Chapter 285 - Mean Girlfriend

Seeing Han Taehyun wipe his face after walking out of the washroom, Jinhee laughed and said, "That was funny. You have to admit that."

"No, that was not at all funny, but Jinhee-ah, I will truly show you what is funny if you keep this up," Taehyun threatened in a light-hearted manner.

After she had slammed that ice-cream on top of Taehyun's face, it dripped down his entire face, and she could see that he was entirely shocked. 

The next thing he did was run off to the girl's washroom, and the sight was something she will be forever remembering. After all, she did not get to see Taehyun in such a state on a regular basis.

Jinhee scoffed and stated, "Han Taehyun, this is just the beginning. I am planning to humiliate you more in the future. After Jinkyung will be over, you will be my target, so be ready for that."

A chuckle left Taehyun's mouth at Jinhee's words, and halting in his steps, he turned to look towards her. Extending his hand, Taehyun touched the top of Jinhee's head and patted on top of it softly.

"A little girl like you bullying me? Dream on, Jinhee-ah! Both of us know that is not possible," Taehyun stated as he strided forward.

After shooting a glare at Taehyun's back, Jinhee ran behind him, and after slamming his hand on his back, which created a loud noise, she hugged his back with one of her hands.

"Very well then, Taehyun. We will be seeing about that. Just don't come to me crying later on. I really can not bear that," Jinhee stated as a bored expression formed on her face.

She then added, "Even though it is difficult for you to act like a man, please try to do that or else it would not be giving me any enjoyment; It would make me feel as if I am bullying some weakling."

Han Taehyun chuckled and vocalised, "You are really good at bluffing and bragging, Jinhee-ah, when both of us know that you do not have the talent to achieve so. But keep on doing it. Maybe you will be meeting someone who will mistakenly believe you in the future."

As mock showed on Jinhee's face, she asked, "Is that your way of pretending to be brave?"

She then added, "Considering how you're on a relationship with me and madly in love with me coupled with how many times you attempted to help me— even though they were not needed and turned out to be unnecessary— I guess I will go easy on you. Holding back is not a habit of mine, but I will try to do it."

Jinhee's face showed mock towards Taehyun, which caused couple of laugh to escape from Taehyun's mouth, and he said, "You have a habit of letting people down, so I do not know whether or not to believe those words of yours, Jinhee-ah."

"Tch! That's a lie right there. I never let down people, and it is their fault for having that much of an expectation from me in the first place. What do they take me for? Some supernatural creature?"

Finding the expression on Jinhee's face absolutely endearing at this moment, Taehyun brought his face closer to Jinhee's and placed a small peck on top of her lips, taking her by utter surprise.

Her eyes widened when she turned her head to face Taehyun, and after letting out a laugh, Taehyun said, "Since you are this cute, I guess I can let you bully me. After all, getting bullied by someone like you will be considered an honour for me."

After letting out couple of giggles, Jinhee vocalised, "I wish Youngmi and Jinkyung had similar mindset as you. That would have just made things much easier."

Extending his hand towards her, Taehyun pulled Jinhee into a tight hug and said, "That is why you should be treasuring me and treating me with love. I am really one of a kind."

"If you mean one of a kind of a trouble, then sure. I agree along with you, Han Taehyun," Jinhee replied, "Ever since you have entered into my life, peace was not known to me, and now that I am allowing you to stay inside it, I know that there will be no sign of peace in the future as well."

As Han Taehyun protruded his bottom lips forward, a pout formed on his face, and staring at the ground, he fidgeted with his fingers. 

Then, he said, "You are being mean again, Jinhee-ah."

Seeing Han Taehyun like that made Jinhee's eyes widen, and she found him appearing to be absolutely endearing at that moment. Her heart began to beat rapidly within her chest. Her cheeks began to heat up at that moment.

Nevertheless, Jinhee controlled the expression on her face and coughed. She then voiced out, "Well, you are the one who decided to date a mean lady, so I guess you have to deal with it. If you can't do that, then I can not do anything about it."

Lee Jinhee folded her arms across her chest and looked the other way. Han Taehyun's cute self right now was starting to give problems to her heart, and Jinhee preferred to avoid that at this moment.

"Why are you looking away then, Mean Girlfriend? Is it because you are dazzled by me?" Taehyun questioned, earning Jinhee's attention.

Turning to look towards Taehyun, Jinhee scoffed at him, and before she could respond, she felt a soft pair of lips on top of hers. Nonetheless, liking the feel of Taehyun's lips against hers, Jinhee made no move to pull away from them.

Then, the thought of how the two of them were outside hit Jinhee, and widening her eyes, she moved away from Taehyun. She did not want to be in the news for kissing a girl, and looking around the park, she let out a sigh. 

There was no one around them. It looked as if Han Taehyun too was cautious about the entire thing, and this made Jinhee felt relieved.
