"Whhaaaatt! The boss also disappeared!?"

Resounded Lana's scream in the boss room amidst the silence that followed the explosion.

Apparently, the formidable enemy, <Giant Mash>, we were fighting until a while ago has self-destructed itself in the real sense.

Right now, all that is left is the two gold chests, the boss drop, and the spot it was before blowing itself up.

Well, the HP it had left was a mere 10% after all.

I think it's most likely because of the high recoil damage since the boss has exploded itself while in rage mode, which increases the original statue by 1.5 of its original.

I have chanced upon such occasions in my gaming time too.

As such, Lana has now fallen into confusion, raising her hand, not knowing what to do with the boss who abruptly disappeared together with the killer technique she fired. The ending may be quite anticlimactic for her.

However, there's a more important thing I want her to do.

"It doesn't matter, Lana, quickly heal me."

I only have 30% HP left.

"Uwaa, what happened to your HP, Zephyr! <Healing Prayer>!"

Lana quickly activated her mid-rank healing magic once I turned her attention to me.

What happened? Of course, it's the result of being caught up in an explosion.

Although I used <Sonic Sword> after entrusting Sierra to Ester right before the explosion, the distance I pulled wasn't enough, and thus, my current HP is the result of receiving that much damage. No doubt it would have left me unable to fight if this had happened near the boss. What a close call it was!

And thinking about how powerful the impact was despite the distance, I bet even if Sierra, who was unable to move and stuck due to the iron wall, had the effect of reducing the damage taken, she would surely have been left hanging on a thread.

"Thank you, Lana. So, are Ester and Sierra safe? "

"I wonder, look, here they come."

Ester had just arrived at the same time as I was confirming their situation with Lana when I turned to look in the direction Lana was looking at. Sierra was also riding it.

"That side looks all fine too."

"Yeah, It's mostly thanks to Zephyr's timely help. I slightly overestimated its power. "

"I'm glad as long as you're fine."

One couldn't move when they were stuck in between <Iron wall> in my game, but here, since there's a skill to move things or a slow category skill, I was glad I could achieve it by throwing the Sierra the same way as <Monster Throw>.

"Zephyr-dono too, I'm glad you're fine."

"Haha, we are so ragged."

"Uwaa Ester, look at your situation. <Healing Prayer>!"

"Thank you very much, Lana-sama."

It seems Ester couldn't get out of the explosion range completely either, even after using the super speed mode skill <Overdrive>, and now her HP has dropped to 25%, since the damage her carriage receives is all shouldered by the wearer.

"Buuut~ the ending was a complete let down."

"Well, it does happen occasionally. You did your best. "

Lana pouted since she couldn't get the feeling of defeating the boss by herself. She looks quite cute when pouting.

Though it's really a very rare phenomenon for the boss to actually disappear in its self-destruction. It was a rare boss, after all.

"Great work, Zephyr."

"Karua too, thank you for your hard work."

Karua is the fastest person in Eden. So it seems she somehow avoided taking damage from the explosion. We gave a high-five to each other and showed appreciation for each other's hard work.

"Everyone is here, so let's open the gold chest."

"I almost forgot! I will be opening it! "

The speed status value is an astounding 50.

A value of 50 in beginner grade equipment is absolutely crazy. The skill attached to them <Movement Speed Up>, although it is something that also comes with <Dash Boots> etc, is also a max Lv, which further enhances the speed.

Also, another active skill, <Extreme Speed>, is limited to straight lines, but the flaw is offset by the speed that's impossible to capture with bare eyes. It's like an instantaneous movement skill. By the way, maybe because a thruster like something pops up from the shoes, this skill can also be used in mid-air. Because of this, the <Extreme Speed> boots are extremely rare.

By the way, a part of the thruster also looks like a black cat, which is quite appealing to the eyes too. I don't know very well where the jet comes out since instead of a regular jet propulsion design, it's in cat shape, but either way, it's amazing. As expected of the game.

