she was waiting for that to happen.
After all that Jinhee made her go through, in Jinkyung's opinion, she deserved to go through worse. However, as Jinkyung held mercy, she will not be going that hard on Jinhee.
Jinhee's words elicited laughs from Taeho, and he said, "Who is that idiot? I can't tell these to the idiot without having an idea about who the idiot was."
Scrunching up her nose towards Taeho, Jinhee scoffed at him, and then as a smile gradually formed on her face, she questioned, "Are you trying to irritate me on purpose?"
She then added, "After all, in this dining table, it is quite easy to identify who the idiot. It is neither you or me, and the rest will be easy to figure out."
Hearing those words agitated Lee Youngchul, and he slammed his hand on top of the table. An irked expression sat on his face.
"Where are your manners, Lee Jinhee?" He asked.
Flashing a grin at the old man, Jinhee voiced out, "Control yourself, Youngchul-ssi. You do not want to end up at the hospital again."
