The god was wrong, it didn't stop there.
Every time this particular soul was reincarnated to carry out one singular purpose, he would enter the wrong world, and on top of that, as though it wasn't enough, he would reincarnate without any of his previous memories, forgetting everything that had happened in his past lives and in the void with the god.
As for why the god couldn't just choose another soul, that was left to be known, for now, it just seemed like the god was extremely adamant about this particular soul.
