Trying to gain my trust again, Iris had shown me her true form, which I fully accepted, and she seemed very happy about it. However, I had not told her my secrets yet. But I would be making sure to reveal my secrets to her, whether she would accept me or not.

Her attack destroyed a significant portion of the 101st floor in the process. Being a training floor, this needed to be fixed in order to be functional again. Anybody would think that cleaning a mess this big was impossible since a huge amount of dirt was needed to be transported or magically created to fill the holes, but we were in the dungeon.

As the Dungeon Master, I could easily fix the floor by simply replacing the entire floor with the same exact terrain through the [Floor Terrain Modification] feature of the dungeon. Every time the floor was destroyed, a brand new copy of the floor was soon to be expected within minutes.

This floor was no stranger to destruction and had experienced worse than this. There was one time we conducted a nuke test featuring Czarina here, and literally everything was obliterated since the explosion could not escape and was trapped in this invincible tuna can.

Anyway, I restored this floor once Iris and I settled down. After that, we decided to go back to the surface and talk about the other things to discuss later in a more proper place.

We then joined the others in the palace as if nothing of a lover's quarrel had happened. We happened to meet Sophia, so we took her with us and included her in our conversation in a private room.

In our conversation, I told Iris's secrets to Sophia, as she had the right to know. I already had Iris's permission, of course. Sophia could not believe what we just revealed to her, as it was way out of her expectations, but she gradually ingested the details and eventually understood them.

"I know that she is a great and powerful mage," Sophia uttered. "But to think that Iris is not actually a human at all."

"I am sorry for hiding this the whole time, Sophia," Iris apologized, bowing her head. "I hope you understand and forgive me for that."

"You have reasons to hide your identity, so you don't have to seek my forgiveness as long as you promise to love Raphael. Let's do our best."

"I promise, Sophia. Thank you for giving me a chance."

"What do you think of her now, Sophia?" I asked. "Will you still accept her as my wife after hearing that?"

"Come in."

Late at night, inside my room in the palace, two knocks could be heard from the door. Upon my words, the door slowly opened, and the figure of Iris unfolded before my eyes. Even though she was in her modest white nightdress, the edges of her brassiere were still noticeable on her dress.

"Good evening, Raphael."

"Good evening to you too, Iris."

After she closed and locked the door, Iris came closer and hopped on my bed. As I was sitting on the head of the bed, she sat on the other side, making us face one another.

Tonight, I was going to reveal my secrets to her. Secrets that were so bad, immoral, and disgusting that they might possibly turn her stomach upside down with the risk of leaving me in the worst-case scenario.

Before I decided on doing it, I had already prepared myself for the consequences. But deep down, I was not actually ready for Iris to leave me. I did not know if I would be able to recover and move on from it if that happened.

"Just like I said earlier, I called you here because I am going to tell my secrets to you."

"I know, and just like I said before, I am ready to accept you no matter how bad or awful your secrets are."

"If you say so."

"Moreover, I am not done with telling you anything about me. You are curious why you can't read me, right?"

"There's that too. But let me do it first..."

Without turning back, I started disclosing the details of my secrets to Iris.
