“Please let me join your guild.”

Yes! Her answer was perfect! It was hard not to scream out loud, but I have to remain calm, negotiations start from here.

“Is it OK to decide that quickly? I’m going to be giving you valuable information so if you joined and then backed out it would be problematic.”

“As a noble I must thank you properly for the help.”

“But in my mind grateful or not a noble can just as easily neglect that debt.”

“At the very least, my family does not do that.”

It’s almost as if she was admitting that there were nobles like that in this world, although it didn’t come out in the game a bit.

“If an oral promise isn’t enough for you we can use a a home contract. It’s a high priced item made by a [magic tool engineer]. The effects are guaranteed by my house.”

“No need.”

“…really?”

Well from what I just said it seems reasonable that she would think I wanted a contract but I’m not going to bind guild members with a contract.

If someone ends up not liking my guild they can just leave. The point is to make a guild where members don’t want to leave.

“I’m looking for companions. Besides if we stand at the top as an S rank guild you wouldn’t want to leave the guild anyway would you?”

“You’re quite confident aren’t you.”

“Well I am a [hero]”

[Hero] stands at the top of the lower class job trees. And if my guild is S rank none of the members will want to leave.

“Well it does seem like you have the ability and a bright future. You might actually be able to do it.”

“I’ll absolutely do it. You’re getting a great deal if you subscribe now. ”

Ciara put her hand over her mouth and laughed but in the end she agreed. I got so caught up getting a new member that I almost forgot.

“I guess I should tell you the requirements for [shield maiden] now huh.”

“Yeah, you actually know them right?”

“Because I’m a [Hero]”

“I don’t know how that relates but ok.”

Ciara looks even more beautiful when she laughs.

The requirements were as follows.

① Be the daughter of a count.

② Receive a monster’s attack 100 times with a shield.

③ Parry a monster’s attack 100 times with a shield.

④ Do not reach level 30.

⑤Meet the conditions for all the other shield wielder job.

The first condition is already met and the second and third can be met easily through slimepop. Hannah might not be happy with me sharing the idea but she’ll have to understand that it’s for the good of the guild.

Number 4 is a little special. Level 30 is the level where the advanced job change ticket can be used. Although it’s better to wait until you reach level 75 to use is so that way you can accumulate all the sp and raise your stats. In otherwords once you reach the point where you can use the job change ticket you can no longer become a [Shield maiden].

Number 5 is the same as the swordsman jobs, most high ranking jobs have this condition.

“Thats all.”

After a few moments when Ciara spoke again her voice sounded pitiful.

“I won’t be able to do it. ”

Yeah, in real life it’s difficult to imagine meeting all the conditions and then restarting your job back at level 0. That or taking monster attacks without the benefit of a job.

Of course I knew the requirements for all of the other jobs as well so I made it a little easier by telling her all of the requirements for those as well.

“Seriously who are you? ”

“[Hero]”

For some reason it’s easy to hide behind the [hero] job.

After that I went to the aristocratic dorms with Ciara, she said she had an alchemy bracelet and wanted to get started right away on slimepop. According to plan, she should meet all the conditions by the end of the day.
