"A lot happened but it's great to see everyone gathered. I have something to announce today."
"You look kind of tired, Zephyr-kun. Did something happen?"
Location - ‹Eden› guild room. After settling the event in the classroom, I was finally free to visit the guild.
I was in my regular position as usual when Hannah asked in a worried tone. Uh-oh, seems like I let it out on my face.
It was the result of following a bit of a hard schedule. Not to say Saturn-kun and the other three tried to escape again which made me needlessly spend my energy to give them a lesson.
Even though I told them it's impossible to run away from Brave, was it that hard to understand? Good grief.
Not even the Demon King was able to hide away from the Brave's persistence chase and was eventually taken down. 一一You can't run away from the Brave. It was an absolute thing in the game.
Though I'm glad Mistao was there and under her urging did they themselves returned back to training. I had gone full Spartan then.
Taking the time, I also handed Misato my special manual I had devised for them. “Sorry that they're causing you so much trouble, I will make sure to supervise them”, Misato assured me. Though I could feel her face slightly twitching when she saw the content of the manual.
After that I hand everything to Misato to left for here.
"Just a bit of trouble in the morning. It's settled now so don't worry. Anyway, more important is the announcement. We have successfully completed one of the ‹Dean's Quest› accepted a while ago. And guess what, the reward is 520,000 QP."
"520,000... That's an amazing number."
"Is that number really that amazing? It doesn't seem much though."
Sierra remarked with an impressed tone at my announcement, though its value went over the head for Lana.
Well, I guess it's because our usual reward went in millions in Mir. Without knowing the value of QP, several hundred thousands would of course make her feel it lackluster.
However 520,000 was a number that let alone a small E-rank guild, even a D-rank guild wouldn't have seen at once.
"Of course, the Quest Point utility value is high, so you know. They're used to exchange for the materials, items and equipment that you can't get through normal means and not only that, they're also used to avail the benefits of academy's equipment and facilities and many more. Guild rooms are the academy's rented property; however , you can use QP to set-up better equipment or even renovate it to give the room a more luxurious outlook."
I had noted down everything that Phyllis-sensei had mentioned. Remodeling time too was two days, just how it was in the game. Skills are amazing.
"Though if we decide to remodel our guild now, we would have to pay further to return the room to its original form when it will be time to change guild room, so the current plan is to leave that aspect untouched until we reach C-rank and get our guild house."
Given the moment, I also mentioned my take on remodeling. No matter how many QP we have, they wouldn't be enough if we just use them on interior and other things.
"Ohh, what a pity. I wanted to give the room a more pretty and cute outlook."
"So many plushies aren't enough for you?!"
In fact, even Lulu and several girls nodded at Lana's remarks , I really want them to take a more careful at the room.
It hasn't been that long for the guild to start and yet, there were already around 50 adorable plushies from animal type to deformed monster type in this room.
I don't know from where they did get it but they also have a shelf and for plushies dress case set-up.
I'm sure It's not just my imagination that I'm seeing the increase in their population every time I visit the guild room.
"There are no more increase plushies. No longer we have ‹Fluffy Furball›."
"I wonder if the preparator was Karua."
Now that they said it, I remembered ‹Spe-Fat› dropped material for plushie, ‹Fluffy Hairball› ×10.
Had it been the players of ‹Dungeon Player› burning in excitement for exploration, they would have sold it and done with it. Karua apparently had turned all of them into plushies. Well, they are more or less rare materials. Though a missed drop for me.
Anyway, I got derailed from the topic but the room felt more like it belonged to plushies than us. If I let them continue like this, my value as a boy will keep descending into minus.
I made up my mind to stop them from getting anymore plushies till we atleast have multi-room guild house.
"So, have you already decided what you're going to use QP for?"
"Yeah, we are just done with one request. And Sierra and other members are also doing their best for the second one, so I am thinking of throwing away a members appreciation party."
I stopped on my words for a while there and then proposed my plan.
"‹Ingredients & Livestocks Dungeon›, one of the Extra-dungeon that can only be used after paying QP. I am thinking of getting high-quality stuff from here and then throwing a party using these items, what do you guys think?"
‹Extra-Dungeon›, a general term used to refer to the resources-rich dungeon that has no connection to the usual grade or whatsoever.
Their numbers are very scarce so they're strictly managed by the Kingdom and require permission to enter.
And since labyrinth academy is a place for learning, one can get the permission to enter in them as long as they pay the required QP. Also, there is no cap on the members entry unlike the usual dungeon, you can say they're the dungeon you can use to collect resources.
That's why it's a special dungeon.
Though ‹Ingredients & Livestock Dungeon› wasn't exactly free of monsters either but they're very weak, around as much as the Beg-Mid and even then they are very few in numbers. Instead, you will see a lot of animals popping up more frequently.
In term of harvesting, one can pick-up fresh vegetables and fruits 一 they, too, grow up spontaneously and even without anyone care 一 from there.
The grades of ingredients vary depending on the level so I want to get the ones from deep levels.
Not only that, there are also beach dungeons facing the sea among extra-dungeons. It's a nice dungeon where you can capture fish or play in the sea. Maybe it's because there are such dungeons that ‹Dungeon Activity› has a good range of swimsuit equipment.
Although I didn't use that feature when my goal was straight, only exploring when I was dead set on it, I also often used it whenever I played a NG+ where my focus was on characters and continuing while taking screenshots of them.
Anyway, back to the main topic一一
"That sounds nice! I will get a lot of delicious items!"
"Hn, I like delicious things."
"Lulu also loves delicious things! Lulu absolutely wants to participate!"
"I will cook them to the best of my skills!"
Lana, Karua, Lulu and Hannah replied respectively. They all had their hands curled in fist as they fully supported the idea.
Ah, I'm glad. I was wrecking my brain all the time how to use QP for the first time, I guess everyone liked the idea.
"What do you think, Sierra?"
"Well, It's fine I guess. I'm sure this will also raise their motivation. I was worried about the schedule since it was everyday full of dungeons or practice. It's nice to see this proposal coming from you, it conveys you're seriously thinking about the guild."
Alright, Sierra is in too. Though her words were kinda embarrassing.
Anyway, this settles our upcoming schedule. I was quite worried that they may not be burned out from repeating the same thing day after day.
Specially the lack of motivation and excitement is a more serious problem when progressing on a game.
Once someone had said the line; Efficiency is the battle against boredom. It should be a good idea to do it once in a while huh. (Once in a while huh……)
‹Ingredients & Livestocks Dungeon› is a 20 floor deep dungeon so we would need to give one whole day to it and we still have Saturday to collect the final batch of materials needed for ‹Dean's Quest› so Sunday sounds like a nice day for it.
