"Hey, Zephyr. I am a bit worried about Karua's equipment. Can you help out in choosing them?"
My sunday's morning began with Lana asking for a helping hand.
The following day after our guild battle with <Best of the Best, the Great Star>, I had just entered the guild room in the usual upbeat mood, and came face-to-face with Rika and Lana who were having a troubled expression. Karua was also there, though unlike the two, she was sporting her trademark sleepy expression.
But hold on your horses, Lana, shouldn't the day start with greetings first? And where did Ester and Shizu go? They are usually the one correcting Lana as her attendant.
"First, let me greet others. Good morning. And then, can you explain the matter first?"
"Good morning, Zephyr."
"GM."
"Good morning. But this isn't important, Karua's equipment needs serious attention."
Hey, don't dismiss it so casually, okay? You should properly greet!
Rika and Karua responded to my greeting, but Lana was a bit casual.
Had Shizu been here, she would have surely corrected her with her silent 'cough'.
But Karua's equipment huh?
I scrunticize Karua's equipment.
Her boots are superior <Extreme Speed Star Boots>. But all the other equipment is mostly Beginner-mid grade in performance. Furthermore even the superior <Extreme Speed Star Boots> doesn't provide good enough defence, since their worth lies in the speed it provides.
In short, her equipment was like paper armour compared to our current dungeon standard. In fact, I am surprised she has managed to get by with such equipment until now.
Well, her job's core part revolves around evasion, so as long as she doesn't get hit, it should be fine...... But challenging Int-mid will be tough with her current equipment. Even a single hit would deal a critical damage.
"Hmm. But I can manage fine by dodging them, you know?"
"More and more enemies start using AoE attacks from Int-mid just so you know."
Karua seems confident in avoiding all attacks, but there are always limits to everything.
Especially the bosses of Int-mid, almost every attack of theirs will either be long range attacks or AoE attacks, as if they are available wholesale for them, so even attackers found it hard to avoid them.
So a certain level of defence is necessary to avoid going out of commission from fighting. That's the reason why it's difficult to min-max in <Dungeon Activity>. And also the reason why a lot of seniors are struggling in Int-mind dungeons. It's tough handling the attacks that bypass the tank.
More and more members of <Eden> are clearing the Int-low, and soon, they should be able to advance to Int-mid as well.
"Don't be sad, Karua. It's just getting you better equipment! I am sure Zephyr will do something about it."
"Hnn. You;re right. Zephyr, please."
"Hey, so you are going to leave it to me? Haa, whatever."
Karua requested me with sparkly eyes. Will you help?
The answer was...... yes.
"What are you going to do?"
Sierra asks after confirming the situation.
What should be done, huh.
Let's first see our current situation. Today's June 9th (Sunday).
Another dungeon week will start next week. It has just been two weeks since the last dungeon week, but last month, it started a week late and the fourth week of this month starts on 16th, hence why it is going to start so early.
Also, considering our current pace, I am sure we will be able to make enough progress to challenge Int-mid dungeons during dungeon week. So there is just one more week until the deadline, and the Mir has to be earned in that duration to prepare the equipment.
It's a bit of a challenging task.
Well, not that It is impossible, but considering the process of selling the material, getting them appraised, and the time until equipment can be completed, we would have to push ourselves a bit more to make it happen.
Not just Karua, other members like Pamela, Shizu, and Misato would want to upgrade their equipment. It would be best to focus on improving our equipment during the next Dungeon Week for efficient progress.
But this is reality, which means there are some factors not present in the game.
In the game, we would have to start by getting a large amount of materials to make the equipment, but in reality, <Eden> has an asset I could never have enough in enough. That too in large quantities.
Its name is <Quest Point>, or in short QP.
I took a quick look to check and Eden currently has 1.29 million QP. If it were to be converted into Mir, it's almost 1.3 billion.
Insane.
Anyway, since we have the shortcut, let's ride on it to arrange the equipment.
"Today's Sunday and we have an abundance of QP. How about we participate in <Single Auction>?"
I proposed that.Diiscover new stories at novelhall.com
