“Good morning~”

“You’ve finally shown up, Zephyr! As I have notified you in the morning, we’re in complete opposition against your poaching! If anything, please spare Misato from pulling to your guild!”

“.........What are you guys talking about?”

A familiar play began to play in front of me as soon as I stepped inside the classroom like always. The actors were also following their regular roles, Saturn-kun in the lead while the other three of the quartet behind him as the supporting cast.

The friendship between them is really deep.

Though if there was anything strange in their play, then it was the part played by Saturn-kun. I didn’t sense the pompous tone that he usually has in the latter half of his words, just what kind of earth-shattering event had happened to cause his never-ending pride to bend down. (‹Preparator)

It was then I suddenly remembered about the hellish morning. Wasn’t it the Saturn-kun who had ruined my sleep? I will not forgive him! For the vengeance of my sweet sleep!

“You’re going to train twice as usual today.”

“!? That’s outright tyranny, Zephyr!?”

“Fufu!? Wait a minute. I believe this and that are different. How about we discuss it nicely?”

“Impulsiveness is often the origin of disaster. Our opposition should be justified. You needn’t be so impatient.”

“How, How could this Venerable be afraid!? Re-consider your words, Zephyr. We also haven’t formed our guild just on whim. I think we need to have calm talk over it.”

The three behind Saturn-kun began to panic when I passed the punishment I had decided on to him.

I feel like we’re not on the same page.

“Ah, right, what did you message for? I couldn’t read it for a couple reasons.”

“You didn’ read it!? Explain! I had written pretty important thing on that message you know!”

Saturn-kun’s eyes snapped wide, following with his shout.

Strange. Why did he suddenly become so rebellious?

It was just my gratitude to him for disturbing my sweet sleep. That’s an interest I could squeeze only by making him work like a horse.

I couldn’t wait for the classes to be over.

“Fufu!?”

“He, He’s laughing.”

“What a terrifying smile. Look at the evilness oozing out of that smile.”

The three guys behind were making terrified expressions for some reason looking at my face. They’re always so rude.

“Li, Listen to me! First of all, the cause of everything is you trying to poach Misato from our guild!”

“What’re you saying?”

Misato was a girl from ‹Rabbitkin› category and also my classmate just like them.

Speaking about ‹Rabbitkin›; It was an amazing category which had a diverse list of jobs to choose from, like ‹Bunny›, a job that holds superior aptitude related to business trades, or ‹Time Rabbit›, a job specialising in fast footwork-battles.

And coming to MIsato, she was the holder of ‹Sage›, an excellent recovery oriented job, the best among all the possible jobs available to the members of that category.

A cutie from a glance and cheerful in her word, Misato was the target of upperclassmen in the invitation battle due to aforementioned reasons and to avoid it, she temporarily joined Saturn-kun’s guild, ‹The Best of the Best, The Great Star›, as a cover.

Sure, our guild ‹Eden› as of now lacked healer and it would be really amazing if ‹Sage› Misato joined our guild.

However, I don’t remember offering Misato an invitation to our guild… yet? I didn't, right? No wait, I might have. I've been so busy recently that it might have worn off my mind.

“So, you’re saying, Misato is leaving your ‹The Best of the Best, The Great Star› guild?”

“Yeah. Misato is a precious healer for us. There’s no way we can afford to lose her.”

“Fufu. Misato is our angel. She was the only one who showed up to accept our invitation to ‹The Best of the Best, The Great Star› just when we’re about to be pushed to the abyss after everyone had rejected us.”

“Misato is our symbol of hope. We will absolutely not give her to anyone, even if that person is you, our oppressor!”

“I swear upon the name of ‹Knight› Helck, May our bodies be reduced to smithereens, we will absolutely protect her till our last breath!”

“.........”

Come to think of it, I remember saying “I will pull Misato to our guild if they dare to skip their training” to them after rummaging through memories in order to give them a cause for motivation and stop them from wasting their potential.

It was just a ploy of mine at that time to stop them from reverting to their previous self. This has suddenly become an overblown matter.

In fact, their shout has even induced a bit of suffocation in my heart. Just why I wonder.

There was even one among them claiming her to be his angel, aren’t they quite treating her like an Idol? As far as I remember, Misato should have joined their guild on a temporary basis…… Why such outrage?

I made up my mind to hear it directly from the origin of this ruckus, and speak of the devil, she had just taken her entry in the classroom.

“Good mornin—-, mmf!?”

“Target secured!”

“Misato!?” ×4

I took her to the back of the classroom just as she took her entry and proceeded with my questioning.

“So Misato, what the hell is going on? I’m all ears if you have anything to say.”

“Mffmf!? Haaa! Wh-What was that!? What’re you saying!?

Confused shouts escaped from Misato’s mouth when I removed my hand that was blocking her mouth. Let’s see, first put up the ‹Recovery›.

“Hey-Hey, why are you casting recovery, I'm completely sane and calm just so you know!? What kind of reaction do you expect from someone when you suddenly close their mouth and drag them somewhere!?”

“Look at them.”

A glance at the situation is faster to understand than expressing a thousand words.

I pointed out at the guys behind me with my thumb.

“Damn you Zephyr! You have finally shown your true colour!”

“Fufu, get away from Misato at once. Else be ready to bear the brunt of my, ‹Knight Lv25›, power!”

“Sure enough, you were really planning to pull Misato on your side! No way, no way in hell I will let you do that!”

“Don’t you dare forget this Venerable! I will be handling him! Leave Misato now!”

Behind me were the Quartet urging me to release Misato. And even behind them were the girls of ‹Eden› silently standing there, looking ready to suppress them at any moment…

My attention was drawn more to their group than the quartet. I even felt like Sierra’s gaze pointing at me, there’s no way right?

Misato, who finally understood the situation, replied while profusely sweating.

“Ho, How about you calm down first? Look, morning assembly is just about to begin, I will make sure to keep my schedule open so let’s talk about it after classes in detail, okay? Please!”

Misato said that and followed up with a 90° bow, even her rabbit ears on her head were perfectly bent at 90°. So meticulous even in fine details…

Anyway, I released Misato after receiving her promise and somehow brought down the curtain on this small morning prelude to closure.

I’m glad for you guys. I’m sure the girls group would have immediately moved to suppress you if you had decided to act on impulse.

I also received the verdict ‹We have to talk later› from Sierra that reflexively caused my spine to freeze but somehow calmed myself down by attributing everything to Saturn-kun.”