I bet whoever designed those shoes must be an eager lover of black cats.

Last but not least, <Trap Explosion> is just as its name suggests, a skill that can instantly build explosions when used in traps. It's a handy skill that even if you accidentally step on traps, it will automatically activate and blow them up. As a side note, it's also handy for the traps in the treasure chest. Hence, they are strong.

I have also used them plentifully in the game whenever I chanced upon them. However, the equipment requirement is a bit of a bottleneck. It's as high as <AGI 200> and above, after all.

There are just so many characters who can equip them. What's more, defence and magic defence values are very low, and as long as you make progress in the dungeon, there will be plenty of other equipment to choose from, so by the time you finally meet the requirement of <AGI 200>, you will not want to equip it.

In short, it is simply impossible for me to equip them. It's equipment which, in most cases, is left to eat dust.

The only one among all Eden members who can clear this condition currently is Karua, or you can even say it's a piece of equipment dropped precisely for Karua.

"I will lend this to Karua."

"Is it really okay?"

"There's no one beside you who can equip them. So use them as much as you like. "

"Hnn, thank you. It's really a luxury to use equipment from <Gold chest>. I'm happy. "

With a smile she rarely shows, Karua hugged the boots to her chest. It seems she has taken a fancy to them.

Well, it's hard to run into equipment that comes out of a gold chest, after all. Equipping them alone will raise your prestige. I decided in my mind to have Marie-senpai tinker with its design and paint to match Karua's equipment.

Next is Ester's treasure chest.

"This is a shield, right?"

"Ohh, the boss shield!"

What Ester pulled out was a big round shield of the same design as the one that <Giant Mash> was equipped with. The size is appropriately reduced in comparison to the one the boss was equipped with, which left is as large as 1 m, but it's quite flashy in appearance. This, too, is more or less a mega-jackpot. Though it does look like a mushroom head, part of the <MaMa>.

It's much easier for the boss equipment to drop from the rare boss <Gold chest> than from regular gold chests. Furthermore, rare boss equipment is absurdly strong.

This shield is naturally strong. Hmm, but I really want someone to equip it. This may be the first boss equipment that many can equip, since there is a plethora of boss equipment that unfortunately, members of Eden are unable to equip.

I quickly turned my gaze to Sierra.

"I don't need it."

But she rejected it....

It's a bit impossible for me too, since it will put my Firmament series skills in disarray... It eventually took its place in an item bag. (T/N : If you have read the Sky series etc., then it's the same except I am using firmament words. I prefer Firmament/Heaven to Sky World.

The situation was a bit strange in the end, but either way, we had safely cleared the quest, so it was time to leave. Classes are finally going to start tomorrow.

It has been one month since I came to the academy. It has been a long but fleeting period.

Recalling my memories, it started from the academy's entrance ceremony to the challenge tutorial dungeon, gradually stepping up the game to the beginner dungeon, and finally clearing away all the beginner level dungeons.

The development of real-life <Dungeon Activity> went actually more amazing than I expected.

The circumstances are going to take a different turn with the addition of classes. However, I'm now immensely curious since I usually skip the classes in games. I wonder what the classes in <Dungeon Activity> will teach.

Looking forward to what tomorrow beholds for me, I, along with others, stepped into the transfer circle.

『Sub Quest <Subjugate the Rare boss> completed.』

Arc 3 <New Members Training Arc>

一Over一

T/N : And this concludes the Arc 3. The next arc <Dungeon Activity, and the first look at real academy life> will begin from Monday. As the arc has come to conclusion, I also feel like maybe I should also start to change the names of things, which just sound a bit redundant unless I rename them, like how Parallel slash was originally translated as <Twin horizontal upward slash>. Given I sucks at cool name xD, so I will leave that part to readers to choose from suggestion.

E/N: The given names of the moves are very..... interesting :D
