Chapter 78 Terra's Hidden Blades

"Who are you guys?!!"

The wolves' leader asked, his cold gaze fixed on Modena and Rhea, who landed in front of Gjon.

"We're Lords of Terra... And this guy behind us is our Ally, and attacking his territory is akin of looking down on Terra."

Modena said, a sneer on her face.

The Wolves' Leader grimaced.

'Terra? Terra is so powerful that a Beast-Ruler is their lord, But... Why Haven't I heard of such a powerful kingdom?'

He looked behind his army and clenched his teeth, then turned to Gjon.

"You're lucky this time, We'll retreat, but that didn't mean you'll survive long."

Wait, this guy is a fool.

Modena scoffed: "Do you think you guys are leaving here alive?" She asked.

"Yes. You might be powerful, But you won't go against us, We have the backing of the Human empire, and also the Academy! You won't dare offend these two powerhouses!!"

Gjon and his people's faces turned paled, their legs trembled upon hearing the forces behind the Wolf Army, If he is saying the truth, that means the two powerhouses want them dead... That also explained the catapults.

"Shit!" Gjon cussed under his breath; "Can Terra really protect us from these powerhouses?"

Modena burst out laughing, her voice reverberating all over the open field... That the birds distance from them, flew away from fright.

The wolves, Gjon, Fugio, and their soldiers were all dumbfounded. Fugio was so confused that he whispered to Gjon.

"Who is this? Are you sure she isn't crazy?"

Gjon glared at him, and turned his gaze back to Modena, who finally stopped laughing.

She stared at the army in front of her with such killing intent that made them took a step back.

"How dare you compare ants to Terra?! Those insects aren't worthy to clean our shoes, let alone fight us... I'll show you the strength of Terra, by wiping you and your stronghold or village from existence."

SCREECH!!!

Before the Wolves could do anything, countless humanoid figures with red skin and wings all flew towards their location.

"What?!! Those... Those are hell demons!!!" The Wolves' leader was horrified, seeing the hundreds of demons flying towards them.

"Wow! I'm impressed, You're right, The Emperor asked me to resurrect them... Who would have thought these guys were all buried in the forest of nightmare... He called me for just this." Modena smirked.

The Wolves' leader stared at her for seconds, then turned his gaze to the lady in dark Mage's robe, which covered all her body.

'This! The Hell Demons are all Demon stage Monster, 100 is enough to wipe us out, and now...'

He looked up at the hundreds of Hell Demons hovering above them.

"You and your King will have the honor to meet our Emperor, At least it's a befitting thing before your death."

As her word fell, all the demons descended towards the Wolves.

"Attack!!!!"

Before the soldiers could fire their catapults, Two powerful dark orbs smashed into them, shattering them into splinters... Those closest all got impaled by the splinters, some dying on spot.

"That's cheating." Modena smiled at them, her hands folded on her chest.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

The Wolves' Leader stared at the hybrid in Horror, he watched the hell demons entered their lines and started killing his soldiers.

"No!!"

Rhea calmly sheathed her daggers on the sheaths on her waist.

The Leader looked down at his chest, seeing blood flowing out, His Armor proves to be completely useless against her daggers.

He fell on his knees; 'If she had gone even a little to the left, I would have loss my heart... What a terrifying Vampire.'

He collapsed on the ground.

Modena turned to Gjon; "Lead us to their village and stronghold, Rhea will help you guys get ready."

"Get ready?" Fugio was confused.

"You're all getting out from this place."

Modena flicked her wrist, a flag appeared in his hand, she then plunged it into the ground.

BOOM!!

Demonic energy emanated from it, covering all Gjon's territory, the Flag increased in height, only stopping after gotten 10 meters.

Gjon looked at his people and sighed;

"I'm sorry, We can't leave here, It's our home; I hope you understand?"

Modena nodded, She already knew Gjon will refuse, but with the Flag active, The Emperor can keep an eye on this land.

"Ok, I'll ask for only one favor; Protect this flag like your life depends on it... Because it does... With this flag standing, no enemy will be able to kill you."

Gjon looked at the red sun, and asked in excitement; "Kill us? Like all of us will be unkillable?"

"Hold on there, You're the only one unkillable... Note this; you gained this ability only when you're in your territory. If you're outside, you can be killed."

Gjon nodded with a smile. "Come with me, I'll show you the Wolves' Village."

Modena turned to the Hell Demons, who were busy eating the Wolves' dead bodies.

"Hey! Save some for me!!" She yelled.

[Academy.]

[Kara's office.]

"I don't think that's wise, Elder Kara."

The Dean who sat in front of Kara said in mild surprised, after hearing her plan.

Kara stood up, and started pacing in front of her desk, after some seconds, she stopped and turned to him.

"I need to enter the Transcendent realm, and to do that I need a Beast-Ruler's core, You said you saw two in the forest of nightmare... Is it bad thinking of ways to kill one?"

"We don't even know if the Beast-Rulers are still in the forest, We can't send our soldiers for some goose chase."

BAM!!

Kara smashed her palms on the desk, causing cracks to appear on the surface.

"Those old priests are acting all high and mighty because they're all in the Transcendent, But if I enter this realm, they'll have to respect me! Don't you get this?! All our effort will be in vain if we don't get stronger!"

"But what about Jack?! Didn't you say he'll be a good help to our plan?"

Kara stood up straight. She thought for a moment and exhaled; "Jack could be useful to us, but he's unpredictable... And filled with mysteries... This is our only option."

The Dean sighed helplessly, and nodded; "Ok, If that's your plan, I'm with you."

"Good, This is what we're going to do." Kara smiled brightly.
