Emma was strong, so over the course of the next year, Ning and Ely took her away from any human civilization to make sure she didn't harm someone accidentally.
People came to visit them from time to time, and Night, Blue, and Sorlus stayed around with them, but other than that, it was only Ning and Ely who remained together with Emma.
Emma was strong, but she didn't use her cultivation or magic spells that often. The only time she did, it was either because she was in the mood for some fun, or when she was sad.
Her spells weren't refined at all and her techniques were amateur, so the attacks usually just came to be random blasts around the house.
On top of that, she didn't use very strong attacks. At least by comparison to what she was capable of.
Her attacks were strong enough to kill a normal person, but no one around her was normal. Both Blue and Night were strong enough to take a beating from her, and she liked playing with them for that very reason.
She also played with Sorlus and hit him as well, but not as much as the other two. Even when she did, her strength wouldn't be as strong as with the other two.
Emma grew rapidly, and in just 6 months reached what most newborns would become in an entire year.
Ning and Ely were worried that their child was going to continue to grow rapidly, but for some reason, she stopped growing after that.
It was as if she had hit the base limit of what a cultivator needed to be and did not grow further than that.
Time slowly passed and Emma started learning how to talk. She was now capable of stringing together words to form coherent sentences to ask for what she wanted.
Which was either to play with daddy or ask for milk from mommy. She never asked to play with her mother, even though she did like playing with her when Ely did play.
She simply liked her father more because Ning would play thrilling games with her, which Ely simply never could.
Blue and Night would also play with her, but not to the same level as Ning.
Blue playfully taught her how to swim, while Night taught her how to fly. Within a month or two, she was better at it than them.
At some point, Ning realized that he had to teach her how to use cultivation and magic, especially what not to do.
So, he started teaching her.
Emma's intellect was high for a baby, but not high enough to understand many concepts and nuances that a more grown-up child would understand.
Even then, Ning taught her the best he could. No matter how long it took, he would teach her.
Time passed quickly when he was together with his wife and daughter, and several years were gone in the blink of an eye.
The world moved on, even without them. Many people even forgot about him and their family, who had become a figment of the past for everyone.
The world became more advanced and modern as time went on.
For Ning and his family, however, nothing changed at all.
A few years later, he found a small island in the pacific where he transferred his house and build even more houses, where he brought every family member to live in. They didn't have to worry about keeping up with the world that way, and they liked it.
Emma looked no more than 2 years old even when dozens of years passed and somehow the people around them expected that to happen. Some even preferred it that way.
Knowing that she had such a strong cultivation base, Ely wasn't even worried that her daughter wasn't growing fast enough.
With her lifespan, she could take millions of years to grow to be a teenager and it would be fine for her.
Emma could speak a bit better now, so she was able to converse with people, even though she still kept her childish charm and naiveness.
She was way better at handling her strength, and apart from Night and Blue, no one else was ever harmed at all.
Even the two of them were only harmed because Emma found it funny and they let her do it. Both of them had become great uncles to her and loved her like she was their own daughter.
Time continued passing and they could not stop it.
They all remained timeless, but the world did not.
Multiple natural disasters occurred, killing a lot of people. There were other problems that nearly wiped out all humanity.
Emma would be sad those days, but there wasn't much she could do. Ning wanted to help them, but it was impossible to help everyone from a random earthquake toppling buildings, or a magical experiment that went wrong.
So, he and the others had let the world develop on its own.
And after the first few times, they realized that the world really didn't need their help at all. It in fact was better for the people to die.
Because from that was born a new group of humans who would do as good if not better than the humans that came before them.
Such was the circle of life.
Hundreds of years passed, and then thousands, but nothing changed for Ning and the others. They lived together as even hundreds of thousands of years passed.
Even after all that time, Emma looked no older than 8 years old. She was playing with Night in the sky one day when she paused and looked in a certain direction.
Without waiting for Night, she suddenly disappeared using a magic spell and appeared in the upper atmosphere where she saw a woman looking around curiously.
The woman looked surprised to see a child in front of her. "H-hello," she said.
Emma looked at the woman curiously as she was hearing some things from her that she didn't from the others.
Curious, she asked, "Who are you?"
