"Who are you?" the child in front of the girl asked.
The little girl was wearing a small pink frock with a red headband on her head. She was barely 8 years old in age and was no different from the many children the girl was used to seeing on the other planet.
The girl looked at the little girl in front of her, flying in the sky so mighty high, and wondered how she was doing that. She herself was flying in the sky as well, and that was a bit surprising too.
'Is she like me?' the girl wondered. she couldn't understand the words, so she had to buy a language to understand.
The little girl perked up a little and was about to ask something when her little head turned around somewhere down below.
The girl looked below as well since she noticed someone approaching. Well, she noticed everything in this world, but this one stuck out for her as she sensed a rather odd feeling from this.
A man appeared in front of her and slowly moved toward the little girl. Behind him, many others were on their way here as well.
"Emma, who is this?" the man asked, and the girl realized that she hadn't learned the little girl's name just yet.
'Emma,' she thought.
The little girl looked back at her one more time before turning back to the man. "Papa, this is someone who came from far away," she said. "I came to meet her."
"You don't meet strangers without your parents. You even left Uncle Night behind," the man said before turning towards the girl. He looked at her for a while, but he couldn't figure out anything at all.
The girl had no cultivation base and certainly had no mana. It didn't look like she had any sort of equipment on her either. 'Then how is she flying?' he wondered.
"My name is Ning, who might you be?" Ning asked, finally unable to stand his own curiosity.
"Ning…" the girl said slowly. "I am…" the girl paused. "I am me," she said. "I have no name."
"No name?" Ning asked. That was suspicious. "Where did you come from?"
"Planet," the girl said after thinking for a while. "Illara, they said it was called."
"You came from a planet named Illara?" Ning asked. Ely and Night had appeared behind him by now and they were all hovering in the stratosphere, talking with the people.
"Yes," the girl said.
"Where is this planet Illara, if you don't mind me asking," Ning said.
"In Nigel," the girl said.
"Nigel? Who is Nigel?" Ning asked.
"She's like me," the girl said.
"Like you?" Ning asked curiously. "How so?"
"She is an owner of the Energy System, just like me," the girl said.
Ning took a moment to process the information, but when he did, he couldn't help but come to a conclusion. It wasn't just him, even Night and Ely behind him were of the same mind as well.
"Sorry, how did you get in here exactly?" Ning asked.
"I was told by my system that this was in my Inner world. So I came to check," the girl said.
Ely grasped her mouth in shock when she heard that. Tears started dripping down her eyes as she came to the same conclusion as Ning.
Night was slightly confused, however. After all, he and the rest were told a different story as to what exactly had happened to the system.
"This is your inner world? Are you sure?" Ning asked.
"Yes," the girl said.
"Then do you remember who you are? Where you came from? How you got the system?" Ning asked.
"I don't know who I am, but I awoke in Illara. As for the system, it came to me when I said 'Activate System'," the girl said.
Ning took a deep breath. "Have you not bought your memories yet? Or even checked your system status?" he asked.
"What's that?" the girl asked.
"Say status, and see what is reads," Ning said.
"Okay… status," the girl said.
Something appeared in front of her, both visually and in her mind's eyes. The blue panel floated in front of her with information on it that the girl could surprisingly read.
[Status
Name: Ning Ruogong
Energy: 51.8 Billion
Skill: Intermediate Illarian Language, Beginners Earthen Language, Basic Human Knowledge]
"Ning… Ruogong…" the girl read. "It says that's my name."
Ning smiled. "That's it," he said. "You're Ning. You're finally back. It has been so long."
"I am Ning too?" the girl asked. "Isn't that your name?"
Ning chuckled. "You really can't remember anything, huh?" he asked. "Ask the system to give you all the memories you've lost."
"Okay," the girl said. "System, give me all the memories I have lost."
<Understood>
Suddenly, the girl felt the energy in herself disappear and a wave of information hit her head that she struggled to understand for a second. However, slowly, the information melded into her memories and become things that she had always known.
She looked up at them with wide eyes and gave a genuine smile. "I… I can't believe it," she said.
"Ning?" Ely asked curiously. She slowly moved forward to make sure Ning had in fact remembered himself.
"Hey Ely, I'm back," the girl said.
"You're really back!" Ely shouted as she moved forward and grabbed Ning into a tight hug. Ning felt his body crack, but he didn't feel much pain. He reached back and hugged Ely too.
"Papa, who is she? Why is mama hugging her?" Emma asked.
Ning chuckled slightly, not knowing how to answer.
Ely let go of the female Ning and looked back at the other Ning and Emma who were together.
"Emma, come here," Ely said.
Emma slowly flew up to her mother and stood before her, looking at the girl in front of her.
The female Ning looked with wide eyes as he realized who this was finally. "This…" he looked at Ely and Ning. "Is this..."
Ely nodded. "Ning, meet your daughter, Emma."
Ning's eyes went wide for a moment and he started tearing up. "Emma, come give your father a hug."
