<National Dungeon Academy for Support and Exploration • Main Branch>. Alias : Labyrinth Academy.

Male students enrolled in this academy are particularly more egoistic than any other place.

In the world of <Dungeon Activity>, one is obliged to attend the academy for three years to study for their respective job when one turns 16.

So, which academy they are enrolled in is also pretty important. Hence, just the title of a graduate from Labyrinth Academy made them superior to others.

The acceptance rate of these 20,000 students enrolled in the Labyrinth Academy is extraordinarily high. The Labyrinth Academy has by far the highest number of dungeons in the whole Shiyatona Kingdom. Its learning environment is excellent and it is extolled as the number one academy that produces excellent graduates every year. To enter Labyrinth Academy, you have to have some kind of talent or connection.

This naturally boosted the egos of students enrolled in it. "I'm the chosen one!" is a common misconception among children.

By the end of the month, they'll have been beaten black and blue to the ground. For example, by assessments.

However, until then, students who have reached this height without suffering any setbacks have the tendency to get carried away, swaggering with arrogance. especially for male students.

Female students don't fall into this category. Maybe it's due to the characteristics of <Dungeon Activity>, which make it much easier for girls to acquire powerful skills. That raised the demand for males with stronger skills, given the scarcity, which gave them the illusion that they truly were "the chosen one."

Even though the ratio of boys to girls in my class is 11 to 19. Hence why the earlier tragedy (?) in male students' self-introduction.

There's always a heaven above heaven, Saturn-kun. So be magnanimous and cheer up.

There was a bit of buzz in the middle, but the long homeroom was finally over, and as the class ushered in break time. Creeping up, Lana swiftly moved towards my seat and said,

"Well said, Zephyr! That was a lot of fun!"

I felt like I just saw the souls of four male students ahead of me leaving their bodies, hearing the Princess compliment me on showing her a "good drama" very naturally. That's right, it should be my imagination.

Lana then left for Ester and Shizu. Just now... She probably came to praise me, right?

Yeah, it was nothing personal. So, O' my four dear classmates, I want you to live longer.

"Shall we go, Zephyr-sama?"

"Of course, I want to see as many places as I can."

I stood up from my seat, seeing Celestine come to invite me. The tour this time is for elective classes.

As was mentioned in the long homeroom, students have elective classes too, in line with regular classes. Every Friday is the day for elective classes. All classes are organized as you like, on the road you are going to tread on for your future.

It's Friday, May 3rd. Since we have the freedom to inspect any classes upperclassmen should be receiving today, my plan is to checkout as many classes as I can. After all, I want to experience everything after coming to the real <Dungeon Activity>.

"From which one are we going to start?"

"Let's check around the classes outside of the combat department. I want to go to both practical and classroom lectures without dividing.

"Understood"

I left the classroom together with Celestine. Other members have their own opinions they want to check out, so everyone is going their own way. Time is finite, after all. Just taking my case, I don't think we would be able to check out all the places I have in mind.

The elective classes in the combat department building would be taught in the regular curriculum for now, so I'm postponing them for later.

The first place we come to is the collection department, a subclass of dungeon capture major. Here, it mainly focuses on teaching about collecting materials. Anything that can be brought back without fighting is taught here, for example, harvesting, logging, excavating, fishing, and so on.

Combat departments do have classes where they teach about dungeon materials, but if anything, they mainly teach about monster drops, unlike the subclass which teaches more in-depth about the types of materials or resources one can get in their hands through collection. The dungeons from where materials can be collected, their value, their uses, where their demand is highest, and so on go on the list.

Another thing is this department has deep ties with the combat department. Since all the students of the collection major can use the <Guest bracelet> at a cheap price from the academy's side, they can also tag along with the party of combat department students. In reverse, the party can request the gathering of material they need.

The Combat Department would carry the collection department deep into the dungeon, and the collection department would share one part of the materials or resources they had gathered with the combat department as compensation. A mutual relationship benefits for a long time to come.

As such, I tried checking out many of their classes, but alas, none of them were much help to me. With the deep reservoir of knowledge about the <Dungeon Activity> I have, I couldn't find anything new.

I abhor this. I mean, I particularly didn't hate this deep ocean of my knowledge, or rather, I think it's pretty impressive.

Unfortunately, there is nothing that can stimulate my thirst for knowledge. No choice but to change the target.

The next nearby target is the <Dungeon Capture Major • Investigation Department>, but that's a strange department to say. The Investigation department is mainly the gathering spot for those with reconnaissance or similar types of jobs, mainly checking out on strange occurrences, taking the role of scout when partying with the combat department, but I don't have anything needed to investigate in the dungeon, so it's a pass for me.

Thus, the target moved to the next closest option, the <Trap Disarming Department>. I'm suddenly interested in it.

"So how about checking out the trap disarming department?"

"Understood. Though Zephyr-sama seems to be having fun,

"Oh, that's how I look? Well, maybe so. You should have fun too, Celestine. You don't need to come with me to check other classes; one should do what their heart wants them to. "

"No, I don't think classes are that much fun."

Well, there's also that. Rather, there should be many with similar opinions.

The search for elective classes this time is to find a class which looks interesting for oneself, but Celestine hasn't realized it yet. Oh well, I think it will be fun to search for a class that can attract him.

"E-Excuse me. If you don't mind... "

"Hnn?"

Oh, someone called Celestine to talk about something, it seems.

I turned to look at the owner of the voice, and it turned out to be a petite male student. Is that person really a boy? Although he's wearing a trouser just like me and Celestine, his small face looks more like a slightly younger girl, and to be honest, I think a skirt would match better on that male (?) student.

I just heard you're going to the <Trap Disarming Department>. If you don't mind, can I come along with you? I am also interested in that department. "

So that's how it is. He seemed to have heard our earlier discussion and called out to us. I assume he's a student from the collection department, seeing him here?

"W-Well. Is it fine? "

"Oh, I don't mind. What about you, Celestine? "

"No problem. I will do as Zephyr-sama desires. "

The other person has called out after what seems to be mustering all the courage, so I also want to go together if possible.

Nevertheless, the boy (?) looked startled to hear the way Celestine addressed me.

"Ehh, -sama... M-May you happen to be an exalted noble somewhere!? Ah, what rudeness of me! "

"Ah, no-no. I'm just your average village boy. So be at ease and call me normally. "

I hurriedly calmed him (?) down, seeing his momentum of doing a dogeza at any moment. Hmm, there was Hannah too, but is that the normal reaction towards a noble?

"Err... Then why the 'sama'?"

"Come on, time is of essence. Hurry up and get going."

"Ah, p-please wait for me!"

Seeing him in confusion, I quickly changed the topic forcefully and began to walk, and he chased after us like a puppy.

And so, along with the student we met in the <Collection Department>, the three of us headed to the <Trap Disarming Department>.

It's another matter how when I introduced myself as <Brave> on the way, he (?) screamed and was startled even more.

T/N : I think I may have mixed "department" and "major" word in previous chapters, I will fix them tomorrow asap. Also some slight changes in naming you might see matching the description which wasn't before and now are.

A thing to note : I would be using the word "Trapper" mostly, whether they are specialising in using them or disarming them. Since there are sometimes it's only mentioned that someone is good at them but what their forte is unknown.

T/N : Illustrations have been added, you can check them out, apparently the problem was I couldn't add hq images.

*The issue is fixed.
