711. Nameless 2nd year SwordsmanI-It has begun!
What about you all? Have you found your place!?
712. Nameless 2nd year Magician
You bet.
Still, I am surprised to see you in the front-row, swordsman.
713. Nameless 3rd year Supporter
A lot of eyes are on this guild battle after all.
Have a look at the audience stand, so many of the 2nd year students are staring at field with apparent restlessness.
714. Nameless 2nd year Adventurer
Nervous. ThumpThumpThumpThumpThumpThumpThumpThumpThumpThumpThumpThumpThumpThumpThump
715. Nameless 2nd year Priest
Hey, hey. Aren't your heartbeat going off the charts!?
I mean, I know this D-rank promotion exam also matters to us given their record-breaking challenge speed, but anyway, just stop.
716. ax2
It's not his fault when we all know the probable outcome.
Wonder what kind of reaction will these restless bunch show when the outcome is decided.
717. Nameless 3rd year Investigator
It's not even a matter up to debate.
But since it's such a rare opportunity, make sure you enjoy it till the end,
718. Nameless 2nd year Priest
What are you, Investigator-senpai, Satan!?
719. Nameless 2nd year Swordsman
By the heaven, no one asked you to research that deep, Senpai!
720. Nameless 3rd year Supporter
Alright, that's enough.
The guild battle will be held in standard <Square Field>. Bring back memories...
A field that purely tests firepower and coordination, with no one sure-off strategy.
721. Nameless 2nd year Priest
Right, It's not exactly a place where you would want to show-off your strategic skill. More than a plan, you need an ability to immediate alertness to the situation.
722. Nameless 3rd year Investigator
Well, this is why it's a field for the D-rank exam.
Oh, the players has taken their entry.
723. Nameless 2nd year Swordsman
Ahh, <Eden> and <Flash of Flower> have appeared!
......Hey, guys. Is it just me or are you also seeing Brave-san as the only young man out there??
724. Nameless 2nd year Adventurer
Guh, I also want to slip in that group of flowers!
I don't mind done for, but let me in!
725. Nameless 2nd year Alchemist
Rejoice, I have decided to grant you your wish.....only the second part however.
726. Nameless 2nd year Priest
Ah, someone has crashed into the audience stand......
You know what, never mind that.
Just focus on the game, everyone.
727. Nameless 2nd year Swordsman
Y-Yes sir.
S-So, is there any all-knowing senpai who knows about the participants? <Flash of Flower> especially.
728. Nameless 3rd year Investigator
Your prayer has been heard then.
<Flash of Flower> has selected three 3rd year students and seven 2nd year students since it's just an exam.
I believe many already know who the guildmaster and sub-guildmaster are, however those 2nd years are usually under the radar, and not that famous. Additionally, it appears that this constitutes their entire second-year student cohort.
729. Nameless 2nd year Swordsman
Whole cohort?
I really don't know what to say considering the opponent is <Eden>. If you ask me, I feel like <Eden> can easily tackle the 3rd year students as well.
730. Nameless 3rd year Investigator
<Flash of Flower> has been frequently in charge of the D-rank promotion exam as examiner, so they've more experience than many others at their disposal.
Their 3rd year members can easily pull the rug from under their feet, you know?
731. Nameless 2nd year Priest
A guild with wealth of experience in versus battle huh.
Let's see what kind of show they're going to put up.
.
.
.
746. Nameless 2nd year Magician
The game is on.
747. Nameless 3rd year Supporter
Godspeed Brave!
748. Nameless 2nd year Swordsman
No, <Eden> as the whole has got that speed.
It's probably the work of equipment. And similar ones too.
749. Nameless 3rd year Investigator
Everyone except Brave-kun and the cat girl along with him have the same boots.
I am guessing their boots come with <Movement Speed UP> skill.
750. Nameless 3rd year Supporter
Sure enough! Sᴇaʀᴄh the N0ᴠᴇFɪre.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of nøvels early and in the highest quality.
This explains the reason behind their quick speed.
And their strategy is just as I expected. Using their fastest member to clear the path. A strategy relying on speed.
On the other hand, <Flash of Flower> is going with the popular slow-but-together strategy.
751. Nameless 2nd year Swordsman
Breakdown please!
Which one of these strategies is more effective!?
<Eden> in the west has crushed the route of their opponent completely!
Is it really <Eden> plan that's best then?
752. Nameless 3rd year Supporter
Hard to say......
It's a mainstream strategy, and definitely not something half-baked. There's a reason why many use it.
Plus point is this side will have more members to handle opponents in case they opt for PvP battle right off the bat. Besides, reaching a Big Castle doesn't matter if they can't take it down quickly.
Considering that, advancing at the same pace shouldn't be the main problem, and they will have more firepower.
Though the risk of matching pace with slower members is to have their path obstructed, just like <Eden>, who is prioritizing the speed, has done.
753. Nameless 2nd year Priest
However then there's the risk of confronting opponents by progressing with agile members.
There's no bigger regret than being shown the way out just in the beginning.
It's either rock or the hard place.
754. Nameless 3rd year Supporter
That makes sense......
