‹Fairy Mercenary Armour Set› is a 5 piece equipment set made from the fairy type monster's materials that appeared in ‹Fairies of the Four Season Dungeon›, one of the Int-high grade dungeons. It is not a particularly hard to make armor set since only few monsters materials are needed in making it, but on the down side, it's performance is quite subpar in the advanced dungeons. So they can only be used till Intermediate dungeons.
Though, this is exactly the thing that perfectly meets our requirements.
It is neither too fancy nor too excellent and has defensive ability just in the range to loan to others.
I assume ‹Emblem Seal Sticker› must have taken all these things into account as well, as it is just the right set catering to a subordinate guild, taking the customers into consideration.
It's not too pricey either since it is made from ordinary monster's materials, further emphasizing its usefulness.
And here they bring the main thing.
It's a fairy equipment so the fabric area is relatively small. But as its name implies, 'fairy mercenary’, ease of movement is given the main priority and appearance wise, it has a slightly wild appearance.
The set consists of short-pants, a short fantasy clothing similar to hotpants, a coat resembling a leather jacket, shoes, goggles and sleeves. Along with the muffler as an additional accessory, this makes it a total of 6 pieces.
It's quite a cool outfit, and even though it's designed for women, I think it would suit Karua perfectly.
Appearance-wise, it's quite a light outfit, and might expose the belly and thighs, making these areas appear defenseless, but HP is there to tank everything, so there wouldn't be any injury on the skins no matter how much skin is exposed. It's quite a mystery, no?
"My, this seems to be a perfect fit for Karua."
"I know right, and it provides improved movability as well. What do you think, Karua?"
"Hnn. I think it's fine?"
Lana and Rika also gave an okay, and Karua herself found it to her liking from her tone when she answered.
The auctioneer explained about the performance, and the performance was just what I had expected in my mind, after all it's coming from ‹Emblem Seal Sticker›. It might not be the best at advanced levels, but it should work fine for intermediate levels.
"Then I am going to bid for it. Alright?"
"Hn, please, Zephyr."
"Hmm, just leave it to me. I have the budget of 30 million in mind, there shouldn't be any problem right, Celestine?"
"It's perfectly alright, but the bid is most likely not going to be that high. From my knowledge, it would only be slightly over 20 million."
"So you have figured out even that as well huh. AH well, if we are going to get it for a lower price, that's even better."
After receiving the confirmation from Celestine, we decided to proceed with the bid as planned.
Nevertheless, Celestine has the eye for price assessment as well huh. In the game, this equipment set's price indeed hovered around 20 million Mir.
But considering it is reality, I had set the limit of our budget to a bit higher, in case the price is higher, but the price of it is still the same as the game huh?
Or this just simply applies to ‹Fairy Mercenary Armour Set›.
"The bid for ‹Fairy Mercenary Armour Set› is secured by the No.2 for a price of 21 million Mir!"
"Hmm, it really hit the mark huh."
We managed to win the bid.
The price was slightly higher, maybe because it is reality? Though it was within margin of error.
However, it was still slightly higher than expected, so I guess we will have to keep a larger budget for the future.
"It was quite cheaper than expected. The reason sho0uld be because it is an item catering to D-rank or below guilds, and usually it is only high-ranking guilds that participate in the single auctions. So there weren't that many competitors."
I see, I nodded at Celestine's explanation.
My earlier estimation was indeed correct, the price tends to be slightly higher in reality. It was just there weren't many people interested in it that we got it relatively cheap.
Then, as Celetine said, there is just ‹Eden› as the E-rank guild who can participate in the single auction. A normal E-rank guild would have gone bankrupt after participating in one! Most likely.
Considering all this, ‹Emblem Seal Sticker› hasn't put this armor for bid prioritizing profit first. Whatever the case is, I am really grateful for them.
Auction continued after that, and in that, we managed to bid for two more armor sets. They weren't from ‹Emblem Seal Sticker› but their performances weren't any less either.
With three armor sets, this should be enough I guess. We can also always put a request to ‹Emblem Seat Sticker› if there isn't.
There is also a facility called ‹Exchange House› where the academy puts rare equipment, items and other materials to exchange with QP. This is another must visit place I am planning to check on another day.
