In the Enormous Planet, which is home to several races, each with unique abilities that differentiate them from others.
But separating these races into categories to decide which zone they should belong to, was it just based on a particular race?
Mostly, it was done based on physical appearance and its similarities, which was also controversial since vampires' appearance would indirectly place them in the Human Zone.
This created the law of compatibility or mutual acceptance, meaning if a continent leading top at that particular zone approved any other middle ones to submerge in that zone and was accepted by that continent, then they would be declared under that particular zone.
There were some unspoken rules about each zone, like they can't attack each other without valid reason. If any other zone's race tried to attack them, then the top 3 continents of that zone had complete authority to wage war against the assailants.
There were some more, but these two were majorly followed.
Very few instances occur when these unspoken rules are broken. Though holding power did give individuals the ability to ignore such laws, which was true for Blairs from the Devereaux family, belonging to the strongest continent in the Human Zone.
Approximately a century ago, more accurately 98 years ago, they broke this law by launching an all-out attack with Titanora, the small continent belonging to a race known for their inborn physical ability to utilize 96% of surrounding mana into physical strength.
Normally, a human could only synthesize 76% of surrounding mana, with the remaining percentage wasted, making the whole utilization process harder for them and making the Dariants—race which possess this ability—widely known for their physical strength.
Once ranked fourth, now replaced by the newly risen continent known by the name Heindal, Titanora was in the fifth position.
Never once was a race, on the brink of reaching the top three, imagined to fall in rankings by facing a devastating battle against their own Zone member.
98 years ago, after Patriarch Blair killed one of the Dariants for going against them, he declared war on the whole race. Suddenly pitted against one of the world's strongest armies, the Dariants were cornered.
There is a saying: Ants can defeat Elephants, Rats can overrun Cats, and even Buffaloes can kill the tiger. Let alone all this, with added momentum, a 2 mm metal piece can bring down anything.
It's a simple line that motivated individuals to never back away from danger and have faith in themselves.
But it was only true for animals or non-living things, not for humans who possessed intelligence and shrewdness far greater than simple working machines, like animals or a simple bullet.
A total of 12,000 Early Phase II warriors, ranks below APEX, were killed while fighting against 10 people, among whom 6 were at the Perfect Middle ranks of Epic and 4 were at Early Perfect Legendary ranks.
WHRRRRRRR!
A sharp sound of five colossal battleships, glimmering in only black exterior, filled the airspace with engine sounds reaching the individuals beneath them.
The first thing that should arise in the hearts of natives should be trauma from the previous experience, right?
No.
It was rage.
.....
Bzzzzzzzzzz!
:: HOW DARE YOU AGAIN INFILTRATE OUR AIRSPACE, DEVEREAUX FAMILY IS CROSSING THEIR LINE NOW ::
A sound reverberated inside the main control room of one of the ships moving in front.
'So, this is Titanora,' Ryuk's eyes looked down from a huge mirror window which was black from the outside but clear from within, gazing at the vast land spanning with several ruins on the ground which seemed to appear like ancient ruins, with broken architectures and trees growing here and there.
But his eyes were not on the scenery but fixed on individuals standing on the ground—men, women, children—looking back at the battleships with clenched jaws, visible teeth, and rage in their eyes, evident from the redness within them.
Their features were mostly the same as humans except for the two horns which seemed made of crystal of different colors depending on each individual, adorning them.
Their physical bodies did not seem strength-oriented; instead, they were very thin and delicate for both men and women.
Narrowing his gaze since he didn't feel anyone above APEX Rank on the whole continent, he turned his gaze towards the woman lazily sitting on a throne specially prepared for her. He inquired, "Lady Drishti, there isn't anyone who seems stronger—"
"Slow down the ship. We've reached the place," Drishti stood from her seat, moving forward towards the young man who was interrupted in the middle. Turning towards him, she added, "Prepare yourself. I am throwing you out of this ship."
"Huh?"
