Chapter 89: Smells Like Mom

"My Lady."

"My Lady."

"My Lady..."

Aria walks down the corridor of Josephine's house, and every servant she passes bows respectfully before continuing their way with trays of food and drink.

She barely glances at them and proceeds with swift steps until she reaches the women's restroom, which is also in front of the men's. She quickly enters the spacious restroom and heads straight for the sink, where a large mirror hangs on the wall.

"Siiiiigh..." Aria looks at her reflection in the mirror, a face slightly flushed, sweaty, and excited. "What's wrong with me?!"

She stretches her hand and touches the image of her face in the mirror; the resemblance to her son even makes her own face remind her of Arthur, his devilishly seductive body, his quick and precise movements, the dark glint in his eyes, his brutality toward his enemies...

'Why does that violence excite me?!?' Aria clenches her hands into fists. 'I've never liked that... it can't be the violence... but rather his intensity? All that fury because of m...'

"Huf... huf..." Aria feels her breathing become heavy; her body continues to heat up uncontrollably, the image of Arthur beating those nobles brutally replaying in her mind. 'Why does that affect me so much?!?'

She's too focused on trying to control her emotions, but her senses are alert, and she hears footsteps in the corridor, not of servants but calm and silent steps, Arthur, of course.

'Huh?' Aria looks towards the door and uses her senses to analyze Arthur's actions on the other side. He stops, staring at the door to the women's restroom, each looking at one side of it. 'No, darling... don't... do...'

Arthur is not moving, so Aria slowly approaches the door and draws a bright gray circle on it with her finger and Astral Energy. She quickly finishes with some symbols, and the part of the door within the circle becomes transparent only to her, allowing her to see her son.

He keeps looking at the door for a full minute in silence, making Aria increasingly uneasy.

*Thumph* *Thumph* *Thumph* *Thumph*

She can hear her heartbeat getting louder as she looks at his face. 'Even covered in blood, he still looks so attractive...'

After a minute, Arthur closes his eyes, sighs, and then turns around, entering the men's restroom on the other side of the corridor.

"Phew!" Aria sighs as she turns around and rests her back against the door. 'What was he thinking??'

'No, no... that's impossible!' Aria doesn't want to believe that Arthur has immoral feelings towards her; her maternal instincts leave no room for such a thing.

But what about her? That's something she's no longer sure about.

Aria notices that and smiles, "Look at you..." She takes her hand to his face and cleans some blood drops with her fingers.

"Oh," Arthur feels waves of pleasure run through his body every time Aria touches his face. "Can you help me clean up this mess?"

"Sure, let Mommy help you~" She takes him to the sink and starts cleaning his face with a towel. He is still shirtless, and she has to struggle not to look at his tempting six packs.

Arthur stands still, just watching how beautiful Aria is. "So... are you having fun?"

"Fun?" Aria makes a thoughtful expression while continuing to clean his face. "I guess so. Well, not as much as you, I suppose."

"Yeah, I also didn't expect it to be so enjoyable..." He comments.

Aria smiles. "Mommy never liked such events, honestly. But it's not bad to see you beating those arrogant nobles..."

A glint appears in Arthur's eyes. "Aren't you curious to know why I enjoy beating them so much?"

"Oh? Is there a special reason?" Her voice sounds a bit unstable, and he notices it.

Arthur holds Aria's hand on his face while looking into her eyes. "You know there is... you know this is about you, about how those dirty dogs dared to cast disrespectful looks at my sacred mother..."

"Darling~" She looks away. "Your Mommy is an attractive woman, so other men will look... you better get used to it while we're in public."

"I disagree," Arthur continues holding Aria's hand on his face and rubs his nose on her fingers. "Everyone who stepped into the arena against me will no longer dare to look at you that way... they will think of me and the pain I caused them before."

"Heheh~" She smiles. "You are such a protective son..."

"Not exactly, but-" Arthur stops speaking when he notices a delicious smell on Aria's fingers, a perfume that rivals even Nyx's most intimate scent. 'This smells like the purest and sweetest white orchid...'

"Why does your hand smell so good, Mom?"

"Ah~!" Aria tries to pull her hand, but Arthur holds it firmly and breathes deeply, taking that smell to run through his body. "No, darling~!" She pleads but doesn't make any real effort to pull her hand.

"This smell..." Arthur feels many reactions in his body, especially a bestial desire that grows out of his control. "Got it... this smell..." He looks down and Aria does the same, seeing a large tent in his pants.

"There's only one kind of smell that could turn me on so fast..." He smiles teasingly while holding Aria's chin and making her look into his eyes. "What were you doing with these fingers, Mom?"

"It's not what you're thinking~!" Aria exclaims with a red face. "Also, you can't tease your Mommy like this~!!"

"It can't be helped when you're so adorable, Mom..."