"I guess this wraps our mission."
"Yeah, so shall we head back?"
"I think so."
We have already gotten what we have come here for, there is no need to stay here for any longer.
Lana also shares the same idea. That concluded our today vent—... ah, the next time is supposed to be a surprise one, isn't it?
We have enough time so, let's check it out as well.
"Let's check out on the next item as well and then we will go."
"Alright! Next item is a surprise item! I wonder what it will be!"
Lana had managed to score her favorite ‹100% Superior Apple Juice› in the earlier surprise item, so she seems quite excited about them.
On the other hand, Celestine and Sierra shook their shoulders helplessly. How should I say, sorry guys.
I shifted my gaze back to the stage, and the auctioneer was about to make another announcement.
"Here it comes, the moment everyone has been waiting for! Our second surprise item!! Behold, it's a weapon from ‹Gold Chest›! Its offensive ability is so strong it can be even used in advanced dungeons! And it's name is— ‹Furious Bamboo Splitting Battle Axe›!!" sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ NøvᴇlFirᴇ(.)nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of nøvels early and in the highest quality.
"Ah. This is the item ‹Eden› had put on display."
I had almost slipped from my seat at Celestine's remark.
It was the weapon from the gold chest that dropped after we defeated the regular boss of ‹Tsugumo Bamboo Forest Dungeon›, ‹Bamboo Puppet›.
Well, it does boast the highest offensive power among the drops from a beginner dungeon, but it would be too far-fetched to use it in an advanced dungeon without using reinforcement jewels on it. Not that I am going to use it either way.
Ah, that's also not it, I mean, there wasn't any surprise at all! It's just one of ‹Eden› items!
Come to think of it, Celestin often puts up ‹Gold Chest› or ‹Silver Chest› equipment that we don't need in the auction every week. And this time, it's the ‹Furious Bamboo Splitting Battle Axe›.
Now that I recall, Sierra and the others mentioned that they got a double drop of this during one of their quests. I did ask him to put one of them up for auction. But it ended up at this time. What a letdown.
I mean, look at Lana, even she is...... looking excited eh.
"Say Zephyr! What do you think it will go for!? I am quite curious about it!"
Her excitement was drawn towards the price. Seeing the bidding price go up for something you have put up in an auction can indeed be intriguing to see I guess.
"Indeed, I am also quite curious. It's something we got."
That was a surprise, even Sierra looked excited.
Oh, right. This one was obtained by them, isn’t it?
I am also looking forward to it.
"Well then, let's start! The starting price is 1 million Mir! Woah there, No.15 bids 1.5 million Mir! No.87 bids 2 million! No.22 has bid 2.5 million!!"
Ohh, that's quite unexpectedly making my heart race! It used to be just a dull scene in the game!
"No.55 bid 16 million Mir! No.15 bids 16.5 million Mir! Oh-ho, the bidding is still strong! And there, No.87 bids 17 million Mir!"
The market price for the ‹Furious Bamboo Splitting Battle Axe› was around 10 million in the game. Still the price increment is going up by 500,000 Mir with every bid. I didn't expect it!
It seems like the value of weapons is quite high in reality huh.
"No.55 bid 21.1 million Mir! Have we hit the ceiling, eh!? No.15 bids 21.3 million Mir! No.87 bids 21.8 million Mir! That's quite the fervor! Ohh there, it seems like No.55 has thrown the white flag!? And No.15? Another white flag we have! Then No.87 has successfully bid 21.8 million Mir for the surprise item, ‹Furious Bamboo Splitting Battle Axe›!!"
Damn, it went for whooping double the market price in game. I can't believe it!
"Amazing! Just a weapon goes for 21.8 million Mir! That's really incredible!"
"I know right! Should we put up another one for auction, Celestin!?"
"Please hold on, Zephyr-sama! We can only put up one item for a single auction per week."
Ah, I almost forgot that rule exists.
We are an E-rank guild, so we can only put up 1 item per week for auction. Oh, and the net auction limit is 2 items per week.
Grrr, this makes me want to raise our guild rank quickly!
Anyway, after that, we left the auction venue and headed to receive the items we won bid for.
