I looked at the newly added part into the clauses of revised request documents to check out.

• «Mechanical Carriage» delivery quest
-Reward - 78,000QP
-Academy will bear the usage fee of flute and items.
-Loaning two flute for the duration of quest along with cooperation of flute repair engineer

Something's Strange.
I rubbed the wrinkled area between my eyebrows and looked at it once again.
Nothing changed.
I have already glanced at it five times but the reward amount remained extremely incredible.
It was on the level that made me wonder “is it really fine for me to accept it? I am not being tricked, am I?”.
But I have seen reward before the negotiation and I have seen the same reward being raised through negotiation right in front of me.
It seemed there was no falsehood in this request. I wasn't deceived.
I quietly put away the request document.
For the peace of my mind.
Breath, let's put the focus on another thing. Alright.
"Since the academy is going to bear the cost of items, shall we go and buy gold selector (Intermediate) too?" (*Extremely rare item that converts a boss's treasure chest to guaranteed gold chest, ch206)
"Give it a break for god's sake."
I quickly stopped Rina who said something so outrageous walking next to me.
Any more than that would be taking advantage, wouldn't it be?
It's already enough. Splurging more than needed makes me feel a bit too guilty. Rather, I might be the one to pay for it.
My head was now hurting thinking if it was really the best idea to leave negotiation to Rina.
"I'm joking. Zephyr-san is making such a long face, so I thought I should do something to soften the mood."
The cause of it was Rina herself though, was I overthinking? No, it's not just my imagination.
But Rina also did her best in her capacity. It would be illogical to reproach her for that. First, I should thank her. Indeed.
"Ah, so that was it. Thank you, Rina. The rewards increased at once thanks to you."
"I'm glad I could be of use. I wonder if this also increased your goodwill towards me."
"Hmm? Did you say something?"
"Hohoho, not at all. Anyway, we would be hard-pressed given the 5 day time limit if we don't start with the quest as soon as possible. We should hurry up and gather all the members of Eden."
"About that, wait a minute. It's fine to not call them."
"Huh?"
I stopped Rina who had taken out her ‹Smartphone› saying we ought to hurry.
Rina, who didn't understand the meaning of my action, looked at me quizzically when I stopped her.
Well, we had to begin with our exploration right away in the normal case. That's unnecessary, however. In fact, we have the 8 flutes to use so it's rather a cakewalk.
"But it would be difficult to reach the lowest floor in 5 days even if we begin our preparation now."
"We have ‹Thunder Javelin›. So it would only take a few hours if we race down the shortest route. Something like two hours around?"
"What?"
Oh, right. I still haven't explained Rina much about this part. She was making a completely clueless and blank face.
This reminds me of mushroom filled Beg-high ‹Poisonous Mushroom Cavern Dungeon›.
We have the past record of using the carriage to aim at the lowest floor with the carriage and returning back to surface in just one hour instead of pitiful sophomores who couldn't defeat the opponent, for it was a rare boss, even if the reward was fabled ‹Gold Selector› under our belt.
Int-low dungeons were as big as three times the size of beg-high. Beg-high was only about the size of 60 floors.
To be frank, even 2 hours was just me taking it too extreme. After all, it had taken us only one hour to defeat ‹MaMa› (Rare boss), still having time to go rejoice at the gold chest and return back that time.
Grin-Grin (Triumphant expression)
"Since we're on this topic, let me tell you, we have 8 flutes which means we can try to summon a rare boss 32 times and we can most likely summon it 20 times successfully. Eden has their secret trick so we can hunt down 20 of them in a day. If we also activate the shortcut teleportation magic circle, our travel time will be reduced further. That's why you don't need to hurry, we can just do it at our usual pace."
"......... Huh? What does it actually mean..... And 8 flutes? Excuse me, did I just misheard something? I was told flutes are an extremely rare item that doesn't drop anywhere except from the gold chest of a rare boss......"
"Ah, I have 5 flutes to begin with."
"............."
And Rina finally became quiet.
I know, I understand this feeling. I might have gotten a bit too much flutes.
Yes, everything was ‹Emperor Goblin› fault. No wait, he was a good boss. Definitely.
"But the short route you talked about, the road...... Have you brought a map just in case?"
"I know everything so it is unnecessary."
"But the rule says one must return back to the entrance of the dungeon once if the boss is defeated."
"We have a secret trick for that. Don't worry, I will tell you later. It's a method where you don't have to go all the way back to fight the boss again."
"Eh, eeee!?"
"Calm down, there's no need to be surprised so much. But man, you saved us the time really. I can have enough time in our schedule since you have secured 3 flutes."
I thought I would be in a tight spot and barely able to achieve my current schedule of «Going to Beginner Dungeon with Rina today», «Guild battle on Thursday» and «job of provisional lecturer on Friday» but I could now relax with more flutes in my hand.
Rather, it was on the level you could say just a weekend would be enough to completely gather the necessary material of ‹Electric Bear-cum-Squirrel›.
That being said, our opponent was a rare boss of an int-low dungeon. I want to try challenging it with all seriousness even if we have to take time. Because it's the strongest boss for sure. There was a chance for others to be incapacitated for battle if we handled it wrongly and charged straight away from this moment. There's a possibility we might not be able to continuously hunt it down.
I have to set aside some time on Wednesday, the only day I would be free generally, to come up with a method to deal with it and training for that part. Then, we will try to challenge it a bit more seriously on weekends. I wonder if I should also show some techniques.
And then, matter regarding ‹Electric Bear-cum-Squirrel› would be sorted out.
Such was the plan I came up with.
