Chapter 66 There Might Be A Transcendent In The Forest!

[Forest of Nightmare.]

Aaron appeared on the same spot he spoke to Rhea, he calmly dusted the invisible dust on his clothes.

"Did that bitch think she can send me anywhere she likes? How do you think their faces will look?"

He turned his head to Protean, who shook his head and took the form of the dark elf.

"What's the next stage of your plan?" He asked, taking a sit on the log.

"It pretty simple, As we speak, Angela is somewhere looking for me... While doing that, she'll come in contact with A Beast-Ruler stage Monster."

"But Kara said the strongest Monster here is--"

"--I know..." Aaron smirked at him.

Protean's eyes widened in shock. "Oh No, Oh No, No. No. No. No!"

"Come on now, I need you and Calamity in this."

"I'm not going to like this, Right?"

"Yes..."

Protean sighed helplessly. "Ok then, what am I going to do."

"Calamity, Show yourself."

The Six-headed Hydra flew out from the ring, standing beside Protean.

"Now Listen Attentively."

[100 Miles from Aaron's location.]

"Jack?" Angela called in a low voice, moving her gaze around the dim forest, which was caused by the canopies of the huge trees around her.

Rustle!!

Angela quickly turned around, with a flick of her wrists, A Hugh circular shield and a long sword appeared in each hand... Both high grade weapons.

"Is that you, Jack... Stop playing around and show yourself." She said in a whisper, looking at the bush in front of her.

Rustle!!!

It shook more, the next thing she saw was a normal size rat walking out from the bush.

"Huh?"

She tilted her head in confusion; "It's just a---"

Her eyes widened In shock, as the small rat grew into a 3 meters high rat, Its red eyes were fixed on her, fur as strong as steel... Its nails were even longer than her arm.

SCREECH!!!

Without hesitation, it lunged towards her with incredible speed.

Angela quickly braced herself as the rat smashed into her shield, throwing her backward.

She landed on the ground staring at the rat with pure fighting spirit.

"Hehehe... It has been long I killed something... Do you think an Omega-stage Monster like you can stop me?"

Her eyes turned crimson, Red Sid energy started emanating from her body, drastically increasing her strength.

"Do you know why in all my Kingdom there's no younger generation that can defeat me?" She started walking towards the rat, any step she took, she left deep footprints on the ground.

"But your familiar is weaker than that monster... Wait! How did you get a Great-Demon as a familiar? And a Wraith at that."

"I'll explain later!!"

Aaron was still running, with her following behind, Angela looked behind her again, but couldn't see anything, the trees were just too huge... And she couldn't hear any sound of battle.

[Some moments later.]

Aaron finally stopped, in present of Angela, he dropped on his knees and vomited a mouthful of blood.

"Jack!! What happened?!!"

Angela yelled in terror, she rushed up to him, holding his shoulders.

"My Familiar..."

Aaron said in a labored breath, and fainted on her body.

Angela was petrified;

'It can't be? This is the backlash if your familiar is killed, it'll affect your soul, and meridian, which can result to losing some of your powers... To some, they'll vomit blood, while others will faint... That's only possible for powerful familiars... Did Jack just lose a Great-Demon familiar because he tried to save me?'

She looked down at Aaron's handsome face, with their bodies connected, her body started heating up.

'What if?' Her gaze was fixed on his lips, she slowly licked hers... Then shook her head.

"Think girl!! Jack just sacrificed a Great-Demon familiar just to save you, You need to pay him back... But how?" She used her skill, and carried Aaron to a tree.

She then sat down, and rested her back on it, then placed Aaron's head on her laps.

"I'll stay here with you still you regain consciousness, Nothing will happen to you." She smiled lovingly at him, slowly caressing his silver hair.

A black Raven landed above them, looking down at the two.

'My Master's plan worked, time for the third phase.' He nodded, and stood there, watching them.

[Academy's Ground.]

"What's it, Elder Kara?" The Dean asked, seeing Kara's confused expression.

"I can't locate Jack, and Angela, It's like a force field is blocking me out."

"How's that possible?!"

The other elders were stunned, hearing Kara.

"I don't know... There's only two explanation to this, First... A Beast-Ruler at the peak stage Is in the forest, closest to the two, and second... Someone is in that forest who is a lot stronger than a peak Supreme Realm."

"It can't be! Are you saying there's a Transcendent in the Forest?!!" The Dean exclaimed in shock. Enjoy exclusive chapters from empire

"That's the only explanation, There's no way a Beast-Ruler of that stage could be alive, they were all killed in the war... So I'm guessing someone a lot stronger than me is in that Forest, close to the two's location." Kara sighed softly.

"Should we send some forces to investigate?" The second elder asked.

"No... That will alert the families that something is wrong..." Kara turned her head to the Dean.

"Go and see what's happening, if it's truly a transcendent, Don't attack... Pay your respect and explain the situation... If this person is against us, send us a telepathic message... Don't attack, just wait for us..." She paused, and added;

"If it's a peak Stage Beast-Ruler, just run, and report back to us... These Monsters can't be reasoned with."

The Dean nodded in understanding, then asked an important question;

"Elder Kara, How'll I look for them? We don't Even know their location, and the Forest of Nightmare is huge, measuring thousands of Miles."

"Start from the outer section, I didn't send any kids further than that."

The Dean nodded, and flew away from the Academy, heading to the Forest of Nightmare.
