"I'm Zephyr, a provisional lecturer starting from today. I'm going to teach you guys about the «Training Manual» in my elective class. I have set-up question time during the class so you can ask me any question you don't get. I hope we got along."
Whisper
I heard the whispering and slightly shrill voices from all over when I introduced myself and what I'm going to teach from the podium.
"Kyaa! It's the real one!"
"So the rumor about Brave-kun being provisional lecturer was true!"
"I'm glad I came!"
"Same here. Just a glance of Brave-kun is enough to make me work hard until the weekend."
"Look, even his assistant is so cool."
"I know, he should be that «Smiling Celestine»."
"It's really such a picturesque scene when both of them are together."
"These two are going to teach us in great detail from today onwards. I will work hard."
"I wonder if there will be a chance to be alone with him."
"I think it's more important to appeal yourself to get a chance to enter into ‹Eden› than anything else."
"I have to study hard and improve my mental image!"
I guess, this means they welcome me, right?
It was a room in the building of ‹Combat Department›. It was quite a big classroom which could hold around 50 people
It was the classroom in which I was going to take my elective class from this day onwards.
All three of them were from the same class, I had talked with them on many occasions so i remember them. It wasn't much but I did advertise in the class and the result was three of them attending. I'm glad they came to listen to my lecture.
I started my class not long after.
"First, I will start with a saying in this world. 「Acquiring a job isn't the end, but in fact, it's the true beginning of the journey of a job.」. Suppose there are two people with the same job and even if they have the same level, there can be worlds apart in their strength depending on how one raises it. There's a limit to level growth. There's no option to re-do it if you ever make a blunder in its growth. You will have to carry this blunder for your whole life. Even a mid-ranking job holder can defeat a high-ranking job holder depending on training, that's why I absolutely want everyone to learn about this way of training and the thought pattern behind the ‹Training Manual› through this class."
Everyone turned silent as I began my lecture.
The buzzing sound from earlier died down as everyone listened to my words with a serious expression.
They have the spirit. ‹Training Manual› was more about tackling the fundamental way of thinking than just one another compilation to advance through ‹Dungeon Activity›.
The way of training in this world was to chase after the footsteps of the successful person one admired and mimic their status, this isn't wrong but more, there exist a way of doing one step above this.
Anyone present should be able to have a great transformation in their strength when they reach the level limit if they seriously listened to this lecture and faithfully integrated in their training.
By all means, I want everyone who has come to listen to my lecture to follow it.
"The main point of this class ‹Training Manual› is to teach you about this way of thinking. There exists the path to train ability for each and every job, there also exists the path of training for each individual. This is the class to teach you that you guys can, absolutely, reach that unreachable height with a method completely on the opposite spectrum of something like following the footsteps of the person you admire or a successful person."
‹Dungeon Activity Style Training Manual› was a way of thought process, and not a set policy deciding how to proceed with training.
Deciding on the final form of what they want to be and then drawing a straight line for it was the essence.
In short, it was like ‘the stronger character imagined purely by oneself’. The true value of ‹Dungeon style Training Manual› was to induce this mode of thinking.
I explained it with a more realistic example.
"The goal of this ‹Training Manual› isn't teaching you to become like something, instead it's about how to defeat that something. Everyone, don't you have someone you want to win against?"
The idea of wanting to become like so-so, was too simple.
‹Dungeon Style Training Manual› was all about making them involuntarily think about what kind of status and what kind of style they would need to surpass that something.
