"Hello, our apt junior. You're also here to challenge ‹Battle Wolf›? Are you going to fight with just you two?""Greetings. But I'm afraid I don't recognise you."
"Ahahaha! Right, it's our fault to not introduce ourselves. We're from ‹Rescue Committee›. Here, this is our emblem."
Surprise, the party that huddled in distance was in fact the ‹Rescue Committee› members who aids in sending the wiped out party to the surface. Upon further investigation, they are wearing the armband with the emblem of ‹Rescue Committee›.
I can't tell just how many times I have been under their care in the game.
‹Rescue Committee› consists of cream of the corps talents. They're the official guild of the academy which have been formed by gathering not just students, but also capable individuals from other places that hold remarkable talent. Oh, and ‹Rescue Committee› also has the special position that is outside of the typical guild ranks.
They're the specialist in charge of sending students that have their HP blown to 0 or are in extremely dangerous situations to outside the dungeon all safe and sound.
But the question is what are they doing here?
"You are wondering what we are doing in place, eh."
Oops, it seemed like my expression made it obvious.
"And the answer to your question is... that."
Woman, who seemed to be their leader, didn't seem to mind it and pointed at the door of the boss room. Just at the the timing, the door opened and the challengers, apparently a party of freshmen, ejected out of the room as if someone spitted out them.
The members of ‹Rescue Committee› stood up within a beat, raising a war cry.
"Let's go, the wiped out party has come out!"
"Take them back safely! Ensures that they don't get even the slightest scratch!" Sᴇaʀch* Thᴇ n0vᴇl(ꜰ)ire.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of nøvels early and in the highest quality.
"Good grief, they're so pathetic to get completely wiped out. But fret not, you will be taken to the surface in one piece safely."
"Muscle rescue! Muscle rescue! Muscles are roaring yo. Raise the roar!"
"You guys be more quiet in your work for god's sake!"
The four members minus leader immediately rushed towards the freshmen party and began treating them using several items with quick hands.
It was a stunning sight and their skills were top tiers. If anything though, they seem to be overflowing with a bit more vigour than necessary.
They were done in mere 10 seconds, then a macho-man with beefy muscles swiftly took them in his arms and dashed for the surface. That macho-man looked quite strong.
I guess he must have an advanced job of ‹Brawny Knight›, ‹Steelo Macho›. He easily swoops all of them in his arms without even using any skill as if they're just luggages.
"And they're off......"
Rina, too, was baffled by the spectacle that transpired just now.
I felt the same kind of intensity from that macho-man as our ‹Thunder Javelin›. I can bet any monster that would be unfortunate to come in way of his dash would be shattered into mere particles of effect.
"A ruckus they made aye. Well there you have your answer, we're in charge of this place to send the wiped out students back to the surface. Oh dear, I haven't introduced myself yet right. I'm Rinneshia, leader of the 39th rescue squad. It's the beginning of dungeon week for the first years so we have been stationed here to promptly aid in situations like these."
That explains why they're here.
It was a useless setting in the game. It was the group that would appear out of nowhere and carry the party back to outside the dungeon as soon as one sent a ‹Rescue Request› to take everyone back to the surface.
But let alone encountering them here, it was also my first instance I had witnessed them waiting in stand-by here within the safety area.
Well, I guess this is the natural course of action in reality huh. Furthermore, it seemed like they'd stand-by here in the safety area only during the first term dungeon week from May to July. Plus, this set-up seemed to be only upto Beg-Mid dungeon.
"Well, you know Beg-low dungeons can be overcome through brute force even solo. So the never-ending stream of freshmen who get wiped out like this after overestimating their abilities are like the seasonal speciality of this academic term."
"It must be tough."
"Thank you for your hard work."
"Thanks ya lot. Anyway, my apt junior, so you're going to challenge the boss with just you two? You may not feel it but the ‹Battle Wolf› here is quite strong. I would recommend fighting in a group of five."
She must be a nice person. I guess she should be talking with us for so long to give that advice.
Though fighting ‹Battle Wolf› is a child play to me. So her worry is unfounded.
"Thank you for your advice. But please be at ease. Because you see..."
I showed her the mark of conquest on my chest, and seeing that, Rinneshia-san's eyes widened in surprise.
"‹Jurrapa› and ‹Rokumori› clearation mark? Whoa, really?"
"Mark doesn't lie. Besides, they disappear if you try to transfer them."
"Sigh, I did hear the freshmen are on another level but this is just... It's already an impressive pace for you to reach at this point in this term, but even clearing out two intermediate dungeons is just hard to believe."
"Fufu, that's Zephyr-san for you."
"Haha, you sure are being trusted aye, you lady-killer. But yeah, It was unnecessary of me to call out to you. Good luck in your endeavour too."
"I think we may require your care in the future so please take good care of us when that time comes."
"Sure so. And good luck on your endeavour too, Miss. For everything."
With those words, Rinneshia-san turned on her heel and made her way back to her spot, waving her hand in goodbye.
Rina, on the other hand, had her hands on her cheeks, sporting an awkward yet delightful expression which was a striking sight to behold.
Then we charged in the boss room as our turn had come up while we're talking with Rinneshia-san and after going through a quick recap about today's lesson, we swiftly defeated the ‹Battle Wolf› and returned back.
Incidentally, those girls from my lecture also made it through the boss battle without any mishap. Although I didn't teach them yet about the exploration.
One thing was sure however, they're undeniably talented!
