Chapter 15: Chapter 15:?System Mall: Deactivated
April 3, 2600
6:00 a.m.
The real-world time passed swiftly, and the sun began to illuminate the surroundings with its warm light.
"Young master, wake up," a maid gently tried to rouse me from my sleep.
"Okay, I'm awake. I'll freshen up," I replied, starting my morning routine. An hour later...
Having completed all my morning tasks, I sat down, reflecting, "That wasn't just training; it was a relentless battle for survival."
Flashbacks...
The first two hours went smoothly, with gradual improvements in my stats.
However, from the third hour onward, it turned into a nightmare.
Hordes of monsters and players relentlessly pursued me in the simulation training.
I died so many times that I became desensitized to death, but I persevered because it was all part of the training.
Despite the difficulties, the training was fruitful, strengthening my foundation and enabling me to absorb all the stat crystals.
Additionally, I successfully upgraded my techniques and skills to a certain extent.
The mechanics of chaos training seemed impossible, but in this absurd world, anything was possible.
I convinced myself to push forward.
Flashbacks end...
Present...
I clenched my hand, feeling that my stat points had indeed significantly increased.
Curious about my progress, I checked my status and saw a smile bloom on my face.
"All my stat points are maxed out, and my techniques and skills have also upgraded to a certain level."
[Note: I have upgraded all the techniques and skills that were frequently used during the simulation training.]
Suddenly, a memory resurfaced in my mind.
"Neo, transport me to where all the skeletons are," I calmly requested, recalling that I had instructed them to clear as many F-grade dungeons as possible in 7 hours.
[Alright]
I found myself transported back to the same dungeon.
"Master," a voice reached my ears as the skeletons gathered around me, having already cleared all the monsters in the dungeon.
I glanced at my mana points, which had reached 16,000, and decided to name as many skeletons as I could. The naming process continued.
[Ding...]
[A D-rank and 11 E-rank monsters have inherited the names]
[They have been successfully evolved]
[They have gained egos]
[All stat attributes have been increased]
Small [D] [General]
Strength: 400
Constitution: 350
Intelligence: 450
Spirit: 500
Grade: General
Rank: D
Trait: Undead Form [A]
Fine [E] [Soldier]
Strength: 100
Constitution: 80
Intelligence: 90
Spirit: 70
Grade: Soldier
Rank: E
Trait: Undead Form [B]
"Master," everyone said softly as they emerged from their cocoons.
"Alright," I replied and pondered for a moment before saying, "All of you have gained sentience, and I've decided that you will live like a family from now on."
"Okay, master."
"Alright, let's go," I said, transporting back to my room.
"What a mess," I thought, deciding to call my uncle for assistance.
Butler's POV...
I was managing the businesses with Zhu Zhen when a phone call came in.
"Uncle, I need your help," came Sam's voice from the other side.
"Did something happen?" I asked quickly.
"No, uncle, calm down. Nothing bad has happened, don't worry."
"Then tell me, what kind of help do you need?" I inquired.
"Uncle, I need your help in constructing a building that can accommodate around 200 people."
"What! 200 people? Young master, what are you planning?" I narrowed my eyes, concerned.
"It's a secret," he teased.
Sighing, I replied, "Alright, as you wish, young master. I will construct a building for 200 people next to the villa.
But always ensure your safety and never put yourself in danger for others, okay?"
"Okay, uncle, I promise not to put myself in danger," he assured me.
"Alright, young master," I said helplessly.
"Thanks, uncle," he expressed his gratitude before ending the call.
Sam's POV...
"Huh! The issue has been resolved," I thought, feeling the pressure ease.
"I'll take a break for a while," I told the skeletons, sending them back to clear the dungeon in Undead form to avoid attracting attention.
"Let's see how much they've accomplished in the 7 hours of hunting," I pondered and summoned the inventory panel.
Inventory: [4000 F-grade stat crystals and 84 E-grade strength stat crystals, 3164 monster carcasses, 15,285 gold coins]
"What! 4000 F-grade stat crystals!" I exclaimed in disbelief at the staggering numbers.
"Neo, how many dungeons did they clear?" I asked.
[14 F-grade dungeons]
"No wonder I have such a ridiculous number of stat crystals," I thought.
As I reached my school, a notification popped up from Neo:
[Neo]
[The main function 'System Mall' of the Supreme Exchange System has been deactivated for 3 years]
"Well, I've already purchased all the necessary items," I thought to myself as I arrived at school.
In Class Xth, the homeroom teacher announced the results from the novice dungeon. Wang Feng gleefully informed me, "Sam, I'm in 3rd place."
Smirking, I replied, "I'm in 1st place."
"You're leading by a mile, boss," Wang Feng teased.
"Fatty, I know what you mean," Sam retorted, rolling his eyes.
"Boss, Su Yanran was checking you out just now," Wang Feng exclaimed mischievously.
"You're such a fatty!" I playfully cursed and began to lightly hit him.
Su Yanran's perspective:
"I got 2nd place as expected, but I was outperformed in every field," Su Yanran thought sadly.
Unconsciously, an image of Sam crossed her mind; he excelled in every aspect of education, and she couldn't help but steal a glance at him.
As she turned her head, Wang Feng caught her in the act.
"What?" she exclaimed in her mind, feeling a faint blush creeping onto her cheeks. n//O/)v)-E/(l-(b/-I))n
She had inadvertently witnessed a teasing moment between Sam and Wang Feng as she turned her head.
...
"Oh, I'm in 20th place, which means I'll be in Section A."
"Thank goodness! I'm in 50th place; otherwise, I'd have been in Section B."
"How is this possible? I'm in 80th place."
Many students cheered at their ranks, while others cursed and regretted not preparing enough.
