A wave of turmoil arose throughout the kingdom with Zephyr’s lecture over <Job Transfer>.
Labyrinth Academy - Main Campus, Special Inn.Visitt novelbin(.)co/m for the latest updates
Special inns are being used in abundance due to the explosive number of guests visiting the Labyrinth Academy. And yes, it’s another of the game's characteristics where inns are being used instead of a hotel.
However even among such special inn was another high class inn, the so-called luxurious inn, created to accommodate the VIP so that it doesn't interfere with the academy's image and in one such room once could hear the quavering voice of Gagief, the Chief of National Job Research Institute.
"He was even more spectacular than what I had heard, Miston-dono. It was really unthinkable that he not only had the distinguish information such as ‹Training Manual› but even the groundbreaking information about ‹Job Transfer›."
"It is just expected that you will fancy him."
Yet the another person, Chief of the Main Campus's Research, Miston, replied to Gagief with similar quivering voice as he sat on the chair facing him.
It was their attempt to hide the impact they had received after listening to the lecture of a first year student which has completely overturned their common sense.
"The thing he talked about was really an eye opener to us who never even bothered to include the 'J' of ‹Job Transfer› in our research. I don't know about others but it atleast was never a topic of research in our National Job Research Institute. What about your side, Miston-dono?"
"It's embarrassing however my hands were already filled with the other research until now..."
"Sure enough. However, Your achievement of unravelling about the manifestation condition for a low ranking job was really admirable. I must say your research institute is really miles ahead about research job's manifestation condition."
"Thank you very much."
It was the research of Chief Miston that had mostly contributed in unravelling the manifestation condition for the low ranking job in the Main Campus's research institute.
There are research institute all over the kingdom however while all were focusing only on searching the high ranking job's condition, it was just Chief Miston who has intentionally focused on researching on low ranking job on the basis that it might lead him to a new truth and there are hardly any place where his ingenuity hasn't been praised.
It was this ingenuity of him that he was still reigning on the position of Main Campus's research institute's head position.
"Just when I thought we finally have discovered the tip of the iceberg by unravelling the condition for a high-ranking job, we now have another ‹Job Transfer› topic that goes against all the norms. We really can't stay lagging behind in the new research huh."
Gagief was holding the note from today's class.
Gagief had written every single word of his as if his life depends on it. Even now, his eyes couldn't stop running over it however his hands were trembling so much so that he couldn't read it due to the shaking and placed it the table thinking to read it again later, but as if he couldn't given up no matter what, his hand found their way to take the note in grasp once again.
Not just no, Gagief had been repeating the same scene again and again with a restless appearance.
――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
"I approve of the system reformation, Vandam Fagner-dono. I will give my all to handle the situation."
"This has really become overblown. The first to be affected even speaking of nothing will be 3rd years, haste is necessary."
Changing the location once again, it was the room in Duke's Residence, also the dean's office that Zephyr had visited before.
A group of men were coming up with some documents with a bitter expression on their face.
One of them was the Dean of ‹National Dungeon Exploration Support Academy • No.4 Branch Campus›, Roroikroi. And one another person was the Duke Vandam Fagner, also the master and chief executive of Labyrinth Academy.
"We have to be quick and secure the ‹Basic Job Ascension Ticket›. Also, let's turn the a bill for the revision of law."
"A meeting is a must first of all. I would like to call all the Branch Dean first. We should also notify the Chief lecturers rank members too. I have sent a rough draft to the King, let's see if he will join too."
"What about the ‹Job Transfer› for 3rd years? They hardly have any time."
"Let's inform them that they may repeat the academic year. In rough words, the statement would be 'The system now allows them to restart from freshman year as soon as their level reset, effectively resetting their academic years in addition.'."
"That's some level of humour you have. Though I would suggest to re-think about the title."
The two continued their banter while their eyes darted over countless documents, writing up new ones and filling them in.
They're giving their all to revise the system for the time when the wave of ‹Job Transfer› will let loose.
Overturning of common sense. The one to bear the brunt head on was undoubtedly the academy.
The academy currently has 6000 third year students and barely 206 students that have high-ranking jobs. It goes without saying just how many must be harbouring the longing for ‹Job Transfer›.
However if there was anything blocking them, then it was the overwhelmingly lack of time they have. They barely have one academic year left.
They will begin to sway over the temptation of whether they should go through the reset, however there's the chance they might ruin their future by resetting their level without any proper plan and the lack of sufficient level would of course be the unscalable wall that they will face after they enter the society.
Summing up all the factors, the two reached the conclusion to submit a bill to implement the student's academic year extension after a discussion.
The only thing the two wished for was the further prosperity of the kingdom and a bright future for the students.
In this way, although slowly but surely, the thing called common sense had begun to let out its final cry as it advanced on the path of destruction.
