“Zephyrus, so here’s where you were. Are you ready to go to the academy?”

“Hn? Ah, village chief?”

Someone suddenly talked to me, but when I turned around it was someone that I knew quite well. In [Dun-life]’s starter village this was the village’s chief.

By the way, Zephyrus was my characters name in which was also known as for short. It was the name I used all this time, but it seems like now I’ve become Zephyrus.

Aaaah, it really does seem like the world inside .

“What kind of response is that? You turn sixteen this year and we talked yesterday about you going to the academy..”

I don’t remember this conversation.

After all I just woke up here, is it trying to play out like some body hijacking light novel? Although there’s no remnant memories of a previous host.

Sorry, chief, I don’t remember.

“Did you really forget already? Hhhh this bird brain.”

It’s not that I forgot, I just have no memory of it.

“No, I it possible you just thought you said it but actually didn’t?”

“Are you an idiot!? Here I’ll say it one more time.”

“Uh, no that’s ok.”

“H-huh?”

It seemed like he was about to start talking for a long time so I interrupted him, which caused him to make a funny face.

I need to calm down, until now confusion had been scrambling my brain but after I managed to calm down some this scene felt familiar. It’s just like the games start, the very first scene. For now I just need to get through this and answer like the main character would.

“I’ve already packed so all that’s left us to say goodbye. ”

“Oh so you remembered? Good, well then go say goodbye to the village.”

The chief said this as a vein was throbbing on his forehead, but with that I finally understood the situation I was in.

This was the introduction to ‘s first quest. In the game at sixteen you must enter the academy to obtain and master a job. What happened just now was the quests beginning dialogue.

In other words, i most likely was a character who had just turned sixteen. As soon as I understood that my heart seemed to scream. Could something so amazing happen? But this is the games world is it? Did I reincarnate? I’ve played so much that I was sure this was the world right out of the game.

“This is awesome!!!”

My emotions poured out.

“Thank you life, thank you reincarnation, thank you !”

I was so grateful and happy that I began to dance around with my hands held high. The village people looked at me like I’d taken some sort of weird drugs but I didn’t care, this was the happiest I’d ever been. Such a trivial thing like the loss of save data was no longer of any consequence.

“Alriーーーーght!!!”

To get to play for real, it’s a dream come true.

“Ha, ha, ha”

I’m tired, before I realized it I was already splayed out on the ground. I wanted to dance around a bit more but I didn’t have the energy. As I regained my breath I also began to calm down, it’s a pity but, this isn’t the place to go crazy. From now on I’ll be enjoying for real after all.

“So, what should I do now?”

Humming to myself I jump to my feet, after all, calm or not this is still an exciting moment for me.

“First up, would be the job I guess? Since it’s for real I can’t choose a joke job, which means for the first time in years, I should choose the strongest one. ”

[Dun-life] just like the name suggests is a sort of dungeon crawler. Get a job, get some friends, form a party or even a guild, and take on the dungeons. And the best thing about it? It has tons of jobs, roughly 1021 different choices.

There were many jobs that were just dumb but I proper strategy guide existed in the form of 6 separate books. I of course, bought them all.

That’s why completing the game using all the different jobs takes so long, but to enjoy the real I can only choose one.

I’ve thought about this often, should I get the chance to actually play what job would I choose? The number of simulations I ran was well over a hundred before I finally chose one.

“Alright, now to clear the job requirement.”

I went forward excitedly while thinking about the future.
