157 Chapter 157 – Overflowing powers

The classes had to be dismissed earlier because their teacher was fired. The students all looked her way in a look in surprise. Some gazes held fear and some children even had tears in their eyes.

Even though her fellow students were all acting so mature all these days, they too were children. It showed at that moment.

The kids all looked at her like she was the worst kind of monster.

Feng focused her eyes on Clarina, who was sobbing so painfully. She hugged Fiona crying. “why did you do it for me? I told you not to... you mustn’t have done it....” her sobs sounded legit.

If Feng had not known of her character before, she would have definitely taken pity on a girl’s cry like this. But she knew who Clarina was.

She glanced at Elle. “I’m going to visit my master. What are your plans for the day? If you are free, do you wish to come along with me?”

Giggling, the girls ran through the empty hallway. Their guards followed after them, making sure they were taking the right route.

As they walked in, Elle started to look around. “it’s really so... different from my class hallways. They are all bright and shiny, but this.... why isn’t anyone cleaning this place? Wait, I remember. Most hallways are maintained by respective masters, who have their classrooms there.”

“My master does not have powers,” Feng added with a smile.

Reaching the door, Feng opened it without knocking

Elle hesitantly knocked on the open door and walked in.

The dingy lab was still in a bad state.

Just as Feng walked into the room, every beaker in her room lit up with a golden glow. It was like thousands of fireflies had landed in their room, glowing and emitting golden dust in the air.

“oh my fucking god!!! What is going on?” Hary frantically ran around picking every beaker and container in the lab.

“is this supposed to happen?” Elle whispered softly.

Hary finally noticed their arrival. “you’re early and who is this miss?”

“you’ve seen her, master. This is my Elle.”

Feng stepped up to him. “why is this happening? did you make a great scientific discovery or something?”

Just as she got close the beaker in Hary’s hand glowed so brightly that the liquid boiled over and shatter right in his hand.

Feng froze. “is that supposed to happen?”

“no... Feng, what did you do? Why are your powers out of control?”

“Huh?” Feng looked back at Elle. She did not feel like that. Everything was normal with her body except a few body aches. “I’m not out of control.”

“You just exploded my sample by standing close to it. Your powers are out of control. He held Feng’s wrist softly,

Elle cleared her throat. “Thou shall not hold a young lady’s hand without proper consent.”

“My dear short lady, I have to check your dear Feng’s health right away.” He said with a sense of urgency.

Elle frowned and moved close to them.

Even Feng was startled by his serious tone. “Is it bad?”

Feng suddenly felt that crushing pain in her shoulders. her shoulder that had healed distorted and twisted right in front of his eyes.

“AHHHHHH!!!!!” screaming, she fell to the ground. The pain was too much. It was too much.

“She used her powers!” Elle said, pulling Feng onto her lap.

The twins were the first to arrive, with the principal in tow behind them.

Ethan and Aiden were devastated seeing Feng in so much pain. They were also furious to see her hurt like this. “Who did this!” Ethan cried, hugging Feng’s soft hands.

“He... he said it’s her powers. he said it going out of control....” Elle glanced up at the principal. “You.... Help her... please”

The principal shook his head slowly. “I can’t do anything, child. Time ability users like her are very rare. I’ve never seen a situation like his before.”

“do something!” Aiden screamed, tugging his pants.

The principal physically looked saddened by this. he hugged Aiden close wordlessly.

“You know Feng’s mentor’s mentor, right?” Elle said, after calming herself.

The principal paused and nodded.

“Find him. Find him or else I will reveal your secrets!!!”

The principal’s expression fell. “Young lady, you are playing a very dangerous game.”

“I don’t care! Fine him! I don’t care about anything, so find him! Or else the world will know what you are hiding!” Elle screamed.

He glared at her deeply. “What if I say no?”

“Master....” Aiden sobbed, hugging his leg. “Please....”

The principal’s glare melted away instantly. He gently picked him up and hugged him. “shhh don’t cry... ill find him. But it won’t be easy. He is known to be a wandering mage. Everyone froze.

Elle shot up. “What if we can take her to pale with no time particles? What then? Can we isolate her like that until we find your master?”
