I hurried to reiterate the usefulness of ‹Lightning Armour› under the frosty stare 一 that was almost like the glimpse of cocytus 一 of Sierra as she straight out rejected my plea.
I mean, we're talking about an item from a rare boss's ‹Gold Chest› you know. Let's not talk about things, just talking about the equipment alone, it was sufficiently strong to stay relevant in a High-low dungeon without having to opt for ‹Equipment Reinforcement Jewel›. Its benefits are endless.
Then I spoke out why I pay for it through the guild's balance.
"I want to use it for our guild. Well, by loaning it of course. ‹Lightning Armour› is extremely effective against thunder attributes, and shines in dungeons infused with lightning-attributes."
Of course it's a fine set of equipment to be used in other dungeons or places beside them but that isn't the point now.
The point is, the need for equipment that provides resistance against terrain damage, attribute attacks, abnormal status conditions etc that starts popping up from high-ranking dungeons.
So do every member have to buy such equipment with their own money? As of now, the rule in ‹Eden› is «Prepare your own equipment at your discretion».
However wouldn't it be easier for everyone's pocket if we get 5 sets and use them in turn? This is one of the fundamentals in RPG. Well that's why.
"This equipment series will be a joint property of the guild. So anyone can use it when they need it. Naturally, I'm not saying to do it for free. They will have to pay a rental fee, no exception."
Even the ‹Juvenile Dragon› Marie-senpai has been using is a joint property of her guild. The usage fee, too, is collected from the customers and paid back to the guild.
Then there should not be any harm in trying the same thing with equipment, no? As for the size problem, it will be kinch with ‹Emblem Seal Sticker›.
I cannot deny that 一 as the long-term habit that had etched into me after pouring so many hours in the game 一 I may have gotten carried away in the excitement rush, but it had also been in my mind lately to prepare some equipments for guild members where they can borrow them anytime they want, instead of just for me.
I frantically explained all this to Sierra.
"I see."
"Sigh so I have finally your understood."
I exhaled a relieved sigh hearing Sierra's reply while wiping the sweat.
However she still didn't stop giving me her frosty gaze, and then, she passed her verdict.
"This is that and losing yourself in an excitement rush is another. Minus point for making decisions without prior contact, this is unforgivable even if you're Guild Master. I believe you wouldn't mind paying for one of the equipment, right?"
"Ah......, Well, how about we call it off from the ‹Flute› cost......"
"Did you say something?"
"N, no......."
I'm sorry for making an impulsive purchase with the guild's money.
The quiet smile hanging on Sierra's face was terrifying.
Though I would like to believe she has at least acknowledged their value so things wouldn't be too rough for me.......
Anyway, time to change the topic.
We exchanged information on what we had done yesterday after that and then started morning meeting.
"So it seems Sierra's party has successfully gathered the final round of materials to complete ‹Dean's Quest›."
" " "Yay." " "
I passed the information I received from Sierra a while back to which, members responded with small cheers of excitement and applause.
Using the 8 flutes loaned to them, Sierra's party of Hannah, Lulu, Pamela, Celia and she herself managed to summon the rare boss ‹Shaman Marionette› with enough time. Though being only able to summon it 19 out of 32 times was on the lower side, still, it was acceptable with them achieving the material quota necessary for ‹Mechanical Carriage›.
Well, if it's just about the material for carriage, just 40 of rare boss material were enough, but it was such a heaven sent opportunity that it would be against divine providence if we don't grab it quick and need not to say, they had gotten a massive amount of materials piled up.
They fought the rare boss 19 times, so a total of 190 materials. They can still be used so I guess we will be keeping the leftovers. Fufufu, absolute win.
"Materials have been passed to that craftsman, err was it Gant-san. He said he will not fail to meet the month's end deadline."
Hannah threw her hand in the air and informed us.
Alright, now we just need to wait for it to be delivered.
"As for flutes, Celia was in charge of them."
"Yes. I got them first thing in the morning. I'm returning them here, Zephyr-dono."
