Vol. 9 - Chapter 464 - Let's welcome the swimsuit appreciation---when did we have such thing?!--- event!

"Oh, is this the beach? Heh, it's indeed quite a sight to behold."

"I know right? It definitely is."

A sandy beach, and ocean, spread before us as we left the cave, surrounded by steep cliffs.

There was an underground grotto in one part of the cliff which gave seawater a way to seep out to here. So even while surrounded, this blocked place had the sea,

Aside from that, that underwater grotto was actually quite dangerous so I had nailed it in everyone's head beforehand to not enter in it. It's really dangerous.

Anyway, with the terrain like this, the inlet had turned into a private beach-cum-unexplored region.

Sparkling sea, no crowd and an uncharted land like atmosphere. What else could have hype you more than this! I was really jumping in excitement when I first arrived here---oh, I am just as excited still, alright!

"Umu, I feel content just by looking at this scenery. Though I guess even if I want to stay like this, it's not going to be possible huh..."

Nico said while glancing at her sideways. I followed her gaze to see Harmonic Trio blitzing here.

"Ah, so you're here, Nico-chan!"

"Geez, you know how much we had been looking for you. Heh, so you were with Zephyr-kun huh, alone. Fufu, great going."

"Everyone is changing at the girl's tent. Come with us, Nico-chan."

They excitedly prattled off. They're truly a bomb of liveliness as ever, huh? Just like actual highschool---oh wait, they're indeed the highschool girls. Still, I feel like requiring sunglasses just to look at their dazzling aura of youth.

"Wah, wait. I can walk on by myself."

Sachi and Emi grabbed Nico's hand from each side and took her along with them.

I saw her off with a wave of hand and joined Mert and Celestine who were setting up parasols and tents.

"Seesh, you're too slow, Zephyr."

"Aha, my bad. I will help out right away."

The three of us started to set up necessary items for the beach.

And there goes another beach chair......just how many chair this marks? Come to think, there were just many parasols too. To be honest, it would have been better to go with a big one...though I guess elegance matters more to the girls huh. I mean, parasol gives off quite a sea-esque vibe, no?

We managed to set up everything before the girls could return, though how should I say, it had taken quite a huge area. Well, we couldn't have left girls under this blazing sun as well, so there's that.

The shadow of the steep cliff was currently forming a shade but the scorching sunshine would come to bit back around lunch time, when Mr. Sun was hovering right above our head. Carelessness is often the biggest party killer after all.

After the preparation, we also swiftly changed into our swimsuits but girls had yet to appear. They sure are taking their sweet time huh. On the side note, we three were wearing trunks type swimsuits.

"Hmm, they aren't done yet?"

"It takes time for girls to change after all, so look forward to until then."

We have left no stone upturned to prepare for today's event. From forming a plan to selecting the place to gathering swimsuit materials and all sorts of items and equipment. All of our sweat and hard work was precisely for this moment after all!

With the bubbles of excitement gushing inside me, the three of us gazed at the sea while waiting for girls to come out.

And soon, the long wait was finally over.

"Sorry for taking time."

This voice...it's Sierra!

I pushed down any expression of franticness and with a calm look, turned around.

"Woaaaah---"

Albeit, it turned out my calmness was too fleeting in front of the marvellous spectacle.

"Hey, hey. Is that weird noise all you have to say about us!?"

"Err, please don't stare at me too much."

Lana and Sierra were there as I turned toward the source of voice.

Ester, Shizu, Pamela and Misato were behind them, and the rest of the girls were coming in one after another as well.

I felt a bit dizzy seeing Lulu and Celia and the line of girls waiting.

"Zephyr onii-sama?"

"Ah, nothing. You look adorable, Lulu. Did you choose that swimsuit by yourself?"

"Yes! Celia onee-chan also praises Lulu!"

Lulu was wearing a school swimsuit. It was the so-called white school swimsuit with 'Lulu' written on the chest, adding to its cuteness.

Apparently, the name was suggested by Marie-senpai. 'Good Job,' Marie-senpai. I muttered in my mind, not that she's here to listen.

Celia was wearing a swimming race swimsuit for some reason. Was it to match Lulu? Her swimsuit was green, saving the armpit side which had white accent. It suits the slender Celia.

"You also look good, Celia."

"Thank you very much.---I see, it certainly feels nice to be praised."

Celia nodded as if reaching some sort of conclusion, took Lulu's hand and moved under one of the parasols. Once those two had left the space, Karua and Rika stepped forward to take their place.

Why in the world are you guys lining up as well? Is this going to happen with everyone?

Rika was wearing a red and white tone bikini which was closer to a plain design. Well, even that simple design was appearing overwhelming...you could certainly tell she and Phyllis-sensei share the same genes.

Karua was wearing a navy-blue boy leg type swimsuit. On top, she had something like a rash guard. A hole had been opened in one part of her shorts that allowed her tail to appear out.

Frankly, I had been quite vary when she said her swimsuit is of my liking but......it didn't have even a shred of sexiness at all. No wait, what was my preference to begin with.

But I should say, it gave her quite a cool appearance. She also looked content with praise. I really do want to know what she means...............Whatever, I should focus ahead for now.

Moving forward, succeeding was Noel and Lacritta duo.

Lacritta was wearing a grey flare bikini. It had flares both on the top and bottom, with the bottom resembling a skirt. It certainly felt like a fitting design for bashful and introverted type Lacritta.

Noel was wearing a red bikini which boldly emphasised her chest, along with a transparent pareo tied to her waist. Hmm, that definitely scores a lotta points in the idol-ish outfit category.

She already had a good figure and the hair tied up just further added more charm to her.

Following them, Rina and Aegis-senpai showed themselves.

Ever since the raid on Goblin Fortress, they had become quite good friends. I guess their personality as one that gives commands and other that act as knight must have hit off.

They looked awfully nervous for some reason.

"H-How does it look?"

"Err...what do you think?"

"Come now, there is only indisputable truth and it's you both rocking on your swimsuits!"

Rina was wearing a red bikini with red laces. There were small frills on the strings, and those strings extending from her below her chest to her back just help to emphasise her already big chest. Truly, there was no dispute about the rocking part.

Aegis-senpai was wearing a pink-themed bikini, with an elegant and mature pareo. She wore a large straw hat with a sunflower ribbon on her head that just helped to show off her mature appeal.

Umu, and they looked really fired up.

"You both look absolutely charming in your outfit. You have nailed it!"

"T-Thank you very much. It makes me happier." (Rina)

"C-Charming. I guess that counts as a small win."

Both of them had a look of delight.

With a hint of reluctance, the two of them shifted aside, giving way to Kairi, Alulu and Nico.

Kairi, true to her tomboyish nature, was wearing a navy blue racing swimsuit. She twirls around as if taking her entry and takes her signature pose. Behind it was a free back design. What was she, a member of the swimming club?

Alulu, perhaps because of her loli style, was wearing a kid's specific swimsuit. It had lots of frills which made her look adorable in it.

Marie-senpai was slightly worried about her height, but Alulu didn't seem to put her mind over that as she grandly showcased herself.

Next was Nico, who... was wearing a cute swimsuit unexpectedly. It was a light blue theme swimsuit with an off-shoulder top. Hmm, it struck with the taciturn Nico's image quite well.

Nevertheless, just many people there were left I wonder?
