Chapter 6

C6 – The Standard Answer Was Wrong!

Everyone was watching the exam paper, and all of them had different expressions on their faces as they saw the almost perfect answers.

Was this the paper with perfect scores?

Sure enough, it looked extremely comfortable. The paper was clean and tidy, and it was neat and tidy. Even the last few questions were analyzed flawlessly.

“Lachlan, you made a mistake in the third question of the last question. To be honest, this question is a bit difficult. It’s not surprising that you can’t answer it,” Lucille said.

Lachlan shook her head.

“No, Ms. Collins, take a closer look at the standard answer. The last step of the answer has to be applied to calculus equations. There was a formula that was used incorrectly, causing the final result to be wrong.”

Calculus?

Everyone was stunned once again.

What was calculus?

It was a subject that could not be touched upon in high school textbooks.

Lachlan pointed out the equations and placed them in front of Lucille.

She frowned, and her mind was constantly calculating.

A few minutes was like a century.

Everyone held their breath, waiting for Lucille’s answer.

After all, she was the one who gave the question, and she was also an outstanding teacher at Ellsworth University.

Her words represented authority!

Finally, Lucille exhaled heavily. The way she looked at Lachlan became even more passionate.

“Lachlan, your answer is correct. The standard answer is wrong.”

Lucille’s words were like a huge rock smashing into the calm surface of a lake, instantly causing thousands of ripples.

“The standard answer for the joint examination is wrong?”

“Isn’t Lachlan too amazing? His knowledge is too high!”

“From now on, Lachlan will be the target of my life.”

“Mission accomplished, rewarded special skill: Reading a hundred lines at a glance!”

“Student Lachlan, you really make me admire you. Everyone applauds and encourages him once again.”

The homeroom teacher couldn’t help but praise Lachlan. She was incomparably excited in her heart.

Lachlan was her student. If she could teach such a genius, her position in the school would naturally rise.

She looked at Lachlan. He was not a student, but a shining treasure.

“Lachlan, I will discuss this matter with the leader of the bureau before giving you an answer. Can you leave me your contact information?”

Lucille had lost the bet and did not mention anything about the recommendation.

Because she felt that Lachlan was more outstanding than she had imagined, she could only make plans for the future.

At this point, everyone realized that they had been too complacent just now.

The family of Julius was rich and powerful. How could ordinary students like them offend him?

Previously, there was a young man who offended Julius. In the end, this student dropped out of school halfway and disappeared without a trace.

They did not want to repeat the same mistake!

Julius swept his gaze across the crowd, not daring to look him in the eye.

He smiled disdainfully, “Even if I lose, so what? Even if my results are not as good as Lachlan’s, so what? You all still have to swallow your pride!”

“Marvin, were you trying to provoke him just now?”

Marvin smiled bitterly. He did not expect that he would be targeted by Julius.

He broke out in a cold sweat and shook his head, “No!”

“Jose, what did you just say?”

“I didn’t say anything. Young Master Hart.”

“I don’t think you guys would dare!”

Following that, Julius looked at Lachlan and let out a cold snort. He turned around and walked out of the classroom.

“Wait, are you not going to honor your bet?” Lachlan said slowly, without the slightest hint of fear.

“Is Lachlan a fearless fool? He is offending Julius!”

“He might not have realized the power of the Hart family yet.”

“The Hart family has a billion worth of assets. Even if you use money, you can still crush Lachlan to death.”

“Lachlan, are you sure you want me to call you daddy?”

Julius’s eyes were filled with undisguised anger.

He never thought that Lachlan would actually dare to humiliate him in front of everyone.

“Please begin your performance!”

“Why should I listen to you?” Julius’ mouth revealed a hint of disdain.

“Because you lost!” Lachlan said.

Julius shook his head. “I don’t remember any bets, and I never bet with you. I advise you not to make things up.”

At this time, everyone finally realized that there was only a verbal bet between Lachlan and Julius, and there was no binding force.

Now that Julius was dead, no one could do anything to him!

“Young Master Hart, you really did not disappoint me. You are still as shameless as ever. Everyone in the class can see what happened, but you can casually deny it.”

“I didn’t do it, so why should I admit it?”

Julius had a calm expression on his face. He acted very shamelessly, and no one could do anything about it.
