C11 – A Super Fast Reading Speed

Lachlan frowned slightly.

Cameron was showing a lot of hostility towards him.

Lachlan would not back down, so he asked, “Who are you?”

Cameron smiled confidently and said, “My name is Lachlan, and I am the chairman of the History Department of Ellsworth University. I was admitted into the department with the first place in the exam. I feel a little nostalgic when I think about it.”

Lachlan curled his lips and said, “I remember that the History Department of Ellsworth University is not very famous in the country. The threshold to enter is very low. Did you get 500 or 600 points?”

“580 points.” Cameron slightly raised his head, looking slightly arrogant.

Although the History Department of Ellsworth University was not very famous, it was one of the top five universities in the country.

He was full of superiority when he was admitted into Ellsworth University.

“You scared me to death. I thought you got 780 points.” Lachlan said in disdain.

Juliette smiled quietly. “Senior Brother Snyder, you might not know this, but Lachlan scored the first place in the entire city with a score of 748 points in the six school joint examination. Lucille, the teacher of Ellsworth University, has sent him an invitation to be a graduate.”

“As long as Lachlan wants, he can pick any subject in the history department of Ellsworth University.”

Cameron’s face was filled with disbelief.

He did not expect that Lachlan’s results would be so outstanding.

However, he would not admit that he was worse than Lachlan. He snorted and said, “Who knows if it’s true or not? You are my friend, so you can spout nonsense.”

At this time, a few exclamations sounded from beside Lachlan.

“You are Lachlan from Ellsworth High School? Hello, I am a teacher from Jing University. I wonder if you have time to chat with me? If Ellsworth University can give you a recommendation, our school can also do the same.”

“I am a teacher from Oak Hills University. Our school can also give you a recommendation. Do you have time to chat with me?”

“I am a teacher from a vocational school. Can we chat?”

“You are from a special school. Do you want to compete for the first place in the whole city?”

Seeing Lachlan’s surprise, Julius explained, “This place is filled with the best teachers and students in the country. It’s not surprising that they are here.”

Cameron looked at the crowd surrounding Lachlan. He was very jealous.

Most importantly, he felt that Lachlan’s identity was fake. This made him lose face.

“Senior Brother Snyder, I wonder if Lachlan is qualified to organize the history books now?” Julius asked indifferently.

Cameron could already hear the displeasure in Julius’s tone. He would not stop her, but he secretly hated Lachlan.

Lachlan stared into Julius’s eyes and said in a deep voice.

Juliette’s face turned red. She lowered her head shyly, her heart beating wildly.

In his eyes, Lachlan was not editing, but just randomly drawing. Lachlan’s speed of flipping through the pages was too fast.

“Look, Mr. Talbot is here.”

At this moment, an old man in a Tang suit slowly walked over.

His clothes were simple, and his every move revealed the scholarly air.

“Hello, Mr. Talbot!”

“Hello, Mr. Talbot!”

Almost all the scholars stood up and greeted him respectfully.

“Lachlan, he is Mandel Talbot. If you can get his favor and even become his disciple, even if Julius uses his connections, he won’t be able to shake your position in the school.”

Lachlan nodded. Julius had once declared that he would remove Lachlan’s name from the list of Ellsworth High School.

In fact, he didn’t care about Julius’ revenge at all.

Lachlan smiled and said, “Okay!”

Everyone smiled. They did not expect the serious Mr. Talbot to joke around!
