Chapter 199 - 199 chapter 196

199 chapter 19“Child? What has gotten into him?” Xia whispered softly. “Hey, what do you mean by that?”

“Do I need to spell it out to you, ‘sigh’ you are pregnant darn it. P.R.E.G.N.A.N.T!!” Oli shouted out loud.

“Huh? You stupid Kirin, how can a man be pregnant?” Xia casually said and rolled over in his bed. “I am pregnant, huh? What a joke? Can a pregnant person do this?” he shot up on the bed and jumped vigorously.

“AHHHH!!! You get down now!!!” Oli swiftly jumped up and caught him safely. With a swift pull, he took the duvet from the bed and rolled him up in his duvet safely. He tucked it in the corner, making a small roll out of him. “You…..you…. bastard, do you wish to kill your child? During this period you should be precautious,”

Xia peaked out from the small gap above. “yaa, is this your fetish? Why are you making fun of me all day long? I’m so tired to listen to your bullshit,” with cold eyes he glared at him.

Oli sighed once again. ‘definitely…..definitely he is crazy. No wonder he is that crazy bastard’s mate….’ He massaged her aching head and glanced down at the wiggling worm. “Listen, I don’t wish to harm you or your child but I can’t prevent you from harming yourself so stop being so destructive. What did that innocent child in you do for you to treat him like that?”

The wiggling worm on the bed paused. His shining black eyes peered directly at him. “Do—do you mean it? I’m pregnant?” his voice broke. Inside the blanket, he softly caressed his small bump. “Not possible, I think you mean a food baby,”

“Idiot, you are carrying a real baby. Believe me or not, you know medicine right. Go ahead, check your pulse you will know,” Oli grumbled and freed him out of his sheets.

Like a zombie, Xia slowly sat up. His hands trembled violently as he reached for his wrist. His pulse was steady and strong, but alongside he also heard a soft heart beat. “I—something is in me!”

.....

“Oh darn it, it’s a baby,” Oli repeated like a recording. He had to repeat himself so many times that his throat had already gone sore. He brought the water can up and gulped it down. His sight went over to the frozen Xia. “Do you believe me now?”

“…..”

“The healer said that you at least two weeks pregnant. It’s a dangerous time, so take good care of your body…”

“…..”

“Take your pills on time. I’ve arranged it so that you can take it one for breakfast, lunch and dinner,”

“…..”

“Hey, say something,” he waved in front of his face. Xia remained frozen in shock with one of his hands cradling his belly. “Why are you so shocked? You had it coming; with your cultivation, tsk, tsk, you really shouldn’t have slept with that bastard when he was in his rut. You know that they are super fertile that time,” he casually said.

“But—but I’m a guy,” Xia softly whispered.

“So, I told you right, dragons are super fertile during rut. Even a man can get knocked up. No joke there,”

“Long said….Long said it’s not possible,” Xia mumbled softly with his eyes wide open. He couldn’t deny it anymore; there was actually a life inside of him.

“It actually is not possible, but you seem to be a special case. Ne, you are cultivating Demonic Yin cultivation, right? Don’t you know that demons who cultivate it, even men, can get pregnant? When I was checking your pulse, I felt your strong demonic aura. I…”

Xia crawled closer and caught his lapels. “I—I don’t understand anything. What demonic yin?”

Oli was caught by surprise. He peered into his eyes, but the silly crayfish in front of him seemed to be genuinely shocked. “You didn’t know about it? Didn’t your teacher teach you anything?”

Xia sat back and peered at him. “I was taught by my mother,”

” your mom taught you demonic cultivation? Wow, she is definitely progressive,”

Xia jumped up front and dragged him close. “Answer me what is demonic yin cultivation?”

Oli sighed, he shook off his hand and smoothed down the crinkles on his collar. “geez, you really don’t know anything…..demonic Yin cultivation well its one of the demonic cultivations that was created by a heavenly cultivator. Back then there was a story that circulated amongst the masses that this cultivator had a male lover that he held so dear. They both wanted a child of their own, but since they both were men, it was not possible. Disgruntled by this fact, his heart deviated into demon cultivation.” He glanced at Xia, who was keenly listening.

