"Master! I missed you!"
Blue jumped onto Ning despite his current size. The dragon wrapped his serpentine body around Ning and hugged him tightly.
"I missed you too, buddy," Ning said. "I'm glad to see that you're grown so much in my absence."
"Yes, I continued training all the while you were missing," Blue said. His size changed as he became small until he was no bigger than a small snake. He wrapped around Ning's shoulder and stood there.
"I knew you would still be alive. I never doubted it for one second," he said. "When did you come back."
"It's been a few months," Ning said. "Sorry I came to get you so late."
"I don't care, master. As long as you are back, that's enough for me," Blue said. He started tearing up a little and Ning smiled when he saw that.
Ning patted his head a little and asked, "you are still going to keep calling me master, huh? Even though I broke our bonds before leaving," he said.
"That measly bond was never the thing keeping us connected, master. It was the time we spent together," Blue said. "Besides, what else could I really call someone that helped me get to where I was today? You are definitely my master."
Ning couldn't help but feel warm when he heard that. "That does make me happy," he said. He slowly flew back down outside the arena where many people were watching their fight.
They stepped back when they saw Ning land with Blue wrapped around him. They couldn't believe that the Arena's champion was actually a beast, a dragon to boot.
Ning walked through the crowd, smiling at the people as he walked along. The crowd spoke in hushed voices, but neither he nor Blue cared about that.
"So, I know you don't have any family here. Are you free to leave with me?" Ning asked. "I've set up a place where our friends and families can stay in another world."
"Sure, master. I will go wherever you go," Blue said.
"Great!" Ning said as he walked along. "By the way, why did you not take any wife? Aegis did and he has a nice family now, but you didn't."
"I… didn't see the point, Master," Blue said. "It is true that I could have taken a wife from the many dragons that were in there, but none of them were True dragons like what I could be. My ego alone didn't let me get together with them."
"Well… I suppose dragons are proud creatures," Ning said. "Don't worry, I will help you find some True Dragons if you want. I believe the world Night is in has a few," Ning said.
"I'm not exactly looking for anyone at the moment, but if there is a beautiful female dragon, then I won't mind," Blue said.
Ning chuckled as he continued walking out of the desert city and then flew away.
Blue looked around in the sky at the world he had come to and wondered, "where are we going, master? Didn't you say the place we had to go was in another world?"
"Yes, and we will go there later, but there is one place that we have to go f—"
Ning stopped flying and looked ahead of him where he could sense many people with high cultivation bases were flying towards him.
They had either sensed or were notified of the event that had taken place in this city and was therefore rushing towards them.
"45 Immortal Saints, 12 Immortal Kings, and 3 Immortal Emperors," Ning said as he sensed them all.
"What?! Immortal Emperor? So many of them too," Blue said.
Ning chuckled. "Do you want to meet them? Or just leave without saying anything?" he asked.
"Master, are you strong enough to fight against the Immortal Emperors if they come for you?" Blue asked with hesitation in his voice.
"Immortal Emperor? Even Immortal Gods will have to bow before your master," Ning said proudly as he slapped his biceps in a show of power.
"Oh, wow master, you must be very strong now. Then let's meet them," Blue said.
Ning nodded and waited. 2 minutes later, everyone was there.
The group of Immortals surrounded Ning, but his eyes only fell on the 3 Immortal Emperors only.
The first one was a man wearing a simple gray robe with a black and white pattern around the cuffs of his sleeves and the linings. "Greetings friend, I am the Emperor of the Bloodwind continent. May I ask who you are?" he spoke.
"Ning," Ning replied. He looked at the other two. "And who might you two be?"
The other was a woman with long silver hair and a beauty that would make any man fall for her with a single glance. She held a fan in her hand as an accessory and quickly closed it to introduce herself. "Greetings, friend. I am the Empress of the Holy Yang dynasty."
The final man was a gruff old man with a golden beard and hair that covered his face entirely. He wore no clothes on his upper body, which looked incredibly tanned. "Emperor of the Endless Forest," the man introduced himself.

Ning raised an eyebrow and read the man's info a little. "Ah, I see. A beast emperor. Not bad," he said. "So, how can I help you exactly?"
"We just wanted to learn who you were and where you came from, fellow Daoist. Could you spare us some information?" the woman asked.
"Sure," Ning said. "I come from a different world, and I have no affiliation of any sort to speak. And if you're worried about me contesting for your lands, then don't worry. I have no such intention."
They smiled but said nothing.
Ning could see the distrust in their face. "Don't worry, I have just one last task, then I will leave this world," he said.
They were a little interested now. "What task is it, if we may ask?" the of the Bloodwind continent asked.
"I'm just going to get something from the Transcendent Ruin."
