Chapter 39: Agon’s Special Ability

Chapter 39: Agon’s Special Ability

Agon liked to think that he had no weaknesses. But he grew up with superstitious old people in a village where they told him countless horror stories.

Hey! Jag-off, the teacher is calling you!" Anika called out.

Immediately the mirrors shattered into a million pieces and turned into light particles. Then those light particles swirled around in a place about twenty yards away and formed into Sei. He had a relaxed posture and stared toward the stands of the colosseum.

A girl was sitting down, with her elbows leaning on her knees and using her hands to hold her head upright. "What're you looking at? I know I'm beautiful, but feminine-looking guys aren't my type. Though feminine guys are still better than losers."

Sei didn't answer her and used one of his mirrors as a foothold to fly off at breakneck speeds.

As soon as he left, Anika gritted her teeth and swore under her breath. "Fuck! Fuck! Damn it! He has already mastered his special ability to this degree! I will never be able to catch up if things keep going this way."

But she didn't continue complaining for long and walked onto the colosseum arena. Then she created balls of light all near her and moved them around.

She had gotten into a state of training without any difficulty. As if he wasn't even here.

Though she didn't say it, Agon understood what she was going through.

Outsiders could never imagine what it felt like when people surpassed themcreating such a distance between him and them that he would never have a chance to catch up.

Booom!... A large explosion strong enough to blow up a small house rang out.

As expected, Anika was talented and a hard worker. Suppose this was any other generation she would have been considered a monster. But with Sei here putting a fire under her, she's training harder.

He felt sorry for her. Anika was probably haunted by her falling behind. She probably was sad-

"Fuck! That bitchy looking bastard! I'm going to kill him one day!"

Okay, maybe she wasn't that sad. Her feelings probably (definitely) were more centered toward extreme rage.

After a while, the whole stadium was a mess, with craters all around it. Agon had stayed hidden behind one of the seats of the colosseum. He was lucky not to have been hit by a stray shot.

Thankfully, Anika had stopped shooting deadly beams of destruction. She took a deep breath and sat on one of the stands close to him.

'She won't kill me, right?' Even he wasn't sure about that. Logic didn't apply to certain people in this school.

Suddenly Anika turned toward him, and she had veins popping in her face.

This girl had an anger problem!

"What do guys like?" She asked out of nowhere.

Agon felt his brain short-circuiting. Had he heard it wrong?

No, no, maybe he should look at this in a different light. Agon's heart skipped a beat.

Did Anika have feelings for him? After all, why else would she ask such a question?

Sure, go right ahead, he shrugged.

As soon as I touched the sword, a creeping coldness ran down my spine. My body shook.

Yes, this should be it!

I didnt dare unsheathe the sword as it lived up to its reputation as a cursed weapon. I wasnt someone who could handle things like this due to the power of friendship. If I unsheathed this sword right now, I would probably rampage and start killing people.

Heh, at least now I have a backup plan. My own rage moment power increases. It almost made me feel special. Except my power would definitely kill everyone around me. The lingering spirit in the sword would probably kill my friends first.

The days of a side character were relatively peaceful. It mainly consisted of watching Agon go about and be picked on by others. The scenarios were largely cliche, of the jealous seniors and all that.

Heh, so youre the loser of the junior generation, a cruel-smiled senior with ears like an elf said.

He wasnt speaking to me though. But to Agon. Who immediately stood up and faced the bully. What do you want?

You insulted my friend yesterday and sent him to the hospital! He clenched his fist and punched hard. A human-sized wooden doll manifested next to him and started punching too.

That must be his special ability. If I had an ability like that I would have started yelling Ora! Ora! Ora! Ora! by now. Hell, if there weren't drawbacks to creating too many special abilities, I would have made a JoJo stand just to pass time.

Agon immediately activated his Ord and put his hands up in a defensive position. The punches of the wooden puppet were fast. I could barely see them. But Agon wasnt even pushed back by the punches, so they likely didnt have any kind of power behind them.

Screw off! Agon yelled out, and all of his Ord gathered toward his right fist. The fast punches that weren't doing any damage before were causing him to bleed from the nose and mouth.

But I didnt care about any of that and instead stared at the fist gathering an enormous amount of Ord.

{Super Impact!}

Of course, he called out his attacks name and punched the doll. Which shattered the thing to a thousand pieces, but he didnt stop there and charged forward with the same punch and hit the senior student.

Though the wooden doll had weakened the punch, the senior student coughed out a mouth full of blood and was blasted into the classroom wall. His body smashed through the wall and landed in the hallway.

Agon had a wide-eyed look on his face as if surprised by the power of his own attack. This was probably the first time he had used it.

He had finally created his own Special Ability. About a week or two before he would have created it originally, which was quite impressive.

Though the ability was simple in nature, it had an endless amount of potential to grow the more Ord the user had to put in it. With Yamata No Orochi sealed in him, saying that he had a lot of Ord would be an understatement.

While thinking of Ultimate Class Demons, I glanced at Carpy, the carp fish in the fish bowl on the corner of my desk.

Putting the fish bowl on my head and balancing it. I used Ord to manipulate my hair to get a grip on the bowl. It was to train Ord control, and the grip was a bit weak.

I walked out of the classroom and poked the fallen senior on his chest.

Unlike normal, where one would touch the unmoving bones. I felt bones that shifted away, and caused him to cough. Yep, those look broken. Probably poking a lung too. I know that feeling. Dont take deep breaths.

If he didnt have the wooden doll to absorb the power of the blow, that punch would have killed him.
