Chapter 159 - Absolutely Ungrateful

After spending time with Han Taehyun, Lee Jinhee felt extremely tired, and she had no difficulty falling asleep whilst cursing at Han Taehyun the entire time inside her mind.

Hearing the knocks on her door, Jinhee groaned, and creases appeared both of her eyebrows. She was having a good dream at this moment. Who could it actually be to interrupt her sleep?

Pulling the blanket closer to her, Lee Jinhee covered her ears in order to block the sound. However, knocking on the door got louder, and the rate increased.

Irritated, Jinhee voiced out, "I'll get up later!"

Silence surrounded her after that, and Lee Jinhee felt peace at that moment. As sleep was about to take her over again completely, it was disrupted once again.

"JINHEE-AH, GET UP AND HAVE BREAKFAST! DON'T YOU REMEMBER THAT YOU HAVE TO GET FAT AND MAKE ME DISLIKE YOU?"

Lee Jinhee cried out, "Why? Why? Why do I have to hear the annoying voice so early in the morning?"

As Lee Jinhee was about to retort, she recalled that she was giving him the silent treatment, and although Lee Jinhee felt drowsy, she yawned whilst getting out of the bed. Thinking about breakfast, hunger spread through Jinhee.

"Jinhee, you can go back to sleeping after breakfast," Jinhee mumbled to herself.

"ARE YOU AWAKE YET, JINHEE-AH?" Taehyun yelled again.

Hearing such a loud voice so early in the morning was annoying to Lee Jinhee, and letting out a sigh, Lee Jinhee grabbed her crutches. Supporting herself on them, Jinhee walked towards the direction of the door in order to open them.

She was aware that as long as she doesn't give him a response or open the door, he'll stay here and irritate her to the maximum. Unlocking the door, Jinhee turned the knob and pulled open the door.

Han Taehyun's hair were neatly brushed, and his bangs fell upon his forehead as usual. A smile expressing his joy was placed upon his face whilst Jinhee stared at him with bored eyes.

"Good morning, Jinhee-ah! Did you sleep well?" Taehyun asked.

Yawning, Jinhee turned her back on Han Taehyun, and with the help of crutches, Jinhee walked towards the washroom.

"Wow! Not even a good morning," Taehyun enunciated.

Stepping closer to Lee Jinhee, Taehyun stood in front of her and stared at Jinhee's face for a few seconds. The entire time Jinhee stayed silent and continued to look at him with nonchalance present in her eyes.

Han Taehyun moved his face closer to Jinhee, and raising her hand, Jinhee held it against Han Taehyun's face. Using her strength, she pushed his face back.

"Are you actually giving me the silent treatment, Little Squirrel?" Han Taehyun raised one of his eyebrows.

Giving him no answer, Lee Jinhee continued to stare at him before she moved to the right and walked towards the direction of the bathroom.

Amus.e.m.e.nt flashed in Han Taehyun's eyes as he commented, "Interesting."

Turning back, Han Taehyun saw that Jinhee was about to enter into the bathroom and voiced out, "Lee Jinhee, within twenty fours, I'll make you talk to me."

Lee Jinhee tilted her head to look at Han Taehyun and simply stuck out her tongue at him before entering into the washroom.

'Twenty four hours? Let him try that then!'

°°°

Sitting on the breakfast table, Lee Jinhee ate the scrumptious pancakes placed in front of her, and she noticed the difference between the pancakes on her and Taehyun's plate. There were two on hers whilst Taehyun had four on his.

As Jinhee finished two of her pancakes, she found her stomach still not full, but she did not utter a word to ask for another pancake. After all, more than a half empty stomach her pride mattered at this moment.

Han Taehyun raised his head to look at Jinhee, and after swallowing down the pancake, he questioned, "Do you want more?"

Thinking about her stomach, Lee Jinhee nodded. Lee Jinhee decided not to talk to him— showing any kinds of actions towards him was not included.

"Add a please and I'll bring them for you," Han Taehyun said.

Lee Jinhee smirked. If he thought that this was enough to make her talk, then he was simply too naive.

Taking out her phone, Jinhee searched for his number, and when she found it, she pressed on the chat sign beside his number. After that, she texted something on the phone and sent it to Han Taehyun.

"Please, Taehyun, get me more pancakes."

At that instant, Han Taehyun's phone vibrated, and as he took out his phone, Lee Jinhee stared at Han Taehee whilst wearing a smile on her face. Reading the message, Taehyun shook his head, and a wide smile formed on Taehyun's face.

Raising his head up, Taehyun pinched Lee Jinhee's nose tenderly, which caused Jinhee to scrunch up her nose, and said, "Alright. You win this time. It seems that you're not that stupid after all."

'I was not stupid in the first place.'

Nonetheless, Jinhee did not voice those thoughts out loud and watched as Han Taehyun got up before walking towards the direction of the kitchen.

The maids and butlers were dismissed for today as well, and Taehyun's parents were not home for today. Lee Jinhee had no idea when they would be returning.

School started from tomorrow, and nervousness brewed up within Jinhee when she thought about it. Kwon Youngmi would be joining the school soon, and at school, she still had to deal with Im Jieun.

Han Taehyun returned with the pancakes soon, and after placing the warm pancakes on her plate, Han Taehyun sat down on his chair. Lee Jinhee looked down at the pancakes and started eating them.

"Not even a thank you? Wow! Jinhee-ah, you're absolutely ungrateful," Taehyun commented.

Ignoring Han Taehyun's words, Lee Jinhee continued to eat, and watching Jinhee eat the food he made deliciously bought immense satisfaction to Taehyun. If he could, he'd cook food for Lee Jinhee forever.

"Ah! Jinhee-ah, I'll be busy with some work at the study room, and it will probably take hours for me. If you need anything, just call me. In your case, just text me. Alright?" Han Taehyun stated.

Lee Jinhee simply nodded her head.
