Chapter 455: Big Show
"...What sudden madness is this?"
Seeing Fang Mo push the door and enter, Ancient One, who was reading a book, seemed not to fully react.
"Last night, I couldn't sleep and kept tossing and turning, thinking that his Afro-dimension suits me perfectly. Lately, my business acumen is off the charts, and I want to establish several major enterprises in this dimension, like Afro Toothpaste, Fury Fried Chicken, and Nick Cotton Products," Fang Mo said. "I feel a heavy mission driving me, as the saying goes, 'Without the masses, the world would be in eternal night...'"n0ve(l)bi(n.)co/m
"...I think you've misunderstood the original meaning of that saying."
Ancient One said somewhat helplessly, "Moreover, Dormammu controls the Dark Dimension, which has nothing to do with race."
"What? Are you daring to be racist?"
Fang Mo raised his eyebrows. "How are Afro-descendants not related to people? Hmm? Explain that to me."
"..."
Hearing Fang Mo's reasoning, Ancient One fell silent for a moment: "As long as you're happy, I guess."
"In any case, I have now mastered incredible skills and am invincible in the world."
Seeing Ancient One's headache, Fang Mo revealed a cheerful smile: "Hurry up and find a way to shut down the Sanctum Sanctorum's barrier. I could trick Dormammu over here and take care of him once and for all. You've always hated the Dark Dimension, right? Then it's perfect for me to handle it once and for all."
"Kamar-Taj isn't mine alone."
Ancient One couldn't help but say, "The mission of the sorcerers is to protect the Earth from other-dimensional invasions. Now you want me to shut down the Sanctum Sanctorum's barrier. Do you think the other sorcerers would agree to this?"
"Then should I go talk to them?"
Fang Mo stroked his chin, then drew a Sword of Light: "I'm quite confident in my negotiation skills..."
"They are all disciples I personally trained. Could you not harm them?" Ancient One sighed. "If you really want to shut down the Sanctum Sanctorum's barrier, you might as well let Kaecilius do it, just like he did before."
"Oh, I've already planned that."
Fang Mo said directly, "I'll send someone to destroy the Sanctum Sanctorum's barrier, then let Kaecilius lead the way. You just need to play along with me at that time."
"What do you mean by 'play along'...?"
Ancient One asked curiously.
"You'll see when the time comes." Fang Mo said, revealing a mischievously evil smile: "You just need to know, this is a grudge of our old Sa family..."
...
Three hours later.
Outside the Kamar-Taj Sanctum, New York.
Kaecilius was leading a group of dark sorcerers, standing there as if waiting for someone.
Soon, a murky and pitch-black door appeared out of thin air, and quickly two men walked out from inside. Kaecilius immediately went up to greet them.
"My lord, this is the place."
Kaecilius respectfully said to the two men.
One of the men had braids at the back of his head, wore earrings, dressed in a black suit, and carried a huge sword on his back like a door plank. As for the other man, he seemed slightly older, with sporadic stubble on his chin, his face exuding laziness, dressed in white clothes, and inexplicably had a large black hole on his chest.
"Hmm..."
The man with the small braids observed his surroundings briefly before asking Kaecilius, "So, we just need to destroy this place, right?"
Kaecilius quickly took the mage from him, then turned and commanded his dark mages: "Follow the plan, go."
The mages nodded and quickly dispersed, activating the Mirror Dimension spell to pull people from several nearby blocks into the mirror space-time.
After that, these dark mages began to activate their powers, starting to twist the scenery of the mirror space-time. Suddenly, the sky tipped over, the earth inverted, and the whole world instantly turned into a bizarre sight, leaving almost all ordinary people standing in place, frightened and clueless.
And it was at this moment of extreme fear among the ordinary people.
These dark mages each took out a small booklet from their bosoms and began to preach fervently.
"Rejoice! The great Lord Sargeras has taken an interest in your world, and you should feel honored!"
"He is the eternal ruler of the six infinite dimensions, the supreme lord of the Abyssal All-Powerful Realm, the noble primal star soul, the highest monarch... Sargeras of the Titan clan!"
Kaecilius also held a small booklet, feverishly reading: "I am the most loyal believer of Lord Sargeras, a member of the Burning Legion. Any being daring to defy Lord Sargeras will be burned to ashes by the fel fire of sin!"
...
Hayakawa Aki, listening to Kaecilius's fervent rants, felt his cringe-cancer almost acting up.
Although that guy is indeed incredibly powerful and indeed worthy of worship by some, isn't this dialogue a bit too embarrassing?
Honestly, Hayakawa Aki started unconsciously curling his toes in his shoes, yet he had to maintain an indifferent expression on his face, which was really difficult. He was so tense that he started to sweat profusely.
However, just then, a burst of gunfire suddenly came from not far away.
A dark mage exploded into a cloud of blood mist and fell down. Kaecilius looked in the direction of the sound and found that the shooter was a Caucasian police officer.
Without any superfluous words, Kaecilius simply waved his hand.
Abyssal magic was activated, and liquid coral turned into a bright cyan blade and flew over, instantly piercing through the officer's chest.
After this, the fallen dark mage slowly got up, the wound healing rapidly, the squirming flesh pushing out the bullet, all without saying a word, making the scene even more eerie.
"See? This is the blessing of Lord Sargeras!"
Kaecilius told the surrounding crowd: "We will welcome a world without death, without pain, where everyone can achieve eternity and gain power!"
And with these words.
Actually, a part of the crowd was moved.
Seeing this, Kaecilius demonstrated on the spot, drawing a dark green seal in mid-air, then reciting a spell: "This is the mark of the Abyssal Lord, draw it with your blood, offer your loyalty to Him, and the great Sargeras will respond to the calls of the most devout, fulfilling all your wishes!"
After saying this, Kaecilius signaled to the other dark mages.
Soon, the mirror space-time was lifted.
Kaecilius casually drew a magic circle, then led everyone away, leaving behind a crowd of bewildered New Yorkers.
No one knows.
How many people remembered that spell