"Oh, registered."
I see, so Sierra was in charge of keeping the report and other miscellaneous things while Celia was in charge of taking the flutes to that Explosive Flop guil....... Ahem ‹Let's Become A Bomber Together› guild.
But apparently materials weren't enough at that time so they weren't ready until today's morning. I guess that's where Celia must have gone after splitting with Lulu on the way to the guild.
I confirmed the count was indeed reset to 5 and stored 6 ‹Flute› away. I left the two flutes borrowed from Dean in Celestine's hand to return back.
We went through mine and Lana reports after that and finally, it was time to talk about today's main event.
"It's finally Extra-Dungeon day everyone! We will head to the entry gate of Extra-Dungeon after the meeting, and hunt and collect and collect till evening! Raise your hand if anyone has an objection!"
But of course, none present there raised their hand.
Or not... Sierra and Shizu raised their hands.
"What's the QP cost for Extra-Dungeon, also, have you completed all the procedures to enter there?"
I see, so that's what it is.
Extra-Dungeon are the treasure trove of resources and also extremely valuable dungeons that support mankind so they aren't as easily accessible as normal dungeons.
There's no entry if we haven't made arrangements beforehand. Sierra's question was to clarify that.
"If it's just that... Celestine, you take from here."
Celestine should have been done with everything that was needed so I passed the baton to him.
"Understood. I have already gone through all the required procedures last week. So we can enter ‹Livestock and Foodstuff Dungeon› for today. Also, the cost to apply for it was 10,000 QP."
"10,000QP...... So pricey..."
Sierra muttered in daze hearing Celestine's words.
QP conversion rate is 1QP = 1000Mir. So 10,000QP Is equivalent to 10 million Mir.
This might indeed be too costly. Though it's hard to go against the delicious things.
Besides, the average completion reward of an E-rank guild settles around 1500QP. Saving 10,000 QP would need a bone breaking effort.
But that average reward ceiling is increased to 10,000QP for D-rank guilds. So, if you consider it's just a D-rank category quest reward in exchange for a day in Extra-Dungeon, the offer doesn't sound bad.
Above all, the rewards offered by the Extra-Dungeon are so significant that they make it a worthwhile transaction. Well, it's still the foodstuff in the end though.
It's hard to defy good food! Hannah's handmade food is the best!
Exhale Calm down me.
Next, I turned to the next person who had raised her hand.
"What do you want to know, Shizu?"
"Yes, so Extra-Dungeon basically doesn't have monsters, but it's not like they're completely devoid of them, right? What's their strength range, may I ask?"
"Their strength huh. Even the strongest monster there is just on the level of monsters from the upper strata of the Beg-Mid dungeon. And even if they try to attack, well they will be pulverized in an instant."
"I see. That's all I need to know."
"Alright, if there's no more questions, then I announce the meeting is over. Let's set-off!"
" "Let's gooo!!" "
Lulu and Karua pumped their first in mid-air as soon as I finished speaking.
After that we headed to the area where Extra-Dungeon is.
"It kind of feels impressive to be like this."
On the way, Lana said so with a voice full of emotion, Ester nodding alongside.
"Well yeah, it's the first time our guild is acting as a whole. We sure have expanded in members in contrast to how it used to be in beginning."
"Right. We're already 13 members now"
I looked at Eden's members.
We usually move in a unit of party but it was today that we were collectively acting as one group on guild basis.
As Ester said, it was indeed our first combined initiative. This has inflated my excitement even more.
"Ah, there it is. This is the ‹Extra-Dungeon› or to go by its alias, ‹Ex-Dun›."
Everyone's gaze turned to the building at my voice.
There, it was the similarly designed green-roof building as the ‹Beginner Gate› or ‹Intermediate Gate›. However if anything was different, then it was its sheer size which was five times of them.
It felt like we were in a city when we entered.
An auction was ongoing in one place, with several stern-looking adults bidding for them.
This was the one of the centers for food affairs. The foremost valuable facility in this world, the world where anything can be found in the dungeon.
