Chapter 199: Go to Hell!

Chapter 199: Go to Hell!

Demon King General Valeria was near the outskirts of the Dwarven Kingdom. The bitter memories from the recent battle flashed before her eyes-humans pushing her forces back, forcing her into a humiliating retreat. Her pride, shattered by their growing strength, was unbearable. As she stood in the dense forest, the bark of the tree she gripped began to crack under the force of her anger.

"Those miserable insects..." she hissed, her red eyes glowing with fury. The veins in her hands bulged, and the tree bark splintered further, shards falling to the ground. Her grip tightened until the tree gave way completely, snapping with a loud crack, and crashing to the forest

floor.

Valeria clenched her teeth, remembering the human weapons that had torn through her. This time, she had to change her strategy if she wanted to win the next fight against the humans, starting by attacking their ally, the dwarves.

There must be a reason as to why the humans are in the Dwarven Kingdom. Possibly to obtain raw materials from them to enhance their conventional weapons. Their conventional weapons are proven too powerful enough to kill a Demon King General, if it was enhanced even further, it could spell disaster.

As she stood on the outskirts of the kingdom, her sharp eyes scanned the landscape. Dwarves, though cautious, often left the safety of their mountain strongholds to gather resources from nearby forests and mines. She would capture one, extract the information she needed, and use it to weaken their alliance with the humans.

Just as she had hoped, a lone dwarf appeared in the distance, moving away from the kingdom's protective walls, burdened with a pack full of supplies. He was well-armed, with a sturdy axe slung across his back, but no match for her abilities. Valeria watched silently from the shadows, her demonic presence hidden by the thick forest.

As the dwarf trudged forward, unaware of the danger lurking nearby, Valeria made her move. In a blur of movement, she shot out of the forest and intercepted him. Before the dwarf could react, her hand clamped around his throat with an iron grip. His eyes widened in shock, but the cry for help never came.

Valeria sneered at the terrified dwarf. "You're coming with me."

The dwarf struggled, trying to free himself from her grasp, but Valeria's strength was overwhelming. His attempts were futile, and within moments, the dwarf was rendered unconscious by a sharp blow to the back of his head.

Valeria teleported back to her secret hideout near the Dwarven Kingdom where he had the dwarf's limbs tied with a dark rope coiling around it. The magic held him in place, ensuring that even if he woke, there would be no escape.

"It's time to wake up," Valeria continued her sentence, her voice cold as she stood over the bound dwarf. A flick of her wrist sent a jolt of dark energy through the bindings, jolting him awake. The dwarf groaned as his eyes fluttered open, panic quickly setting in as he realized his predicament. His limbs were tightly bound by the enchanted ropes, and the oppressive aura of Valeria's demonic magic filled the room.

The dwarf's eyes darted around the dimly lit chamber, its stone walls pulsing faintly with demonic energy.

Valeria's patience was wearing thin, and her crimson eyes narrowed with deadly intent. She gripped the dwarf's chin tightly, forcing his gaze to meet hers. The flicker of defiance in his eyes was fading, replaced by pure terror.

"You are testing me," Valeria hissed, her voice low and threatening. "I've broken far stronger than you, dwarf. You will talk. And you will talk now."

Her hand glowed with dark energy once more, and she slammed it against his chest. This time, the magic wasn't just painful-it was invasive. The dwarf screamed, his mind assaulted by images of fire and destruction, his body wracked with unbearable pain. Every nerve felt as though it was being torn apart from the inside.

The dwarf's will faltered. His body convulsed as he gasped for air, eyes wide with agony. "Stop!" he finally cried out, his voice hoarse and broken. "Please... I'll tell you..."

Valeria smirked and withdrew her hand, the dark energy dissipating. She stood tall, her gaze cold and unwavering as she watched the dwarf collapse, breathing heavily and trembling. "Good," Valeria said, her voice calm but filled with malice. "Now, tell me what the humans

are really doing in your kingdom."

"Go to hell!" the dwarf spat.

Valeria's smirk twisted into a scowl, her eyes narrowing dangerously as the dwarf spat out his defiance. The flicker of resistance in his voice only served to fuel her fury. She had given him a chance, but his insolence had sealed his fate.

"Go to hell?" she repeated mockingly, her voice cold and sharp. "You're already there." Without hesitation, Valeria thrust her hand forward, her dark energy surging once again. This time, it wasn't simply pain-her magic began to tear into the dwarf's very essence. His body convulsed violently, his face contorted in sheer agony as his soul itself felt the dark tendrils of Valeria's power.

His screams filled the chamber, echoing off the stone walls as Valeria continued her assault, watching with satisfaction as the dwarf's will crumbled. His skin began to pale, his breaths growing shallow as the life was slowly drained from him.

"You had your chance," Valeria whispered, leaning in close as the dwarf's strength faded. "But now, I'll take what I need, and you'll die knowing you were too weak to resist."

She placed her palm on his forehead, and with a vicious tug, she began pulling the information directly from his mind. The dwarf's memories, thoughts, and secrets spilled into her consciousness like a torrent, revealing every hidden detail he had tried to protect. Images of the human contraption arriving at the Dwarven Kingdom, carrying their Queen as it heads towards the place where the humans are staying.

The dwarf's body trembled as his mind was ravaged by Valeria's power, his eyes glazing over as his life force was siphoned away. The screams gradually subsided into shallow gasps until, finally, the dwarf went limp. His eyes stared blankly at the ceiling, lifeless.

Valeria withdrew her hand, a dark satisfaction washing over her as she absorbed the final piece of information she had extracted.