“He went into seclusion and created ‘demonic Yin cultivation’ it gave him the power to hold a fetus inside of him. He had four healthy children too... to pass on this technique he writes it down as a manual and stored it safely in his secret lair,” Oli paused. ‘How did this silly crayfish find it though?’

“What happened next,” Xia anxiously whispered.

“That cultivation manual disappeared and looks like you found it.” Oli shrugged and stood up. “Good for you, your love for that stupid bastard was so much that you deviated into demonic cultivation.” he clapped and walked away.

Xia swiftly clung to the end of his shirt. “But I …I didn’t cultivate it. I’m not a demon, I’m not a Rakshasa,” he whispered, shaking his head violently.

Oli swiftly caught his head and peered down. “Then how do you have demonic energy inside of you? Did it magically appear?”

Xia was blown away beyond words. ‘Did Lian Hua cultivate this technique? Is it passed on with my soul?’ He had once heard about cultivation being passed on into their next rebirth. ‘but—but I did not expect to be a prime example of it.’

‘Why did he cultivate such a manual, though? Did—did he crave for a child with Wei Long?’ all these questions remained unanswered and the person who could answer them had already disappeared.

He softly patted his pounding heart. “Will the child be healthy… if it’s brown through this cultivation,” unknowing to him hot tears dripped down his face.

Oli shook his head. “Not sure, I’ve only heard stories about it. I’ve never been in contact with it,” he sat down on the corner of the bed and held his hand. “Look Xia, don’t over think things, for now you have a child in you and you have to do everything and anything to protect yourself. That includes taking a good rest and eating well. Hmmm got it?”

Xia wiped his eyes roughly. “hmm….why are you so kind to me?”

Oli’s expression froze. He swiftly pulled his hand away and cleared his throat. “Go to sleep,” he growled loudly and dashed out the room leaving behind Xia who was still in a daze.

The entire day he did nothing but eat like a pig and think about everything. It was still a miracle that there was a living being inside of him. He could not believe it. He softly caressed the small bulge. “Little child, you in there, can you hear me?” he whispered softly.

The door slowly opened and the blue-haired man walked in with a huge tray. “It’s too early for that. Most likely the child had not formed ears yet,” he whispered and placed the tray next to him. “Eat well and sleep. Don’t stay up late.”

Xia nodded and took the tray in joy. “Mister…wait, can I ask you something?”

Oli paused next to the door. “What is it?”

“Come here, it’s not just one question,” Xia gestured for him to sit on the chair next to the bed.

Sighing, Oli walked in and plopped don it. “Ask away,”

“So.... This child, how will it be born? I don’t ‘ahem’ necessarily have womanly parts…..sooo,”

“I’ve not seen this situation before, but most likely the child will be cut out of you,” Oli said simultaneously.

Xia went pale n fright. “C—cut out of me!!”

“Yah, how else do you think men can give birth? You can magically pop out can you?” Oli grumbled. This question-answer session with this man was irritating as heck, but he was holding back from shouting aloud. ‘He is pregnant and in stress because of me…I have to be patient,’ he mentally chatted as he smirked at him.

Xia watched him curiously. “How long will I carry this child?”

“Full term, nine or ten months….I guess,” he said hesitantly.

Xia nodded and picked up the bowl of porridge. His stomach was already growling loudly. Taking a spoon full of porridge, he moaned softly. “This is delicious,” he whispered.

“Of course, I made it personally,” Oli grumbled with a soft blush.

Xia chuckled at his remark. “Oli, I don’t know why you are so kind to me but...thank you,” he whispered without looking at him.

Oli suddenly shot up and rushed out the room in a hurry. “You better eat your pills,” he shouted as he threw himself out the door.

Watching this Xia was even more puzzled. ‘Is he a bad guy or a good guy?’ he thought as he chewed on a piece of carrot.
