"Was it the right choice? I mean you wouldn't be able to attend the elective classes you were looking forward to by becoming provisional lecturer... "

"It's fine since this also looks fun. Besides, it's just one semester deal. I will take them from the second semester so I'm not missing much."

I replied to Celestine's question as we made our way home.

After the consultation, My proposal was readily accepted without any further questioning, which really surprised me.

Does the academy really don't mind him becoming the provisional lecturer? There were my thoughts, but apparently there was no age limit or any other limitation to become the lecturer as long as they have capability to take on the role. As expected of the meritocracy first world.

I was given the right to conduct elective classes, and only on Friday, I will teach the students about <Training Manual> as provisional lecturer. And on the weekdays, I will attend classes normally like everyone else.

It seems even Chief Miston was interested in it, apparent from his statement "I will absolutely attend it", as there had never been a class which has touched the subject of job's training until I came in. Though I had to stop myself from making a jab "but you're not a student".

My time period as provisional lecturer is one semester, so I only have around 10 weeks until the summer vacation.

Well, the most important factor of the <Training Manual> is the starting, so I, too, will be teaching the beginning part only.

This is also the reason for my time period being only one term, because I don't know what to do if other students said they want to take classes when they are at Lv30 or Lv40.

Incidentally, Labyrinth Academy utilised a three semester system. First semester until summer vacation, second semester until winter vacation, and third semester until spring break. So I would be working until summer vacation.

A <Training Manual> is something that urges one to decide on the ahead path from the time they're at low level, i.e. when it's easy to raise the level.

It becomes tough to raise the level after a job is raised to a certain point, the same goes for amending the mistakes made by that point, too. And there shouldn't be a lack of students who have wasted their SP, so sometimes ignorance is bliss (Read: For the sake of their sanity, it's better if they don't take his classes).

And my earlier inspiration was just about that. If the research institute can't, then wouldn't it be fine if I become a provisional lecturer and teach it myself?

My current goal for now is to discover the talented students that have the potential to become <Eden>'s members.

Once I am a lecturer, I will have lots of chances to come in contact with students. Then I will be able to scout potential members without any limitation, basically two birds with one stone. FU-HAHAHA!

The other is, of course, to level up the whole cademy.

The present world has fallen into stalemate in the capture of advanced dungeons.

The lack of high-ranking jobs had been one of the reasons for it, but the more fundamental reason was their weak statuses because they don't know the correct way to upgrade their jobs. Else, they wouldn't have been stuck in advanced dungeons with a well raised job.

That's why, I want to change their opinion on this matter.

With the way things are at present, <Eden> would be the sole hegemon once we clear away the advanced dungeon.

This would, of course, stroke our self-esteem but as a game world, a world without a rival would be boring. I just hope there can be a strong rival guild by that time who can give us a run for money.

According to my desires, I guess I will put a bit more energy into my role as provisional lecturer.

Anyway, we visited the staff room after my proposal was accepted and went through the procedure for me to become provisional lecturer.

I thought it wouldn't be possible this week given it was weekend's evening, but Chief Miston completed the procedure without caring for anything. In fact, his expression was overflowing with vigour so much so that even the dark circles that had been under his eyes had disappeared unknowingly. This might have made him a bit too excited.

My first lecture will be on the Friday of next week.

Apparently Chief Miston is going to call out for the students with the focus on those who have high-ranking jobs, so this should increase the attendees count.

Next week, I can't wait for it.

And then comes Saturday.

Another holiday, another day for the dungeon.

In the guild room where every member were gathered,

"We will now commence the meeting!"

"You sure are in high spirits..."

I was graced with Sierra's reproachful glare first thing in the morning. Maybe this is the omen telling lady luck is going to smile on me today.

Well, jokes aside, I heard members' accomplishments and reports in order.

Even the new members that were awkward at first smoothly finished their report, familiarising themselves with the process gradually.

These reports, when I can't check every member's statuses with a tap unlike a game, were really important.

I had asked everyone to report the data like their level, what dungeon they have cleared and to which dungeon they have made progress etc at least once a week. This is one of the house rules of <Eden>.

It was well received by everyone and has now become the source of their motivation to not fall behind other members.

All the reports from members were recorded down by sub-guild master Sierra equipping <(Clerk) Bracelet>. Thank you very much for your support!

From their repreportsort, it seems guild members had spent most of their time practising in the training ground instead of diving into dungeons for the past week. Because they were unsure if they would be able to return from beg-mid grade or higher level dungeons by the dinner time if they start after the class ends.

Even our sole, fastest means of transportation, Ester, would have to take quite a time before she can reach the deepest floor without my guidance. And if they're on foot which obviously takes time, then they can kiss goodbye to their dinner.

I also received a report from Celestine, albeit a different type than earlier.

"I have fixed an appointment with the honorable Duke. They said they could have time to meet tomorrow."

"Ah, great! You're amazing, Celestine!"

It was about the solicitation of a freshman student from the <Duke> family which I had left for Celestine to handle last week.

If I remember right, there were two students who belonged to <Duke> category, but according to Celestine, one of them had already joined an upperclassman guild so they turned down the invitation.

There had been no reply for a while from the second person but it seems like they finally replied to Celestine last night. Though, they are still in middle of considering whether they will join or not.

It seems like I have to pump some spirit in myself for tomorrow.

I expressed my gratitude to Celestine and moved the topic to today's dungeon attack.

"Next is party division. I want to continue the capture of <Dinosaur's Hill Dungeon> from last week with vanguard members, what's everyone taking on it?"

"Sounds good! I approve of it!"

"Likewise!"

The first one to approve was Lana, followed by Hannah. With Lana's answer, Ester would pretty much follow her, so all that's left was Sierra.

"I don't mind. 一一Is there anyone who have different opinion?"

"Boo一 Boo一. And here Lulu wanted to show Sierra the fruit of her training in the training ground today."

"I'm sorry, Lulu. I will not take her tomorrow with me, so let her be with me for today, okay?"

"That was a joke. Lulu is a tolerant girl. Please do as you you have decided on."

"I really wish you could stop treating me like an object."

Lulu protested with pouted lips, though that just increased her cuteness even more.

Sierra was quite popular among everyone because she waas well-versed in socialising and her excellent abilities as a tank.

Eventually, the meeting was finalized with vanguard members continuing their Intermediate dungeon capture, 5 other members diving into another dungeon and last two members polishing their skills in the training ground.