Thank you for the explanation!
755. Nameless 2nd year Magician
Hey, while you're busy talking here, the situation has changed in the field.
<Eden> has secured the west side's Big Castle.
756. Nameless 1st year Female Soldier
Kyaa, that's our one and only Brave-san!
What a way to completely seal the path for the opponent!
Ah, he looks so cool!
757. Nameless 1st year Shielder
This seems to have sealed the deal.
758. Nameless 1st year Female Soldier
Impressive Acumen!
From the look of it, they had impromptu revised their plan after taking note of their slow opponent.
759.Nameless 2nd year Priest
What frightening ability to react right off the bat.
Now I am wondering what their actual plan was.
760. Nameless 3rd year Investigator
<Eden> seems to have taken the lead in the east as well.
I wasn't sure who would win in this struggle for Big Castle but it sounds like we have a clear victor.
<Eden> won by their impeccable firepower and maneuverability.
761. Nameless 3rd year Supporter
It seems like they didn't use their coordinated attack with others that they had used in the last guild battle.
Did they not feel the necessity... or couldn't use......
762. Nameless 2nd year Swordsman
Ah, <Eden> and <Flash of Flower> have parted to north and east respectively.
763. Nameless 2nd year Priest
Initial phase of the game is now over.
As expected of <Eden>, I guess? Truly exemplary performance.
.
.
.
790. Nameless 2nd year Priest
<Flash of Flower> is on the move!
791. Nameless 2nd year Magician
They merged with other members while on their way to the east, and it sounds like they are planning to attack in a group.
A group this large, this isn't going to be easy for <Eden>......
792. Nameless 3rd year Investigator
Throwing away the chance to rack in a small castle? Bold they're.
But they should have just opted for speed by ignoring the squares instead of securing them while joining other members in that case.
Look, Brave-kun has already reacted.
793. Nameless 2nd year Priest
Wait, what!?
Why are you so quick, Brave-kun!?
And what's with that movement!?
794. Nameless 3rd year Supporter
It's the effect of those speed boots and that they're completely ignoring all the squares.
However it's their decisiveness and judgment that triumph.
Their actions are all so streamlined in response to the incoming raid just as the mid-phase of the game kicks off.
<Flash of Flower> guildmaster should have planned to avoid Brave and target the base, but that has been rendered obsolete by <Eden> swift action.
795. Nameless 2nd year Priest
Huuuhh......?
I never knew it's possible to still make a counterattack when opponents are already in motion.
That's a tall task, especially their speed......
796. Nameless 3rd year Supporter
I guess this is why they have special boots prepared, to keep an eye on the opponent and take measures immediately.
Oh well, it's not possible to pull that though without a meticulate reaction to respond to uncertainty.
797. Nameless 2nd year Priest
Holy goodness, it's really hard to believe they're 1st year students.
H-Hey, they're about to clash,
798.Nameless 2nd year Swordsman
Oh, they're hiding behind the obstacle!
799. Nameless 2nd year Magician
<Flash of Flower> haven't even noticed they are already exposed!
800. ax2
Oh, there began their clash!
801. Nameless 2nd year Priest
<Eden> has gone all-out right in their first move!
802. Nameless 2nd year Swordsman
<Flash of Flower> is getting one-sidedly trashed!
803. Nameless 2nd year Priest
Holy shit! <Eden> managed to overcome the number difference with their finishing onslaught!
804. Nameless 2nd year Swordsman
Ah!? Guildmaster has kicked the bucket---!?
805. Nameless 2nd year Priest
All hail headbutt!!
806. Nameless 1st year Shielder
Brave-kun won!!
Kyaaa!
807. Nameless 1st year Female Soldier
Magnificient!
What a feast to the eyes, Epic moment!
808. Nameless 2nd year Priest
Absolutely so!
There's nothing normal about catching up in such a situation, mounting a surprise attack, turning the number advantage and forcing them to retreat!
Who the heck can pull out that divine act!?
809. Nameless 3rd year Supporter
I know right, I never saw something pulling that.
The best bet in this situation is to pull the adjacent square into a protection period to earn the time while gathering comrades. You can never know what surprise the world has in its bag for you......
810. Nameless 2nd year Magician
Look around, the 2nd year students all seemed to have lost their soul seeing that.
811. Nameless 3rd year Investigator
The same venue which should have been filled with cheers has completely fallen into silence for a moment.
The gameplay has astounded everyone.
812. Nameless 2nd year Priest
You can't even blame their inexperience for this,
Everything has been settled in that instant.
Man, now I want to try it as well!
813. Nameless 3rd year Supporter
This has confirmed their promotion for sure.
814. Nameless 2nd year Magician
Ah, they are playing so meticulously I almost forgot it was an exam.
815. ax2
I know really, it was just that shocking.
816. Nameless 2nd year Priest
It has just been 10 minutes since the game began.
I can't imagine they're going to play out from here at all......
817. Nameless 2nd year Swordsman
Their guildmaster must have been depressed, for being the sole person to show way out.
818. Nameless 3rd year Investigator
......Spoke of the bad luck.
