C38 – Lachlan Had Only Used One Attack to Defeat His Opponent
Originally, Lachlan had wanted to find a martial artist to spar with. Of course, he would not give up on this opportunity.
“What? You can tell that he is a martial artist?” Henry exclaimed in shock.
Lachlan was not even twenty years old, so how could he have such an observation?
The middle-aged man walked out indifferently, “This is not strange. He can feel my energy fluctuations, so he naturally knows that I am a martial artist.”
“Why?”
“Because he is also a martial artist!”
The middle-aged man’s eyes turned cold, filled with killing intent.
Such a young martial artist?
Even the middle-aged man was surprised, but he was not afraid. Instead, he revealed a bloodthirsty gaze.
Killing a genius was what he liked to do the most.
“Claude, are you really so poor that you can’t even afford to hire a martial artist?” Lachlan asked curiously.
Claude nodded in embarrassment, “The fee for a martial artist to appear is extremely high. The fee for a martial artist to fight is at least twenty million. If I were to support a martial artist for a long time, even a few hundred million wouldn’t be enough.”
“It’s not that I can’t afford it, but I want to leave the money for my subordinates. After all, my business is very small. If my subordinates don’t earn money, no one will follow me.”
Lachlan understood. He did not expect Claude to be such a benevolent boss.
It was not a waste for him to help Claude this time.
“Master Banks, I’ll leave them to you.”
Henry respectfully retreated to the side, as if he was watching a good show.
Banks nodded his head and looked at Lachlan with a mocking expression, “You are so young, but you have already reached the early-stage of the Covert Force?”
Lachlan shook his head. He was not sure what kind of cultivation level he was at.
Martial artists were divided into five levels, namely, Covert Force, Inner Strength, Transformed Strength, Acquired, and Innate. Each level was also divided into four small realms, namely, Early, Middle, Late, and Perfection.
The specialty of the covert force was that the martial artist would produce internal force in his body. When a martial artist attacked with a punch, he would have endless strength, making it impossible for the opponent to defend.
Inner strength warriors could use internal force to increase their own strength and break stones and earth.
Due to the unique nature of the Cacophony Method that Lachlan was cultivating, it was impossible for him to match the characteristics of each level.
This made him very confused. It was also the reason why he wanted to find a martial artist to test out his strength.
[Ding! Mission: Defeat Banks; Punish Henry.]
[Mission Reward: 5 points of the Mental Energy. Difficulty: Two stars.]
Lachlan accepted the mission.
“What do you mean by shaking your head? Is it because your level is too low, and you are too embarrassed to say it?”
Banks laughed wildly. “Don’t worry. You are already a martial artist at such a young age. You are already considered a genius. How about this? How about you become my disciple? I won’t kill you.”
“Master Banks, you can’t do this! You must kill them all.”
Henry was worried that if Lachlan became the disciple of Banks, Henry would not have a good ending.
No one would have thought that an inner strength expert would be killed by Lachlan with a single strike.
Furthermore, Lachlan was a Grandmaster that was revered by tens of thousands of people in the legends!
Lachlan rubbed his nose, as he had a lot of questions in his heart.
“So my attack is equivalent to that of the Acquired realm. But my aura is clearly similar to that of Banks. It’s really unbelievable. I still need to find a stronger opponent to test out my realm.”
Actually, Lachlan did not know that the Cacophony Method was a combination of thousands of Psykai, and was the only peerless Psykai in the world.
The inner strength that he cultivated was naturally incomparably vigorous, and was not something that an ordinary warrior could compare with.
“Grandmaster Ye, I did not recognize your identity. Please spare my life.”
Henry knelt on the ground.
At this moment, he no longer had the demeanor of a boss. In front of a Grandmaster, he was nothing more than an ant.
The scene of Lachlan giving birth to a dragon in the air was still vivid in his mind, and he still felt a lingering fear.
In his eyes, Lachlan was like a god!
Some people were happy, while others were worried.
Claude’s face was filled with excitement. Lachlan’s strength had exceeded his imagination.
He was even more glad that he had met Lachlan. If not for him trying to please Lachlan, he would have been the one kneeling down now.
“Master Yilmaz, how should I deal with Henry?”
“Go and search his house and find evidence of his crime. Hand over the evidence to the police.”
With a single sentence, Lachlan had decided the fate of one of Grey Devil Soldiers.
Henry didn’t resist. Instead, he felt that he was very lucky.
Because Lachlan did not kill him, he was able to survive.
“Alright, leave it to me. Don’t worry!” Claude promised.
Suddenly, one of Henry’s subordinates stood up.
“On our turf, why should we let a child make the decision? Henry, you are old, so are you not brave enough?”
Henry was startled. “Jerry, don’t do this! Don’t do anything wrong.”
“No matter how strong your martial arts are, you are still afraid of a kitchen knife. Besides, I have a gun!”
Jerry took out a black handgun and pointed it at Lachlan.
“Aren’t you strong in martial arts? Aren’t you fast in your movements? Are you faster than me?”
Jerry’s eyes were bloodshot, and it was obvious that he was in a frenzied state.
“Jerry, you can’t insult a Grandmaster. Put down your gun!” Henry continued to persuade him.
“Hmph, I will kill a Grandmaster today! No one can stop me!”
