Rika, Karua, Lana and Ester respectively chimed in one after another when we got closer to the location from where the field boss was in our sight.

Especially Lana and Ester, they're quite harsh in their evaluation. Though it's the unfortunate truth that ‹Electro-Charge Fox› appearance was appalling for girls.

I looked at the boss with a bit of pity filled eyes.

The boss has a slim form with its physique towering two metres but unlike the cuteness of wild foxes, it looks like a famished carnivorous animal.

Field boss's drooping tongue that scatters the saliva and the haze on its narrow eyes that makes it hard to understand what's going in its mind was creating a surreal scene. Although Its body model resembles a fox, and its inverted triangle like face and the six tails...... Err, barely making it a fox? (Then what in the world is this creature?)

In short, if the girl's camp says it's not a fox, then it's not a fox.

"Let's go, Zephyr. We're gaining anything by standing here. As planned, I will go ahead and attract its hate."

The first one to act in the strategy planned was our tank Rika.

Field boss targets in the beginning of battle are settled randomly so sending a member first is an efficient step to determine the target.

Guardian boss's tales and the fur stands on its end at the sudden intruder. The target was completely on her.

"What's with its voice? Even its voice isn't cute."

"You're right, Lana-sama. It should learn to let out a cute voice if it wants to fake a fox's appearance."

Lana and Ester's evaluation dropped even lower.

"This one's name's Rika, you shall fall today to activate teleportation circle, ‹Warrior's Beginning›!"

Rika slightly distanced herself after gaining the hate. Her positioning was apt. She would be able to dodge or repel the lightning from that position.

Electro-Fox turns the tip of its tail towards Rika while slowly stepping forward. It was the sign Electro Fox is going to do a linear range attack «Electro Spark».

It was an attack where the field boss fired six straight electric charges from its six tails.

"Cheap trick! ‹Repel›!"

I felt Rika's right hand blurring for an instant just when the six lightning attack was about to land on her and soon she repelled every single of ‹Electro Spark›. All it had taken her to deal with that attack was just an instant. What terrific skills. That's why I say the warrior category is one heck of a cool job.

"Gsh-Ghs-Gsh!!"

Boss's hate metre was sky high seeing Rika repelling all of its attacks. Great, now it's time for us to make our entry.

"Do it, Lana."

"‹Blessing of the Guardian Dog›! ‹Sacred Demon's Blessing›! ‹Resist Magic!›"

"Karua, you strike from its left!"

"Hn, going. ‹Gust›!"

Lana put the attack, defence and magic resistance buff after which Karua dashed to the field boss's left side.

Nothing less from the ‹Star Cat›, she is incredibly fast on her feet.

Karua reached the left flank of ‹Electro-Fox› almost instantly using speed up skill ‹Gust› and made her move as the twin daggers in her hand glimmered.

"‹Scale Break›!"

"Gyuu!?"

Field boss let out a cry at the sudden surprise attack while it was focusing on Rika.

Amazing. I also moved to its right flank and made another surprise attack.

"‹Brave Sword›!"

"Gyaaa!?"

I was able to perform a clean hit as Electro Fox's attention was occupied by Karua on its left flank and Rika at the front.

Karua's ‹Scale Break› was a skill that lowers the opponent's defence and this should have sufficiently lowered Electro Fox defence.

Whoops, Electro Fox's tail swelled up and began to shake. That was a sign it's going to use an AoE attack!

"Retreat, Karua!"

"‹Escape Dash›!"

"No time for me to retreat huh, ‹Guard Rush›!"

Electro-Fox fired an omni-directional lightning attack no sooner than we had taken our respective countermeasures with skills.

It was an AoE attack, ‹Lightning Swirl›. The range of this attack was quite large and I wouldn't have been able to escape in time had I opted for dash. I quickly activated my defence skill and pushed forward the ‹Firmament Shield› in front of me.

"GGyaaaa!"

"Woah, this faint tingling spark, I never felt it before!"

I wonder if that's how it felt to be in the electric field as feedback from the field boss's attack had still passed on me , although I was able to defend my HP. I was baffled by this sensation from the unknown electric type attack.

Truthfully speaking, it felt nice, like a massage. Damn, isn't an electric shower actually quite fun!?

I think I now kind of understand the reason behind the joy of a certain pocket monster's main character he shows when his partner showers him with lightning.

"Wait, I will heal you quickly, Zephyr! ‹Healing Prayer›! ‹Light Blade›!"

"I'm also beginning. Haaaa, ‹Long Thrust›!"

"Hn. «Force Sonic»! «Twin Cat's Swipe»!"

"Gyuuu!?"

Lana, Ester and Karua immediately weaved their attack combos as soon as Electro Fox's lightning swirl attack ended, causing the field boss to cry in agony.

I also slapped my two hit combo of Swift strike after successfully pulling three hits ‹Guard Rush›!"

"Gyuuyuuu!"

"It is going to do a range attack ‹Hexa Blitz›! Clear the front side."

"Roger!"

"Alright!"

Six lightning stripes squirm in the ground aiming for Rika when Electro Fox slammed its tails on the ground.

Rika propped her twin blades and swiftly swung them at the incoming lightning attack that was heading towards her tracing the path like a railway track.

"This should work against attacks from the ground, ‹Low Swipe›!"

Her swift yet simple downward sweep motion was enough to offset the incoming attack, further gaining the field boss's hate.

It was about time for Electro Fox to completely focus on firing its long-range attacks at Rika who was at a distance from it. This will inevitably give us a safe time frame to make our attacks without needing to worry about its attack.

With Electro Fox hate metre tilting towards Rika, it was the perfect timing for us to pull our strongest moves.
