Walking out of the coffee shop, Lee Jinhee wore a bright smile on her face, and while her eyes looked at the sun in the distant sky, her hand held on to a cup of warm coffee.
Third chance— that was Lee Jinhee was gifted with, and initially, that had surprised Jinhee a lot. Nevertheless, she was extremely thankful to it.
This time she was not born into the riches. There were no Kwon Youngmi or Lee Jinkyung in her life neither was there any Kim Jaehyun or Han Taehyun present.
Her life was completely normal, and she was happy with it. Although her family struggled with finances at times, she had a happy family.
She had a loving father and a caring mother. Along with that, she also had a cute little brother, Min Hyunbin— who was the same when as her last lives.
Although she missed Han Taehyun's absence now and then, and wondered about how or where she was currently, she was living well in this life of hers.
There were no evil family or enemies in this life if hers, and maybe at times, Jinhee was not able to afford things she really wanted or the food was not of the best quality. However, those did not matter to Jinhee.
She had to start working part-time from a young age, and although at times it could get tiring for her, she was aware that she had a perfect family back at her home who was ready to comfort her through everything.
Her school life was not problematic either, and Jinhee had a decent amount of friends there. She got along well with people around her, and she created a good deal of memories in this life of hers.
Before Jinhee could walk away, the door behind her opened, and a girl ran out through it. Then, that girl moved towards Jinhee and held on to her hand tightly.
Turning her head, Jinhee looked at the girl holding her hand. The girl reached up to Jinhee's shoulder and seemed to be very cute with that pout on her lips.
Her bottom lip was protruded forward while she did an aegyo on her face, and she voiced out, "Jinhee, you are really mean! How could you leave without me?"
"Eunmi-ah, you are really annoying, and that's why, I did not want to bring you along to the camping, but I guess now you are going to hang along," Jinhee said as a sigh left her mouth.
A teasing expression sat at Jinhee's eyes after she had uttered those words, and the pout on Eunmi's face became more evident.
"Jinhee, you are really, really, really mean. But regardless of what you say, I will be going along. Your brother is really cute, and I want to spend more time with me. Do you think he likes me a little by now?"
Extending her hand towards Eunmi, Jinhee softly pinched the top of her nose and vocalised, "No, that's not what he thinks. According to him, Eunmi Noona is creepy, and he wants to run away from her."
Letting out a chuckle, Jinhee then added, "Even dad can't frighten him as much you do, Eunmi."
Those words from Lee Jinhee caused a pout to form on Eunmi's face, and she spoke out, "I am not scary. It is just that my Dear Hyunbin is too shy to express his feelings. But don't worry; I will train him properly."
"Geez! Eunmi, you are indeed creepy," Jinhee commented.
Hearing those words from Jinhee made Eunmi voice out, "If you really keep on teasing me at this moment, Jinhee, I will start crying, and then, it will take you years to console me."
Shin Eunmi was someone Jinhee had become friends with in her elementary, and the girl's outgoing personality made it easy for Jinhee to become close to her.
Jinhee confided about all of her troubles to Eunmi and vice versa. The only secret Eunmi was not aware of was her rebirth.
"Okay, okay, I would not tease you further, Eunmi," Jinhee stated, "Now, go and get your backpack ready. I will be waiting for you at our hangout spot."
Hearing those words of Lee Jinhee made Eunmi's eyes widen with joy, and extending her hand towards Jinhee, Eunmi pulled her into a tight hug. The wide smile on Eunmi's face showed how happy she was with the outcome.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you so much, Jinhee-ah. I really love you," Eunmi voiced out.
Pulling away from the hug, Eunmi placed her lips on top of Jinhee's cheeks and kissed her. A disgusted expression formed on Jinhee's face at that. Nevertheless, Eunmi did not appear bothered by that.
"I will be hurrying up then, Jinhee! Just half an hour," Eunmi vocalised before she ran away towards the other way.
Seeing the endearing girl, Lee Jinhee let out a chuckle and shook her head. She was truly adorable at times.
At that time, something caught her eyes, and the smile on Jinhee's face disappeared in that instant. It was the silhouette of someone Jinhee was very much familiar with, and her heart began to beat rapidly within her chest.
'It can't be.'
Without a second thought, Jinhee began to ran towards that figure, and before that person could go away, Jinhee grabbed his wrist in order to prevent him from doing so.
When that man turned back, Jinhee's hopes weren't crushed. It was him indeed; All of his features looked exactly the same. Tears formed at the corner of her eyes.
The man looked at her with shock, and then, staring at her, those eyes of his softened. A small smile formed on those lips of his.
As nervousness brewed up within Jinhee, she mustered up her courage to voiced out, "Do you want to go on a small date with me, Han Taehyun?"
"Yes, Jinhee, yes," he answered.
Upon hearing those words from him, Jinhee pulled him into a tight hug while tears continued to fall down her eyes.
Her life was perfect now.
