"Holy crap."

I shouted.

I was indeed excited to play with the Emperor Goblin again after a long time, but its appearance ratio had stunned me so much that I couldn't stop myself.

The chance of a rare boss appearing, even after using the flute that increases the likelihood of it appearing, was no more than 70%. It would already be a huge success if the rare boss appeared 5 or 6 times out of 8 tries.

However, and against all odds, I had blown the flute 8 times, and the rare boss had appeared…… all 8 times.

I couldn't tell how excited I was.

How long had the Emperor Goblin been waiting for someone to play with him!?There has never been a time where a rare boss had appeared 8 times in a row, even recalling the memories of the time I was playing it as a game! And the icing on this matter was the drops.

Although it was a pity that Beautifying Phenomenon didn't appear, the drops were drool-worthy nonetheless.

The Gold Chest appeared twice! In other words, I got a total of four gold chests! And all of them were mine since I was solo! fuhahaha!

But if that wasn't enough shocking, behold, another flute appeared from two chests among them. Now I have a total of four flutes.

There was no end to my surprise today. Since when did Emperor Goblin become so generous? At least it never happened even when I was playing "Dungeon Activity" as a game.

I wonder if there's some kind of "reality correction" at work in the background. Like, It's set in stone that one drop will absolutely be a flute among gold chest drops in one session.

By the way, the other two gold chests dropped two pieces of equipment called "Wand of the Emperor Goblin" and "Energy Force."

The "Wand of Emperor Goblin" is the same boss equipment as the "Magic Sword" that was dropped last time, it was destined to make its place in the warehouse.

"Energy Force" was an accessory that provided a lucrative status of MGK 22, [MP+100], which was very useful for magic-based jobs.

I had considered who I should give this ring to, but since I was alone today, I decided to reward myself.

Yay, I powered up! fuhha.

It's 7:00 p.m. at present. My original plan was to return after blowing the flute eight times. It was a short term plan since the beginner-intermediate bosses couldn't give me much experience.

But the situation is different now. The flute has dropped. I can repeat the session again.

So, the question was, what should I do now? But it was easy for me to decide on. For I'm Zephyr. A person who is obsessed with dungeon exploration.

There's no Dungeon Activity player who would shy away from the chance to blow the flute again! I wasn't any different either, and thus, I resumed my job of swiping the boss after munching on snacks from my bag.

"Holy Crap."

The second [Holy Crap] of today.

Because in front of me was another [flute]. Yes, it dropped again.

Furthermore, the appearance rate of the rare boss for the second session today too was... 100%.

That made it 16 times in a row. Just how hungry you're to play with someone, "Emperor Goblin"!?

I decided, no matter what, I will verify the myth today at all costs.

Fortunately, another gold chest appeared and dropped another flute. All right, this has given four more chances.

"Dungeon Activity" players don't shy away from battles!

"Holy Crap."

I, Zephyr, who's currently having the shock of his life present to you the third [Holy Crap] of the day!!

Right now, I'm at the 20th battle scene, and guess who's in front of me? 一Yes, it was none other than the idle-lord Emperor Goblin.

Apparently and somehow, I have succeeded in 20 consecutive rare boss draws.

This was simply unprecedented. Unbelievable. This was an experience I hadn't experienced even once, including the memories of my game.

What in the name of Dungeon Activity has happened, did the effect of Flute changed as I predicted? And could someone please explain why flutes were dropping like slime in a slipo marathon?

Though... The culprit is right in front of me.

"Hast thou awakened to the joy of combat?"

"Gobu."

In the mid-centre of the boss room, where I and Emperor Goblin stopped in our tracks, Emperor Goblin gave a firm nod when I casually tried to ask.

I saw him nodding.

"Can you understand me? Ehh, seriously?"

It wasn't like there weren't any bosses who could speak in the game period, but Emperor Goblin was definitely not one of them.

I mean, I did have this vague inkling that the opponent had will, albeit not to the point that he could even respond to my questions.

But, do the bosses have consciousness then? No, I believe there must be some who don't have it.

At the very least, bosses from the beast or plant categories who act on instinct were exempt from this. since I hadn't felt the same thing from him.

Hmm, was the "Emperor Goblin" a special existence then? Come to think of it, the players didn't have the command to chat with the boss like I'm doing right now. It can't be ruled out that he had the will from the beginning.

Oh, crap. My knowledge seeking habit was flaring up again.

"What Sayth, the Emperor Goblin. Can thou talk a bit more? Many a question I hath to ask thou."

"Gobu."

Alas, Emperor Goblin shook his head horizontally in response to my question. Pressure gradually began to emit from him as he readied himself for battle.

Hmm. I guess I wouldn't be able to get the answer to my question.

Just as I had put up the shield in front and was going to take a stance, "Oh, I see.", it suddenly clicked for me.

The boss rooms were originally for boss battles, not the place to engage in idle chit-chatting. The Emperor Goblin was probably telling me to find my answers through the fist.

But why the hot-blooded battle manga type development!?

Not that I dislike such developments, I just wanted to slightly satisfy my intellectual thirst.

"Gobuuu!!"

"All right, let's restart!"

and thus opened the curtain on the 20th consecutive rare boss battle.

I have come a long way and I was no longer someone with a low level, but I still got chills whenever I fought with Emperor Goblin. My battle with Emperor Goblin, no matter how many times, was always fun.

Maybe I like PvP more than I believed myself to be.

Anyway, and without any suspense, victory was mine.

The drops of this fight were two silver chests. It seems like the Emperor Goblin way of saying he had enough fun today satisfied and was now going to rest.
